This owners version layout features two large sleeping cabins and plenty of living/entertaining space with many opening ports and hatches for good ventilation and lighting. Starting forward in the master stateroom featuring a queen sized centerline berth with private ensuite head and shower. Custom cabinetry made and installed by the Beneteau dealer here in the BVI along both the port and starboard side of the V-berth for added storage.

Moving aft we have the custom saloon that makes for a very comfortable interior and provides an extra large Nav station desk with plenty of storage. To starboard we have a large U-shaped settee with table which converts to a double berth. Aft of the nav station is the guest head with shower and then the guest stateroom with large berth and private entrance to the head. Aft of the salon on the starboard side is the galley with double stainless sinks, propane stove with oven, plenty of storage and fridge with freezer.

Entertaining is made easy with a two-leaf fiberglass cockpit table and teak inlay seating. The cockpit features a custom helm and plenty of shade thanks to the custom bimini enclosure that has full shade screens or isinglass enclosure to stay dry on those rough days at sea. The helm seat folds down to make a walk through to the sugar scoop transom making for easy access boarding the dinghy or getting in and out of the water on the swim ladder.

Bruce Farr designed the Oceanis 440 for maximum performance with minimal effort. Her bulb keel with winglets, gives optimum lift and stability plus all the benefits of shoal draft. She is equipped with all new oversized standing rigging, in-mast furling mainsail system and furling genoa with all control lines led aft to the cockpit. This is a perfect example of a fast, extremely comfortable and most importantly, safe cruising boat.

Catalina 36 Mk1 Tall Rig - 1984

36 ft sloop, Catalina from 1984. Made in the US, by Catalina Yacht. This model was designed by Frank Butler and introduced in 1982. A total of 1766 examples were produced until 1994, when they introduced the Mk2 version.

The boat is currently located in Grenada. Barefoot 2 is the fin keel tall rig version of the Catalina 36 MK1. It has benefited many improvements and lots of care during the last few years both by the previous owners and me. Especially during these covid times. I am a solo sailor and did my best to optimize the boat for safe and practical solo sailing. Interior and exterior upholstery has just been redone. Everything is in working condition. And the boat is ready to go.

I bought Barefoot 2 in February 2020, in Cayman Islands, where it was previously sailed from the US between 2018 and 2020. The boat is duty cleared/paid for the Cayman Islands and was previously registered in Canada. I bought the boat to complete my sailing expedition through the Caribbean, which has come to an end now that I arrived in Grenada. The boat has sailed 4000nm from the us to Cayman Island between 2018 and 2019 with the previous owners. I have myself sailed about 3000nm with Barefoot 2 since I bought it, from Cayman Islands to Grenada.

The boat comes with a 11ft Zodiac Hypalon and aluminum bottom dinghy from 2020 and a 15hp Yamaha 2 stroke (2018). A front locker was added + a sunbrella cover. The new value of such a dinghy is above 7000us dollar alone. Which is reflected in the price asked.
