Disney’s Yacht Club Resort VIP Top Tips
While room requests are not guaranteed , at the Yacht Club ask to be closest to the lobby to limit the amount of walking needed to the pool area and transportation to the Theme Parks.
The Yacht Club has a beautiful wedding gazebo in its gardens. From the balconies of some of the Garden View and Water View rooms, you can overlook this area and glimpse a Disney wedding.
At Disney’s Yacht Club Resort , all rooms have a full balcony or patio.
Enjoy the close proximity to Epcot’s World Showcase . While there is a boat launch available at Epcot, you can get there faster by walking.
You can access Disney’s Hollywood Studios by boat. You may also enjoy a brisk walk around the BoardWalk down to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In general, you may find the boat ride shorter than walking to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
These resorts offer one of the best pools on Walt Disney World property. While separate, the Yacht & Beach Club Resorts share the pool area. There is a “shipwreck” that offers the entry point to the main water slide. Some areas of the pool have a sandy bottom.
These resort hotels are located near the BoardWalk, offering a short walk to additional restaurants and nightlife that do not require park admission.
Sometimes Disney’s bus transportation may share buses with the other resort hotels in the Epcot area around the BoardWalk. If you find yourself stopping at multiple stops, you may want to get off at the first stop and just walk the rest of the way. This is sometimes quicker than stopping at each resort hotel if the bus loop is being shared with multiple resorts.

The Secret Tips For Getting Disney World to Answer the Phone
By Kelly Oliveros 8 Comments
When planning a trip to Disney World, during your trip, or even after your trip, you might need to call Disney to ask them a question, make a special request, or get specific information.
Time to Head to Disney World!
But what number do you call?! There are a lot of different numbers on Disney World’s websites. Today we’re breaking it all down for you and giving you the ultimate guide to Disney World contact numbers.
Keep in mind, this list is based on the information we could obtain from Disney. Some of these lines may be direct lines that lead you directly to the department they’re intended to lead you to. Other numbers may indicate that they are direct numbers, but instead lead you back to a general line.
And some may in fact be direct numbers, but due to high call volume or other factors, you may STILL get redirected to a general line. But, hopefully, this list can help you navigate the phone system and speak to the Cast Members you need to speak to about your specific issues!

All I wanted to know is How long the chocolate Easter Eggs are going to be displayed at the Grand Floridian. So for a simple question I waited 45 minutes and gave up. What terrible customer service. As a stockholder and annual pass holder I would accept better, much better customer service for all visitors!!

Calling Disney is a lesson in futility. I can’t count the number f times I have called and after being on hold for hours, received no help. But thank you for the list, DFB, we are EVER hopeful that Disney will do a better job with customer service!

Hi there. I can not get a direct access to Old Key West anymore. The number listed (which was the same number I had in my phone from 2015, so I know it was right at one time) gets me to a calling center, “that answers the phone for old key west.” Everyone is incredibly nice and helpful. It’s just sometimes necessary to speak with someone who has SEEN the property.

Jill, here is the info for the Yacht Clubs preplanning department: Phone 407-934-1448 Fax 407-934-1487 E-mail [email protected] Definitely check in with them as soon as you can. I've had contact with Amy, Angie, Alana and Annalisa. They are probably the best pre-planners that I've ever worked with. They'll send you out an elevator key so that you can access the concierge floor as soon as you arrive. I also got park maps, recreation and resort information from them. If you are splitting your stay between two resorts, they can still handle your whole vacation for you. Hope that helps, Tammi

**if you can dream it, you can do it**.
I haven't worked with Lauren yet and I believe that Annalisa is out on personal leave. Jill, I've stopped relying on getting that phone call ahead of time. In all my concierge trips, it's only happened once. I have serious OCD issues when it comes to planning my Disney vacations, so as soon as my reservation is in the system, I'm usually on the phone with the pre-planners. This vacation is a Christmas surprise for my family and the girls have gone out of their way to help. They've done some park shopping for me and they are going to put the presents under the tree in our room. I haven't left home yet and I already feel like our trip is going to be magical. Tammi

Flying the spy's burgee
One of the best kept secrets in the LA harbor. Great yacht club with very reasonable membership and great prices on beers and mixed drinks in the bar daily . Weekly dinners on Saturdays. Great bands playing during the year for special theme weekends. If you into boating and not a member of the famous San Pedro Yacht Club now is the time to join. Great bunch of members. Tons of good times at one of the only floating two story yacht clubs in the world.
