The Real Madrid soccer player has quite the history in Saint-Tropez — during a vacation in 2012, Cristiano shared intense PDA with then-girlfriend Irina Shayk , who has since moved on with Bradley Cooper in a big way . Superyachts have been considered a status symbol today, and many top athletes own a motorboat that shows off their expensive tastes. Before Cristiano Ronaldo purchased his $7 million yachts in 2020, he would rent a yacht charter called Africa I that featured six cabins for twelve guests. According to Insider , the rent of the yacht was $239,500 per week, so the soccer star decided to purchase a yacht for himself.

In 2020, Ronaldo spotted the yacht in Viareggio, Italy, at the Azimut-Benetti Shipyards before buying it for himself. Called the Azimut-Grande 27, the yacht offers dynamic stability with its carbon-fiber structure that reduces weight and increases the surface area. Azimut-Grande 27 was designed by Achille Salvagni Architects, while the prolific superyacht designer Stefano Righini completed the exterior styling. The yacht's overall length is 26.78 meters, width is 6.59 meters with a maximum speed of 28 knots, as reported by Azimut Yachts .

The yacht's interior is equipped with space and comfort that the family can enjoy. It features five expansive bedrooms and six equally stunning bathrooms. Additionally, it has two lounge rooms with a dining table in the adjoining open area for a romantic dinner. The kitchen is stocked with modern appliances for the crew to make meals, as stated by Daily Star . The deck has an open bar with two lounge areas to bask in the sunlight next to it. The Owner's Cabin is located on the yacht's Main Deck and has full-height windows on all sides to offer a scenic view of the ocean.

The Azimut-Grande 27 was built considering the highest nautical standards and has received the CE Category A and NMMA certifications that ensure that the boat follows two important safety codes. At the Wheelhouse, the yacht is equipped with an Optimus Electronic Power Steering system created by Seastar Solutions and helps the owner configure responses to eliminate hydraulic lines from the helm station. With its Active Trim Control, the superyacht offers an increase in speed and lower fuel consumption.

As mentioned by The Sun , after purchasing the Azimut-Grande 27, Cristiano Ronaldo first set sail on the superyacht in 2020 and took it on a debut voyage to the Tyrrhenian coast, which is a part of the Mediterranean Sea with his girlfriend and children. The soccer star showed off the new purchase on Instagram to his more than 400 million followers. He has continued to set sail on the yacht during summers and taking time off from playing on the soccer field.

Ronaldo has been spotted on the yacht multiple times, including when his team was eliminated from the Round of 16 at Euro 2020, and he decided to take a break with his family. As a part of the Italian football club Juventus, he spends most of his time in Italy and sets sail along the beautiful coasts. He has also traveled to a small commune in Italy called Celle Ligure. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the soccer star spent uninterrupted time on the yacht away from the public with his family, enjoying the sea and staying aboard the luxury vessel.

Ronaldo has, in recent years, swapped Ibiza for the French Riviera as his preferred summer holiday destination. This week, he's been seen sunbathing aboard a luxury yacht off the coast of Saint-Tropez.

The 47m vessel, the Africa I, boasts a large deck with jacuzzi, gym, six rooms for up to 12 guests and plenty of water toys including two jet skis, sea bobs, water skis, paddle board, wakeboard and even an inflatable water slide. Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo , star player for both Real Madrid and the Portugal national team, has been having a blast on a superyacht in St. Tropez with a bunch of equally buff pals. Not a bad distraction while his supermodel ex, Irina Shayk, moves on. The 30-year-old superstar athlete split with the stunning model a few months back after a five year romance, and the Russian bombshell is now reportedly dating Bradley Cooper. But Ronaldo has been all smiles aboard the 111-foot Lionchase yacht, owned by British Topshop billionaire Sir Philip Green. The open-styled vessel was built by Italy’s Overmarine Mangusta in 2008 and is one of the fastest yachts in its class, in the world. Powered by twin 2,772hp diesel engines mated to twin waterjets, it can reach a top speed of 37 knots (42.5mph).

The Mirror reports that Ronaldo and friends have been sunbathing, working out and enjoying the water toys aboard the stylish yacht with Green, his daughter Chloe and his wife Tina. He also made an excursion to shore to visit Saint-Tropez's exclusive nightclub Le Quai. The Lionchase is often used by Green, worth an estimated $5 billion, as a support vessel for his even larger yacht, the 206-foot Benetti-built Lionheart. Green has loaned Lionchase out to celebrity pals in the past. Last year Leo DiCaprio and German model Toni Garrn holidayed aboard the vessel on a trip to Ibiza and in 2011 Green lent the boat to his close friend and business associate Kate Moss on her honeymoon with rock star Jamie Hince.

Cristiano Ronaldo is known for being skillful on the pitch but he was spotted displaying a different type of skill while on holiday in Saint-Tropez.

The Portuguese superstar looked to be enjoying himself as he performed an acrobatic dive of a yacht while vacationing on the French Riviera.

Despite his happy exterior, Ronaldo would no doubt prefer to be in the same position as his rivals with Real Madrid, Barcelona.

Luis Enrique's side added the Copa del Rey to their La Liga title on Saturday night courtesy of another Lionel Messi masterclass.

The Argentine scored one of the finest goals of his career to give Barca a 1-0 lead over Athletic Bilbao at the Nou Camp.

He picked up the ball just inside the opposition half before weaving his way past four players and slamming home.

Neymar doubled the lead prior to the interval before Messi made it 3-0 with his 58th goal of the season.

Bilbao pulled one back through an Inaki Williams header but the contest was already over well before that point.

Next up for Barcelona is the Champions League final, as they look to win the trophy which Ronaldo and Real Madrid claimed last year.

Cristiano Ronaldo Suns Himself aboard Philip Green’s Superyacht Lionchase

Well hello there sailor! Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo was seen in sunny St Tropez this week soaking up the rays on board billionaire British clothing retailer Sir Philip Green ‘s yacht, Lionchase . Accompanying them was Sir Philip himself, wife Tina and their daughter, Chloe.

The Real Madrid footballer was seen on vacation around the time of the Champions League Final, which sadly he was not a part of this year since his team lost in the semi-finals and his arch rival team, Barcelona took home the trophy instead.

He has been consoling himself since his split from model Irina Shayk with a proper lads’ holiday in Saint-Tropez. The boys have been having a wonderful vacation, the highlight so far being spotted indulging in some YMCA dance moves out on deck for all to see!

The beautiful sunny weather has clearly meant that Cristiano has been at liberty to put on some rather muscular displays aboard his party boat and wearing nothing but a rather small pair of swimming shorts… Doesn’t leave much to the imagination…!

The star was also spotted at Saint-Tropez’s exclusive club Le Quai but did manage to got into a spot of trouble and was given a minor warning by police for urinating in the street when he left the club in the early hours. Tut tut!

If anything, the vacay has been showing Russian beauty Irina exactly what she’s been missing. The couple called time on their five-year relationship this year and recently, the beautiful brunette has been linked to Hollywood heart-throb Bradley Cooper. Cristiano however is still a bachelor and very much on the market…

The stunning superyacht Lionchase is one of two that Sir Philip Green owns and often lends out to his celebrity friends, including Kate Moss and Leonardo DiCaprio . This one is 110ft (33m) long, was built in 2006 and cost a reported US $50 million. The other one, Lionheart is double the size and is another beautiful vessel to be spotted usually around the French Riviera. Cristiano showed that he is not just a dab hand with a football but he can dance and jet ski too. Is there anything this pretty boy can’t do?

If we could trade lives with one celebrity couple right now, it would be Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez.

The football ace, 35, and model, 26, have been living it up on the French Riviera on a £5.5 million superyacht.

Meanwhile, we lay in our bathtub the other day, closed our eyes and pretended it was a pool.

From soaking up the sun in Saint Tropez to going for lavish dinners in Monaco, these two have been absolutely loving life.

Of course, no getaway would be complete without some social media documentation and the couple have been keeping us updated with all of their antics.

Making the most of the yacht, Cristiano posed against a sunset on the deck in his (very small) swimming shorts.

‘There are only two options: the view or ME. I let you choose your favorite one?!’ the Juventus player teased.

Well, the view, obviously (lol jk, obviously you, Cristiano).

Clearly impressed with her boyfriend’s photoshoot, Georgina also took up prime position on the deck in a breezy white co-ord.

The couple jetted off with their daughter Alana Martina, two, and Cristiano’s son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, 10, and his twins Eva and Mateo, three.

The family have been packing in all sorts of cute quality time in during lockdown.

They all strapped their helmets on for an adorable bike ride in the countryside, which proud dad Cristiano captioning a photo of the brood: ‘Family bike ride.’

The clan have also been making the most of their pool, which they filled with princess carriage (!) inflatables.

When they’re not sunning on a yacht in Saint Tropez, Cristiano and his family are said to be living in Turin, Italy, after relocating to Madeira, Portugal, earlier this year.

Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo appears to be making the most of his time off the pitch, as he was spotted relaxing in Saint Tropez this weekend.

The 30-year-old Real Madrid player ensured he got an even tan, sporting only a pair of small yellow swimming shorts as he made his way off a yacht   

Cristiano was joined on the French Riviera by Chloe Green and her parents, Topshop billionaire Sir Philip and his wife Tina.

Firm friends: Ronaldo arrived at the Club 55 with a large group of friends including Sir Philip Green, his wife Tina and socialite daughter Chloe

Chloe, 24, was seen wearing a red kaftan over a black bikini, teamed with Chanel espadrilles and pilot shades. 

The footballer is believed to be single, following his recent split from his partner of five years Irina Shayk.

The Russian supermodel has since moved on with actor Bradley Cooper, and the new couple have been putting on several public displays of affection this month.

One for the ladies: The footballer is clearly not slacking off just because he is on holiday 

Last week the Real Madrid superstar swapped the turf for the track as he attended the showbiz Monaco Grand Prix.

The Portuguese superstar, a guest of the British team, appeared in good spirits as he posed for pictures alongside the McLaren duo of Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso and London-born model Cara Delevingne.

Green girls: Chloe, 24, was spotted holding hands with her look-a-like mother Tina 

Cristiano's friend Chloe, whose family he joined in Saint Tropez, has recently taken part in the Cash & Rocket charity rally. 

It features 70 women being sponsored by major fashion and luxury brands to drive across Europe.

This year's route, which raised money for three African charities, started in London and ended in Cannes, taking the ladies through Paris, Lyon and Milan during the five-day race.

Chloe, who took part in last year's event, drove an Aston Martin DB9 as a member of Team One.
