Built by the Beneteau  Company between 2005 and 2009, this boat from the Oceanis  series is ideal for offshore long-distance cruises and provides luxury and comfort, combined with outstanding performance.

It boasts an exterior design with elegant and sleek lines. Large windows. A teak wood deck. A long and spacious cockpit. The cockpit features twin helms, with a navigation console on the table. The sugar scoop stern can be accessed from the aft bench seat and a retractable ladder allows water access. The table is between two large benches.

Inside, the welcoming ambiance features rich, warm woodwork and an elegant design. A galley is located on the portside. With its 2 meter headroom, the very large and spacious saloon is ideal for up to 12 persons. There is a great deal of stowage space available.

The Oceanis 50 is available in 2 versions:

1 version with 2 cabins and 2 bathrooms. 1 version with 3 cabins and 2 bathrooms.

Performance: with a sail area of 120m2 upwind and 213 m2 downwind, this boat can reach a cruising speed of 10 knots while providing the utmost comfort.

BENETEAU: A LONG STORY THAT BEGAN IN 1884 

The first BENETEAU boats sailed from the shipyards of Croix-de-Vie over 136 years ago. Since that time, the BENETEAU brand has been synonymous with quality and innovation to all those who have taken to the water – first by the fishermen who made their livelihood from the sea and then by the legions of recreational boaters around the globe.

And the list of innovations in hull design and navigation continues to grow at a rapidly increasing pace.

In North America, we might be considered by some to be a late-comer to the powerboat market, but in fact, we’ve always been a major force in it. As with most things, we have our founder, Benjamin BENETEAU, to thank. He was one of the first to put a petrol engine on his fishing trawlers in the early 1900s, thus changing the French commercial fishing fleet forever.

His successors found that power was a perfect fit for the bold, new hull materials they were pioneering in the ’60s. Since then, new technologies in propulsion have always found their way aboard a BENETEAU first, and power has long been part of our equation for success.
