The Cachalote Explorer has a large salon & dining area with multiple large deck areas for relaxing, eating and socializing.

GALAPAGOS ISLANDS

The Boat Experience

Cruising through the Galapagos offers travelers the unique experience of visiting many areas of the archipelago that are only accessible by a live aboard boat. This really is the only way to truly appreciate the Galapagos wildlife, both on land and in the water. Each day guests awaken in a new part of the islands and disembark shortly after breakfast for the morning activities, which include a walk or hike on land followed by a snorkeling excursion. After lunch the boat moves to a new visitor site and during this time guests have the opportunity to rest and look for whales and dolphins from deck . Later in the afternoon the guests disembark for another nature walk, and perhaps another opportunity to snorkel and swim.

The Cachalote Explorer is a 16 passenger small ship; this small exclusive group sizes ensures that our passengers are able to gain access to all the best visitor sites, some of which are closed to the bigger cruise ships.
