Peconic bay yacht club wedding, the north fork.

Kiera and Dan celebrated their wedding weekend on Long Island’s North Fork, a region filled with wineries and waterfront dining, perfect for an escape from Manhattan.  The festivities started with a fun welcome dinner at Corey Creek Vineyard , where guests of the couple played lawn games and ate family style under the stars.  The wedding day began with the bride getting ready at her family’s home, where she donned a Marchesa gown.  Her beachy vibe was perfectly accented with whimsical florals by Jenny Wildflower and custom watercolor invitations by Mulberry & Elm .  After the ceremony at Our Lady of Good Council Church , the wedding party arrived at Peconic Bay Yacht Club , where the misty waterfront scenery served as the perfect backdrop for portraits.  The guests rounded out the evening with a dinner followed by dancing to the band Starlight Music .  The day was planned by Lovely Indeed Events .

Peconic Bay Yacht Club Fairy Tale Wedding | Southold, NY

You know when you meet a couple that you know deep in your heart will be together forever? Or should I say, trouple? That’s Cara and Mike and Maddie the Poo. This was one of those fairytale weddings that we photographers dream about. I had the extreme pleasure of meeting these three beautiful beings at the Planting Fields Arboretum on Long Island where we photographed their engagement shoot . Maddie tried to steal the show but she couldn’t outshine Cara’s beauty which radiates from within. (you’re cute too, Mike!). Their Peconic Bay Yacht Club wedding (to see another wedding from PBYC, check out the wedding of Kate and Ian that I shot at this North Fork venue in a torrential downpour) perfectly suited their love of Long Island, water, and family and friends. In the lobby of the venue they had photos from each of our family’s weddings, Cara’s mom as a bride, her parents wedding, Mike’s Parents and our grandparents, a blue bottle in which guests could place messages that they will read on their first anniversary, and super cool strawberry jam favors from Leanne’s Specialty Cake with the same jam that was inside one of their cakes. And I looooove her boho Marchesa gown and flowy Ava Flora bouquet. Dreamy.
