FREEDOM yacht charter was built in 2019 and since then, she has made countless guests fondly remember the time they spent on this wonderful yacht and the unique atmosphere of the Croatian Adriatic sea.

Her first refit came just in time for her to be ready for the 2022 summer season, with numerous amenities added to her already avid collection of yacht facilities, including an onboard spa centre, a yacht cinema, which doubles as a game room for kids and a fully equipped yacht gym.

The dining room located on the upper deck has enough room to accommodate all guests in a well-appointed and air-conditioned interior. The architecture of the superstructure allows for wide and full-sized windows, which will surely elevate the atmosphere during meals in the upper deck salon, regardless of it being day or night.

Because she was built specifically for cruising in the Croatian Adriatic sea, you will have no problems at all relaxing on her decks, enjoying her amenities or sleeping tight in her wonderfully appointed cabins, because of her sturdiness and stability, both at anchor and underway.

She can take on a maximum of 23 guests, accommodating them in 11 cabins, scattered across three decks of this glorious yacht charter.

There will be a total of 11 crew members that will take care of your every wish and desire, as long as you are on holiday on FREEDOM yacht charter. Since the crew-to-guest ratio is 1:2, expect a more detailed and finer service, reflected in the hospitality experience you will definitely enjoy.

Lunch and dinner will consist of several courses and a dessert course while you are onboard FREEDOM yacht charter, with an additional option of tasting dishes in exclusive Croatian restaurants, once FREEDOM makes port.

YACHT MAIN DECK

Since FREEDOM was made to cruise in the Croatian Adriatic, this reflects primarily in her exterior profile and structure. Her stability is achieved by her width, which is possible in the Adriatic, since storms and unfriendly weather starts at the end of autumn.

Her paint job also reflects her Adriatic attitude, with a white coating and several streamlined light blue stripes, personifying her friendly relation to the sea. The first partition on the main deck aft is dedicated to the crew mess and logistics of the yacht itself. Forward from this crew area and guests can enter a huge master cabin.

This central cabin is equipped with a tub, a shower cabin and double sinks, as well as plenty of space in the living quarter, which is modernly designed and contemporary furnished.

Forward still from the central master cabin, there are 5 more cabins – 2 twin cabins and 3 double cabins. This arrangement works great for guests who want more versatility in their choice of sleeping arrangement.

YACHT SUNDECK

The jacuzzi on the sundeck is the epitome of yacht luxury – placed on the aft section of the sundeck, it is surrounded on all sides by pillows and sunbathing cushions, creating an island around the jacuzzi, where guests can chit-chat or sunbathe, while also being able to roll over into the jacuzzi at a moment`s notice.

A cool feature of FREEDOM`s jacuzzi is that it is equipped with LED lights, so that evening jacuzzi sessions become even more coveted during the evenings, when the first light of the stars begins to show itself on the clear Croatian night sky.

Because Croatian has a low level of light pollution, the best place to watch the stars would be in the LED-lighted jacuzzi, where you can feel truly become one with the universe.

A treadmill, a step machine and a stationary bike are the biggest pieces of equipment available, but you can also do a lot with a punching bag, a yoga ball and a full set of weights. A mirror enables you to follow every muscle movement precisely, while a widescreen LED TV provides entertainment for those last minutes of a workout.

The gym is more than spacious enough to handle several guests at once, or a guest training with a professional fitness or yoga instructor.

YACHT LOWER DECK

Besides housing cabin accommodations, the lower deck on FREEDOM yacht charter is also home to some incredible yacht amenities, like the sauna, the massage room and the yacht cinema.

The sauna follows the same pattern of modern design, with the entire room arranged in a natural way; the interior of the sauna supports two benches, while the wood is bright and light, accentuated by the LED lights integrated into the ceiling. Outside the glass door, a small lay-back sofa offers a chance to literally catch your breath after exiting the sauna.

There isn’t a better way to visit Croatia and experience each of the islands than traveling on Dalmatino. The boat was stunning. The boat crew had the best service I have ever experienced. This trip will be very hard to top. We were directed to the best experiences on each island, food was absolutely delicious and beautiful at the same time. I would highly recommend this yacht and staff to anyone who has the opportunity to travel to Croatia!

I would give a six star as a vacation spot and a 100% satisfying rate. The staff was so helpful and so so nice. Food was over the top in presentation, variety and was delicious. The Captain chose just a perfect route through the islands, the right amount of village time as play time. I would do this trip every year on Dalmatino!

Last but not leats, the Captain who ensure no matter the weather there was always a plan for fun in place. Overall, I wish I couls stay with you forever and I have never had such a wonderful time. I have no words to explain the marvelous adventure we have sailed with Captain Tom. It has been the upmost pleasure to embark in this journey around the Adriatic Sea with such a wonderful crew. Carefree and a wonderful cruise down the Adriatic Mastercharter was the best Croatian travel agency I have dealt with in the last ten years. Ivana, Mirna and Mate are devout professionals who will tender to your every need. Ask a question and you will get an answer momentarily, if one of them is busy one of the others will respond. No detail is overlooked and everything is done to your satisfaction. They stay true to their motto which says “Everything is possible for one who believes”.

I wanted to charter a gulet for a family cruise and for my particular needs they suggested the Altair which turned out to be the perfect choice. The name Altair is derived from the bright star, aka Alpha Aquilae, which shines as the brightest star in the constellation Aquila the Eagle. It describes this gullet perfectly; it is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The crew is a family run affair; Captain Dare is a capable sailor and a wonderful host. His Dad Duje is a fantastic cook and a Captain in his own right and Dare’s sister Luce (Lucy) is a wonderful hostess and a do everything gal who will attend to your every need. Also there is Lovro, a very capable sailor who makes sure that the boat is securely tied, he will help you with all the heavy lifting, will provide you with the swimming toys once you are in the water and will watch over you while you swim.

The cruise down the Jadran (Adriatic Sea) was absolutely fantastic. We were in and out of secluded coves for swimming in the crystal clear water during the day and visited famous towns like Hvar, Korčula, Polače, Ston and others in the evening. It was a perfect combination of rest, relaxation and sightseeing.

I would like to take this opportnity to thank the crew once more for making me and my family feel like we were a part of their family and for providing us with a carefree, restfull, exciting and wonderfull experience. Special thanks goes out to my new friend Duje Junior (Dare’s son) who made our trip that much more enjoyable, this is from his new friend Brankec.

Romanca – 18.06.-25.06.2022

We travel often and far, and we have been around the world and had amazing experiences. But our vacation on the Romanca, chartered via MasterCharter, was truly unrivaled! Airline travel these days can be beyond hectic, and our vacation seemed to get off to the wrong start when the airline lost our luggage. Ivana (Mastercharter) and Andrea (owner of the Romanca) arranged a speedboat to take a passenger to get medication that had gone missing with the bags and PERSONALLY tracked our luggage down and had it hand-delivered to the boat as we were eating breakfast under sail. Additionally, a member of our party had a bicycle accident, and Marin (Romanca’s captain) was on location in minutes with the town’s doctor and sat with us through the process of going to the hospital and getting a few stitches, then offered to buy the injured person an ice cream, (because everyone knows when you get stitches, you get an ice cream). Despite our two mishaps, all 15 of our party fell madly in love with Croatia, the Adriatic, MasterCharter, and most specifically the Romanca and its crew. The Romanca is by far the prettiest wooden gullet on the Adriatic; you cannot help but share the pride of her crew as she sails into port. You can tie her up next to the largest, newest ship in any marina, and know you are the one privileged enough to call the Romanca home. Valentina and Mario knew everyone by name on the first morning and never forgot our food or drink preferences — my latte was being made before I could sit at the Romanca’s massive table. Victor is a world class chef and a true artist who goes out of his way to please everyone. He woke up in the middle of the night to feed the three of us who waited for the doctor to finish his work on our patient, and we got a beautiful steak with rice and salad, totally unexpected and above and beyond. Ivan, the first mate, went out with several of our younger “sailors” (as per our request) when they wanted to go to a club at midnight. He watched over us and protected us like family, even at the sacrifice of his night’s sleep. And Marin navigated us through it all, recommending phenomonal wineries, restaurants, and excursions on the islands. I’m not prone to write reviews, or be loquacious, but for this trip, I must! These people are so special and amazing; they find a magical way of outshining the scenery. That said, Croatia and her islands are not to be missed, their beauty is unparalleled and the experience is unmatched. Do yourself a favor, spend a week on the Romanca… just don’t book the weeks we want, we will be back!

IT IS HARD IN LIFE TO BE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO EVER BE ABLE TO BE IN A POSITION TO BE ABLE TO VACATION ON A BOAT SUCH AS ANIMA MARIS. HOWEVER, IT IS EVEN MORE DIFFICULT TO HAVE AN EXPERIENCE THAT EXCEEDS ALL OF YOUR EXPECTATIONS.THIS TRIP WAS BEYOND WHAT WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. WE HOPED IT WOULD BE THIS WONDERFUL, BUT TO HAVE EACH DAY BE BETTER THAN THE DAY BEFORE HAS TRULY BEEN A DELIGHT. THE BOAT OF COURSE IS A WORK OF ART,A MIX OF MODERN YET STILL ROMANTIC. THE CABINS ARE SO SPACIOUS AND THE BATHROOMS AS WELL.NOVAK’S COOKING WAS SPECTACULAR AS WELL AS ALEXANDER. ANYTHING WE WANTED DELIVERED WHICH AS WE ALL KNOW IS NOT AN EASY THING TO DO. SONIA KEPT OUR CABINS AND LAUNDRY IMPECCABLE AND THE REST OF THE CREW WAS WITH US ON DECK TIME WE NEEDED ANYTHING AT ALL. THE LOADED THE WATER TOY INTO THE SEA EVERYDAY SO OUR KIDS COULD RIDE THE SEABOB FROM MORNING TILL NIGHT. THEY WATCHED CAREFULLY AS THEY FLIPPED OFF THE TOP DECK IN TO THE WATER. CAPTAIN MARIO ALWAYS FOUND US THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BAYS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, PICKED THE BEST CREW. THEN WE CAME TO VICTORIA WHO ALL DAY, EVERYDAY MADE SURE WE HAD ANY DRINK OR SNACK WE WANTED. Captain Luka was very professional and helpful, his brother Damir and the chef were excellent too. I think the Steward, Ivor was a bit out of his depth as he was really a deck hand that had stood in for a Stewardess from what we learned, and whilst he tried hard, my only recommendation would be that an experienced stewardess would have added polish to the whole drinking and dining experience.

Istria, as the most western part of Croatia, is the heart of the north Adriatic Sea. Close to the old seafarer port of Trieste and only a few hours by boat from Venice, in the port of Pula is located our shipyard “AVANGARD SHIPYARDS” It is a wonderful deep-water port, well protected and perfect for larger yachts to stay and start their cruise of the Adriatic. Among others, the Romans settled there, and the most preserved Amphitheatre in the world still tells of the glory of the ancient nation. It was the Austrian nation’s emperor who made this port into a large naval dockyard for their ambitious dream of constructing navy ships. Friendly people and a close to Italian life style, with excellent food and a clean environment, create a perfect location for joyful experiences. The Adriatic coastline, including the islands, is nearly 6000 km long. These unexploited resorts enable people to enjoy the benefits of “the cleanest sea in the world”. Hundreds of islands, with ten times more gulfs and bays, are a good reason to stop and find the harmony that comes from natural beauty, climate and people.

Navigating the Peak Season: Tips for Securing Your Prime Dalmatian Marina Spot

Recommended Dalmatian coast marinas are open 365 days a year. During July and August, finding a free berth is most challenging on Fridays and Saturdays when charter guests change in their home ports. We suggest planning your arrival during the week. At that time, there are noticeably fewer crowds in all coastal marinas and on the roads, making your journey and stay more comfortable.

Besides luxury yachts , other vessels have also started offering charter arrangements that are not tied to Saturdays. All listed marinas in Croatia, except Marina Slano, have a gas station within the marina or at the entrance. Marina Slano is 14 nautical miles away from the nearest gas station in Dubrovnik.

So, it’s up to you to choose the aquatory you want to explore and the marina that suits your itinerary and preference. After that, all that’s left is to immerse yourself in the enchanting beauty of sailing the Adriatic .

ACI Marina Dubrovnik

ACI Marina Dubrovnik is one of the safest and most beautiful Adriatic coast marinas, located only 6 km from the city walls of Dubrovnik. Situated in an exclusive location, at the mouth of the Ombla River, the world’s shortest river, beneath the baroque steps of the impressive Sorkočević summer residence.

In addition to the magnificent castle, this marina has golf courses, restaurants, a pool, playgrounds, ecological courtyards, and is a true paradise for sailors. The marina’s offerings are complemented by two Tesla Only electric charging stations and one Tesla Universal charging station.

ACI Marina Dubrovnik has 380 sea berths and around a hundred dry berths, accommodating yachts up to 45 meters in length. During strong northeast winds, sailors are advised to exercise caution when entering the marina.

Marina Frapa Dubrovnik

Marina Frapa Dubrovnik is located opposite the bustling Gruž ferry port and in close proximity to the historic core of Dubrovnik. Frapa Dubrovnik is also the world’s first marina with fully covered piers adorned with LED lights that change color at night, creating a special and pleasant atmosphere.

Furthermore, this is the first Croatian marina to offer tank emptying service at every berth, which is a significant advantage for sailors, and the marina also provides free charging for Tesla vehicles. Within the marina complex, there is a service facility with a large terrace where guests can relax by the pool and loungers.

Nautical visitors have access to 220 fully equipped berths for yachts ranging from 10 to 50 meters, and there is also one berth for yachts up to 100 meters.

ACI Marina Slano

ACI Marina Slano is situated in the northeastern part of a spacious bay that has always been a safe haven for all vessels. It is surrounded by high mountain slopes, and at its heart lies the picturesque and tranquil village of Slano. It is only 37 kilometers away from Dubrovnik and is named after Veljko Barbieri, the founder of the idea of establishing the ACI marina chain.

This modern marina offers a wide range of services and facilities. Guests have access to a pool located next to the restaurant, and near the marina, in the Admiral Hotel, there is a wellness center, a hair salon, and two small grocery stores.

ACI Marina Slano also has two Tesla Only and one Tesla Universal charging station. The marina has 193 sea berths, and yachts up to 50 meters in length can be moored there.

ACI Marina Split

Protected by a long stone breakwater from all southern winds, ACI Marina Split is one of the most popular medium-sized marinas in Croatia. Nestled in the heart of the city of Split , across from the lively Split ferry port. ACI Marina Split is also the starting point for a beautiful seaside walk that leads to Diocletian’s Palace and other city landmarks.

In addition to an electric vehicle charging station, this modernly equipped marina boasts restaurants, bars, a small grocery store, and many other services to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests. With an impressive capacity of 318 sea berths and 30 dry berths, ACI Marina Split provides a perfect shelter for vessels of all sizes, up to 90 meters in length.

During the summer months, the marina transforms into a true fashion runway for yachts, attracting the attention of nautical and luxury enthusiasts.

Marina Kaštela

Marina Kaštela is one of the most visited Croatian marinas because, in addition to a wide range of services, it enjoys an exceptional geographical location. It is nestled at the bottom of the spacious Kaštela Bay, protected from wind and waves by the green slopes of the hills of Kozjak and Marjan, as well as the Čiovo peninsula.

In addition to standard services, guests can enjoy a pool during hot summer days, and a small beach with a cocktail bar is located right next to the marina. In Marina Kaštela, sailors will have everything they desire, including the option to charge electric vehicles.

The marina has 420 sea berths and 200 land berths, and along its 500-meter breakwater, it can accommodate mega-yachts, adding to its charm.

Trogir Marinas

In the area of the town of Trogir , just a few kilometers away, three attractive marinas are located – ACI Marina Trogir, Marina Trogir, and Marina Baotić. While the first two, situated on the Čiovo peninsula, offer a view of the impressive Trogir towers and walls, Marina Baotić is located on the mainland side of Trogir, only two kilometers away from this UNESCO-protected city.

ACI Marina Trogir is the oldest Trogir marina, with 174 sea berths and 35 dry berths, and right next to it is Marina Trogir with 232 sea berths and 114 dry berths. Both marinas can accommodate vessels up to 30 meters in length and provide all standard services.

Marina Baotić is the largest marina with 480 berths and over two hundred dry berths. In addition to standard services, this marina features an open-air pool and a private beach with direct access from the marina. A Tesla electric charging station completes the overall ecological concept of this modern Adriatic coastal marina.

Scheduled to open its doors from 25 - 28 September, the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show is set to return to the beautiful Port Hercules in what promises to be yet another edition filled with some of the most spectacular superyacht charters on the market.

Annually welcoming a plethora of luxury yacht rentals, with many measuring 164ft (50m) upwards, the Monaco Yacht Show proudly showcases the finest and most opulent superyachts around. Previously playing host to incredible boat charters like 295.79ft (90.1m) superyacht NERO and the 298.79ft (91m) Lurssen charter yacht LADY LARA , the 2024 edition will be displaying an enticing selection of the largest yachts for charter .  

Here are some of the superyachts that have announced their attendance to the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show so far.

One of the most expensive yachts for charter and making her debut at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show, 400.3ft (122m) superyacht charter KISMET joined the fleet of Lurssen charter yachts in March 2024 and has rapidly become one of the most captivating yachts on the market.

Recently awarded the Best Charter Award at the Robb Report Awards in Monaco, KISMET features a host of unique features, including a striking jaguar emblem on her bowsprit. With an elevator connecting her decks, plus many premium amenities like a personal submarine, a helipad, spa-quality health and wellness area, and expansive exterior decks, ideal for Mediterranean yacht charters , KISMET makes a bold statement and certainly knows how to deliver.

Yacht of Ukrainian oligarch close to Putin indefinitely frozen in Croatia

A yacht belonging to Viktor Medvedchuk, a Ukrainian oligarch and former member of the Ukrainian Parliament close to Russian leader Vladimir Putin who has been accused of treason, remains indefinitely frozen in Croatia as part of sanctions. The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine is taking measures to ensure Medvedchuk’s property is frozen or confiscated.

Quote from Maksymets : "National Asset Recovery and Management Agency’s (ARMA) claims that it has not been able to sell the yacht seized in Croatia due to the lack of an indictment in the criminal proceedings from the Prosecutor General’s Office are groundless and misleading.

Having received the decision of the national [Ukrainian] and Croatian courts to confiscate the yacht and sell it, the ARMA did not manage to sell this asset within the given period, which is why the Prosecutor General’s Office, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and law enforcement agencies, took measures to impose European sanctions on this vessel."

Details : According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, Medvedchuk’s Royal Romance yacht is currently frozen as part of two proceedings against Medvedchuk.

The Office of the Prosecutor General and the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Ukraine have handed the evidence gathered by the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Bureau of Investigations over to European Union officials. This evidence base was sufficient to impose sanctions on Medvedchuk’s assets, including the Royal Romance yacht.

On 27 May 2024, the EU imposed sanctions on Medvedchuk and his wife. The Royal Romance yacht is currently frozen due to sanctions. It has been seized in the port of Trogir (Croatia) in accordance with the decision of the Permanent Sanctions Group and cannot leave the EU territory. The Office of the Prosecutor General is working alongside the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and international partners to develop a mechanism to confiscate and sell the yacht.

Background :

On 23 July 2024, Yaroslav Zhelezniak, Deputy Chairman of the Financial Committee of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament), said that the National Asset Recovery and Management Agency of Ukraine (ARMA) was unable to sell Viktor Medvedchuk's seized yacht, Royal Romance, because the court in Croatia has lifted its arrest.

In April 2022, prosecutors and investigators, in cooperation with partners from the United States, tracked down Medvedchuk’s yacht and obtained evidence that it belonged to him. On 23 May 2022, the District Court of Split (Croatia), pursuant to the Office of the Prosecutor General’s request for international legal assistance, seized the vessel for the maximum period of two years, in accordance with Croatian law.

The Office of the Prosecutor General, in cooperation with Croatian authorities, were able to freeze the yacht for a month.

The ARMA did not start the process of selling the yacht until 20 March 2024, almost two years after its arrest.

In light of the approach of the sale deadline, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine initiated the process of seizing Medvedchuk’s yacht through the EU sanctions mechanisms in order to prevent it from leaving Croatian waters and to ensure that it could be confiscated and sold in the future.
