If you are not comfortable having a renter drive your boat, we have an expansive network of licensed and experienced captains. Once your boat is listed, you can filter through our network of captains and favorite captains in your area that you would like to operate your boat.

5 stars fir Carlos he outfitted our large group with a combination of double and single kayaks. We had a great time, the dock is very easy to push off from, the life jackets fit fine and the boats are smooth and easy to navigate. They are not strict about the time either and you can go a little over without incurring extra charges. They also have maps for newbs.

What a great way to get out and see the Harbor! We made reservations for a Sunday afternoon and upon arrival, we were instantly taken care of. Life jackets for the littles, and a quick tutorial for driving the boat and we were off! We cruised the Oxnard Harbor for an hour. The cost was $75 (up to 8) per hour. An hour went quick and next time we would go for 2 hours. Lots to see while cruising along. Our kids loved seeing the seals and waving to boats. Nothing like a nice day on the water. Hopper's staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and will be back to explore more of the harbor.

Staff is very accommodating and very nice super helpful. So easy making the reservation and checking in was easy and pleasant. We rented boat for 1 hour on Mother's Day and brought food. They gave all the Mothers a single rose when we were done with our boat ride.

We took the big electric boat out on our last vacation, and it was so much fun! My gf booked the reservation and paid for it online via phone. Such a relaxing time with multiple families fitting on one boat! The kids all got life jackets and we got the two hour journey. Very fun place to explore and the man at the dock was very helpful and kind. Highly recommend!

We were so happy with our electric boat rental!! We called ahead to reserve the small one for 4 of us + our little dog-it seats up to 8 for $75/hour. No deposit required... Was a perfect day for putting around the harbor! The boat only goes like 5 mph haha! Very comfortable! We brought some drinks and munchies too! Lost track of time and while we went a little over 2 hrs he only charged us for the 2 I am definitely returning! They have everything here! Hydra bikes, kayaks, large electric boats that seats up to 12 bringing tge whole family next time yesss!

Rented a 1-8 person electric boat but then last minute needed the 1-12. They were super accommodating and flexible. The customer service was great! They provided maps and clear instructions on where to go and how to operate. The boat was nice and clean and fully charged. We will definitely be back! 10/10 recommend Hopper Boats!

Came here twice (last year and just the other day) during our visit to Channel Islands Harbor and consistently Hopper provides friendly service and quick/easy electric boat rentals for the family to enjoy. Highly recommend for a fun activity when in this area (being a cooler/picnic basket too!)

Yes. We use a system called Cognito to ensure that payment information matches the renter's identity. We also require renters taking out a captained boat to be at least 18 years old and on a bareboat to be at least 25 years old.

Is listing my boat on Boatsetter free?

Yes! Listing a boat is completely free. We only take a commission when your boat is rented. We only make money when you do!

What if I'm not comfortable having a renter drive my boat?

If you are not comfortable having a renter drive your boat, we have an expansive network of licensed and experienced captains. Once your boat is listed, you can filter through our network of captains and favorite captains in your area that you would like to operate your boat.
