The report by Boat International took account of work at 179 shipyards worldwide where yachts over 24 metres in length are built, revealing that top ranking Azimut Benetti has a 12% share of the market in this segment based on the 821 projects analysed, with a lead over the second ranking player of 16% in terms of number of projects and 432 metres by length.

Azimut reveals new images of first unit in "zero emission" Seadeck 6 series
According to the shipyard, the Seadeck 6 can reduce C02 emissions by as much as 40 per cent in one year of average use compared to traditional yachts of a similar size. This is thanks to a combination of a carbon fibre build for weight reduction and an efficient hull form by Azimut-Benetti in collaboration with NAMES.
