Countdown to midnight as you sip on delicious cocktails and dance 2023 away! Start your new year off right with an experience you won’t forget!

This cruise is for 21+ only! They will check IDs at the gangway!

• Boards: 10:00 p.m.
• Cruises: 10:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.
• Docking: 12:30 a.m. – 12:45 a.m.

• Planning a romantic NYE celebration? This is an experience you'll cherish forever. Kiss under the stars at midnight as you take in the VIP, 360 degree views of the best firework displays in Tampa Bay. Not to mention: gourmet dining, private dance floors, and the gentle sway of the sea. Your date will surely be impressed!
• Expect various NYE event traffic while en route to the docks -  plan accordingly!

The dress code is cocktail attire. A jacket is suggested for men and cocktail dresses for women.

We ask guests NOT to wear the following: 

Excessively revealing clothing or exposed undergarments, see-through attire, mesh outfits, clothing with offensive language or graphics, ball caps, jerseys, or torn pants. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to inform their party of the dress code. 

Admittance to Yacht StarShip is at the discretion of management who reserves the right to refuse service to patrons who arrive in attire not fitting dress code, regardless of the reservation status. For holidays and special events, no refunds or store credit will be given to guests who arrive in attire not fitting the dress code.

NON-EVENT NIGHT PARKING – Parking is available in the Garrison Street Parking Lot at a fee of $2/hour. Parking will also be available at the Tampa Port Authority Parking Garage 369 South 12th Street, Tampa, Florida, 33602. If you choose to park in the parking garage please bring your parking ticket and we will validate it at the ticket booth when you are picking up your boarding passes so you may receive a discounted rate for parking.

Refund Policy: This cruise is non-refundable and non-transferable. We do not accept vouchers or offer discounts on holiday/special event cruises.

New Years Eve 2012

Before going, we read many, many reviews on Yacht Starship out of Channelside in Tampa. So we were aware of the pros and cons of this dinner cruise. First the pros: $299 for a couple gets you ALL you can possibly drink in 2 1/2 hours. Bartenders were very good. Occasionally, a server would come to our table. Food was buffet style (we liked that). Beautiful scenery of downtown Tampa still decked out for the holidays, and a terrific view of the fireworks from 1/4 mile offshore. The cons: the tables and chairs in the waiting area were loaded onto the boat and therefore was over-booked (it was a sellout). We waited for the line to pass by and joined the line at the end knowing a seat was guaranteed for everyone.The only seats available were at the stern outside. We are thankful the cold front that had passed thru a few days earlier had mellowed so we knew it could have been much worse. Party favors for everyone? Not for those of us outside. Hors d' oeuvres for everyone? Not for those of us outside (wait, a server did come out to our table once with a tray). Food was ok, not outstanding as they tout. The boat left channelside and it was announced we would head to Hillsbourough Bay. This was blatantly untrue. We proceeded up the channel east of Harbor Island, turned right and went down Seddon Channel, stopped at TGH, turned around and returned the same way. We got nowhere near the Davis Island airport, let alone Hillsborough Bay. I have no idea how AAA gives this a "3-diamond" rating as stated on their site. Unable to recommend to anyone. We won't return.

The NYE rooftop Masquerade Ball will take place on the 7th floor of the dual-branded Aloft and Element Hotel in Midtown Tampa on Sunday, December 31 from 7 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Prepare for an evening of opulence, enchantment, and mystery as Sal Y Mar transforms into a Masquerade Ball, encouraging guests to embrace the spirit of the celebration in style.

Highlights: In Russia, in the city of Elektrostal (Moscow region), during demonstrations, Rosgvardia soldiers began shooting at spectators with children from machine guns with blank cartridges. One child received serious damage from a rebounded cartridge case. In the video, a child can be heard crying and screaming violently. It is also interesting that Russia recently arranged a solemn farewell to Vladimir Shestakov, convicted for the murder of a child, who became a mercenary of PMC "Wagner" and was liquidated in the war in Ukraine.
