While she has been consistently maintained on an annual basis, her recent multi-million dollar refit has completely revolutionized the yacht while still maintaining her rock ‘n’ roll identity . No detail was overlooked, from her mechanical, engineering and IT elements to the entire interior and exterior aesthetic. KING BABY promises an extraordinary charter experience, leaving each guest who steps onboard completely satisfied with the ultimate level of 7-star service, entertainment and comfort. KING BABY is fitted with all the style, luxury and sophistication of a 2023 yacht, ensuring each guest that charters is getting top-of-the-line amenities.

Both the exterior and interior were designed by the renowned Evan K. Marshall, who used aesthetic themes to create a lusciously contemporary luxury yacht. Every piece of fabric onboard the KING BABY was replaced and updated, including the replacement of her outside cushions on the sofas and chairs with new foam and covers. Her revolutionized interior offers modern elegance mixed with unrivaled comfort and features brand-new carpeting and overhead panels throughout her entire interior. This tri-deck yacht is both tall and beam-y with a four-fin “At Rest” stabilizer system making KING BABY extremely stable at anchor and underway. Her exterior spaces are expansive and well-suited for entertaining and socializing. The main deck aft has a covered dining area; as does the upper deck, with a variety of seating spaces. This area is air-conditioned as well. Forward on the upper deck are built-in seating and sunpads. The sundeck has a Jacuzzi with a three-tier cascading waterfall and swim-up bar, a variety of seating areas, three TVs and a large onyx bar.

The sexy rock ‘n’ roll-inspired interior is unlike that of any other yacht. From Keith Richards’ doors to custom coffee tables to vintage hood ornaments, guitars used as art and other impressive decorative pieces, there is so much to behold. The alluring indoor spaces are comfortable, with an edge of modern seduction. The owners spent months curating classic rock photography, which is showcased throughout the yacht. The ideal charter yacht for groups of friends ready to let the good times roll, this yacht has both sass and style. Her most recent refit also brought the addition of stunning white hardwood flooring in the formal dining area, offering a cool contrast to her interior design.

KING BABY has five luxurious staterooms. Guests will sleep in complete luxury and comfort, courtesy of all-new linens in each stateroom. With naval architecture by Hydrotec, superyacht KING BABY has been designed by REDS from Italy, with interior design by Evan K. Marshall. The yacht's interior from the main living areas, to the guest accommodation, is elegantly timeless. Her main salon features a plush lounge suite with custom designed coffee tables, easily seating all 12 guests in comfort. On the port side is a white onyx bar with custom oversized leather chairs. In a contemporary open plan, the formal dining area is set forward of the lounge, offering a Zebrawood table, flanked by white chairs and illuminated by a custom glass chandelier.

Her upper sky lounge is well-appointed offering a generous U shaped sofa, coffee table and white granite wet bar with seating. Custom art from iconic music artists is etched into a glass door, which conceals the large wine fridge. Throughout the yachts interior and exterior are state-of-the-art audio and visual systems, ensuring optimum entertainment. Views from the salon and sky lounge are limitless thanks to panoramic windows. Guest accommodation includes a full-beam master suite on the main deck, along with two double and two twin cabins with Pullmans on the lower deck. She is managed by an impeccable crew of 9.

KING BABY Specifications

The exterior living is well-appointed over 3 spacious and carefully designed decks, ideal for both casual and formal entertaining and relaxing. On the main aft deck are an alfresco dining table, additional seating and wet bar. This deck leads directly into the main salon, while also providing effortless access to the extended swim platform and a great assortment of water toys. An upper deck is adjacent to the sky lounge, with a further alfresco dining option and exterior lounge. Forward of the yacht’s bridge is a spacious seating area, with umbrellas for shade, along with a large sun pad. The sundeck on the 3rd level is capacious and perfect for any social occasion. Here guests can dine alfresco under the stars, enjoy a cool cocktail from the wet bar, take a dip in the deluxe Jacuzzi, or soak up the sun on the sun pads and chaise loungers. The 140ft superyacht KING BABY is powered by twin MTU 12V 4000 M73L engines giving her a maximum speed of 21 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots. She is built to RINA Charter Class.

The 43.89m (144′) yacht KING BABY for Charter accommodates 10 Guests in 5 Staterooms. Delivered in 2016 and refitted in 2023, she is one of the world’s finest 45-meter ocean-going Yachts.

Her interior has has an amazing volume with beautiful art pieces. The Master Stateroom has expansive views, walk-around king size bed. On the lower deck there are 3 Guest Staterooms and 2 additional spacious VIP Staterooms that feature walk around king beds, ample closet space and a 48” entertainment system. The third Guest Stateroom features 2 twin beads, 2 additional pullman beds drop down from the ceiling.

The interior of the IAG Yachts-built KING BABY motor yacht is designed by Evan K. Marshall, who had some assistance from the yacht’s namesake, the King Baby jewellery brand and Slick Design.

The result is something you’ve never seen on a luxury superyacht before. Expect to see vintage rock photography and quotes adorning the walls and famous rockstars on the doors.

Five cabins will accommodate 10 guests during your KING BABY yacht charter. The full-beam master suite comes with his ‘n’ hers en suite and a bathtub and shower. The rest of the party will sleep across three king-size cabins and a spacious twin cabin below deck.

The sky lounge on the KING BABY yacht boasts a mega sound system and an 84-inch television to create the ultimate cinematic experience.

The open-plan main salon offers multiple zones for you to enjoy, from the relaxed sofas to the sit-up bar and the formal dining area. The large glass sliding doors connect it to the main deck aft, where you’ll find a covered alfresco dining table and an exterior lounge overlooking the stern.

The sun deck of the KING BABY is where you’ll probably spend the most time. You can sit at the bar or around the Jacuzzi while you sip a drink and take a dip when you want to relax further. Head forward to enjoy a more casual meal at the table and take your coffee to the forward sofas to savour it while you absorb the views. When you want to sunbathe, you’ll find sunpads behind the Jacuzzi and multiple sun loungers on the aft of the sun deck. And if you're planning to keep active, you can get out the assortment of dumbbells, resistance bands, yoga mats and more for an alfresco workout.

Toys and Crew

A crew of nine will supervise your KING BABY yacht charter.

You can chuck yourself down the waterslide, which will take you from the sun deck straight into the ocean within seconds. When you’re in the water, you can head to the floating pool that’s protected by a net or don the snorkelling gear to follow the reef.

For more high-action fun, you can play with the wave runners, JetLev, lift flyboard, wakeboard, kneeboard or water skis. There’s also a towable tube to enjoy—or you can head out on the paddle boards if you prefer to take it at your own pace. When you need some shade, the inflatable awnings will offer protection.

Inside, large windows flood the yacht with natural light, setting off the impeccable timber work and cool, contemporary décor. using ornate finishes and materials in her décor and lavish, original art works. In white leather, beige, silver and blue, furnishings are sumptuous and extravagant, while mirrored ceilings and gloss timber panelling set a seductive tone.

Perfectly equipped for entertaining, luxury motor yacht KING BABY boasts several exterior spaces for dining, socialising and relaxing. The main aft deck has a magnificent dining table and chairs, while the upper deck provide a second covered dining area, built-in seating and sunpads.

King Charles too ‘busy’ to meet with Prince Harry during upcoming London trip

King Charles may be too “busy” to meet with his youngest son, Prince Harry, when he flies to London next week.

The Telegraph reported on Monday that, despite not seeing each other for the last two months, it’s still unknown if Charles’ schedule will allow him to meet up with Harry. And if he does, it will be brief.

The outlet further commented that if he is able to, the King will make time for the California-based royal, who will be in town to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games at St. Paul’s Cathedral on May 8.

Per the Telegraph, the King’s busy schedule includes his weekly audience with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, as well as the first Buckingham Palace garden party of the season and previous engagements.

Harry, 39, will be returning to the UK for the first time since early February when he flew in shortly after the King announced his cancer diagnosis.

On Feb. 10, Buckingham Palace revealed that the monarch, 75, was undergoing treatment for an unnamed cancer.

“His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties,” their statement read.

The Duke of Sussex saw his father at Clarence House for under an hour before returning stateside the following day.

Harry later told “Good Morning America” that he was grateful for being able to drop everything to see his father.

“Look, I love my family,” the Duke of Sussex said. “The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”

Page Six exclusively reported that the King may invite Harry and his family to Balmoral Castle this summer in an attempt to mend fences and see his grandchildren, who he has only seen on a handful of occasions.

For the last couple of years, Charles and Harry have had a fractured relationship, which was exacerbated by the publication of the latter’s tell-all memoir “ Spare ” in 2022.

There is no word on whether Harry will see Prince William, whom he has been feuding with for years.

In fact, Harry reportedly found out about his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis from a television report.

Soon after, he and Markle released a statement saying, “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family.”

Stephen King surrenders to Baby Reindeer: One of the best shows I've ever seen

The writer was blown away by the new Netflix series.

N etflix has pulled the rabbit out of the hat again in the form of TV show Baby Reindeer . A black-comedy thriller, it has become one of the great successes of the streaming platform of 2024 and one person swept up in the hype is Stephen King , who offers rare praise to the series.

The show echoes one of King 's most famous works, Misery, as the protagonist is stalked by a woman after he offered her a small gesture of kindness, with the woman becoming increasingly deranged and dangerous.

King offered rare praise to the British mini-series, notorious for being highly critical of television and movies as he took to X.com, formerly Twitter, to write, "BABY REINDEER: Holy s**t."

King added, "Like 13.3 million other Netflix subscribers, I gave it a try and found myself sucked in, unable to look away. My first thought was to thank God that my novel came out first, or people would assume I had stolen it from Richard Gadd , who wrote and produced all seven episodes.

"Unlike most streaming series episodes, which can feel somewhat bloated at 50 minutes, or even longer, the episodes of Baby Reindeer are each about 30 minutes, are like short, quick stabs administered by a very sharp knife."

How has Baby Reindeer been received?

Obviously, if Stephen King likes it then it has to be good. As one of the greatest writers of all time in the genres of horror and thriller with famous works such as IT, Misery, Gerald's Game and The Shining , he knows what he's talking about and reserves praise for rare moments.

But how has the public responded? It's not uncommon for the perception of critics and authors to wildly differ from the reception of the audiences, who often want to be entertained rather than wowed by the technical aspects of a production.

On this front, Baby Reindeer has nothing to worry about. Critics of insane praise with the show possessing 97% and 87% scores on Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic, whilst fans have flocked to see the show on Netflix.

Across one weekend it rose from 10.4 million hours viewed to 52.8 million, highlighting the explosion of popularity.

‘Baby Reindeer’ tells a different kind of stalking story

Fans searching for the show’s real-life culprit helped make it a phenomenon, but its stars wish the sleuths would stop

“I had a convicted stalker stalking me. I had a convicted stalker stalking me. I had a convicted stalker stalking … me. ”

An admission that turns from fear to fascination sets the stage for “Baby Reindeer,” Netflix’s darkly comedic psychological thriller based on the experiences of its writer, creator and star, Richard Gadd. The seven-episode series follows Donny (Gadd), a struggling comedian who lives with his ex-girlfriend’s mom and works a dead-end job at a London pub. His life takes a chilling turn when he befriends Martha (Jessica Gunning), a mentally ill woman whose dangerous obsession with him manifests through harassment, assault and a relentless stream of lewd, typo-ridden emails.

“Baby Reindeer” has triggered online buzz — Stephen King called it “one of the best things I’ve ever seen” — and hit the top of Netflix’s Top 10 list shortly after its April 11 premiere, with 22 million views in its third week.

It has also inspired a wave of internet sleuthing from viewers obsessed with identifying the real-life Martha and other people behind the show’s characters, despite Gadd’s pleas that they stop.

The armchair-investigating speaks to the show’s power and popularity — many have praised “Baby Reindeer” for its nuanced portrayal of harassment and sexual abuse. It also reflects the show’s inherent tensions in an era of true-crime obsessives: a fictionalized depiction of real events that asks viewers to pay attention to emotional truths, not the creator’s biography.

The Style section

Over three years, according to Gadd , a woman sent him more than 40,000 emails, 350 hours of voice mail, 744 tweets, 46 Facebook messages across four fake accounts and 106 pages of letters. She allegedly stalked him outside of his home, his workplace and during his shows at comedy clubs, and harassed his parents and a trans woman he was dating at the time.

The experience gave way to “Baby Reindeer,” which began as a hit one-man theater show in London, eventually catching Netflix’s attention. Both the stage and TV versions explore how sexual assault can perpetuate a cycle of abuse. While Martha is the aggressor, the show gradually peels back layers of Donny’s personality, revealing his own mental health issues that arguably enable Martha’s behavior throughout the series.

“Self-blame is a natural by-product of getting harassed, stalked, abused,” Gadd said in a 2019 interview with the Independent. “Because what’s happening to you is fundamentally irrational.”

Gadd’s real-life comedy career dates back to 2013, when the Scottish writer began performing shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland. The festival embraced his weird and subversive brand of comedy, Gadd, 34, said in a recent interview with the Guardian.

His gripping stand-up show “Monkey See Monkey Do” set a new trajectory for Gadd’s career . The performance, which debuted at the Edinburgh Festival in 2016, recounted his experience of sexual assault by a successful TV writer who had preyed on Gadd’s ambitions. “It was pre-#MeToo; sexual assault wasn’t really in the public consciousness, and male sexual assault particularly wasn’t,” he told the Guardian. The performance was a triumph, winning the Edinburgh Comedy Award — and emboldening Gadd’s real-life stalker, he said, who began harassing him a year earlier.

Several times over the course of the Netflix show, Gadd’s character, Donny, confronts his growing and seemingly contradictory attachment to Martha, who is depicted as volatile, but also funny, lonely and self-loathing.

Gadd told Netflix’s Tudum publication that he deliberately tried to deviate from common TV depictions of stalking, which are often reduced to dark alleys and sexualized culprits who gradually become more unhinged.

“I really wanted to show the layers of stalking with a human quality I hadn’t seen on television before,” Gadd said. The series “shows the messier side of stalking, the side that isn’t necessarily black and white.”

That has struck a chord with viewers, who have praised it for its complicated depictions. “One thing I like about Baby Reindeer is the fact that it accurately depicts how complex the effects of abuse are,” one X user said .

Jeffrey Ingold, a freelance journalist who served as an LGBTQ+ consultant for the show, praised “Baby Reindeer” for not shying away from harrowing and complicated depictions of grooming and rape.

“Since it aired, I’ve been inundated with messages from gay and bi men telling me how hard they found it to watch,” Ingold wrote in a recent op-ed . “Rarely has a show portrayed a male victim of sexual assault with such grit and realism.”

“Baby Reindeer,” like other shows and films based on real-life experiences, takes some liberties. Gadd said his stalking experience is real, as is the sexual abuse he experienced at the hands of his mentor, as is his romantic relationship with a trans woman.

But some details of the show have been fictionalized. Donny has an onstage breakdown that goes viral in the latter half of the series, which never happened to Gadd. Donny’s comedy, relying on loud tartan suits and a suitcase full of props, doesn’t reflect Gadd’s own earlier work (which the Guardian once described as “too lurid” and “crude”). Timelines have been compressed and reworked for greater dramatic effect.

Gadd said he also tried to create some distance between the characters in “Baby Reindeer” and the people they’re based on. Of Martha, Gadd told the Guardian: “We’ve gone to such great lengths to disguise her to the point that I don’t think she would recognize herself.”

Some viewers have tried to puzzle the pieces together nonetheless, provoking denials, threats of lawsuits and pleas from Gadd to stop the speculation.

“People I love, have worked with, and admire (including Sean Foley) are unfairly getting caught up in speculation,” Gadd wrote on Instagram last month, after social media users incorrectly accused writer and director Sean Foley of being the inspiration for the abusive character Darrien.

Gunning, who plays Martha, told BBC Scotland that she found the sleuthing “quite sad” and “not the point of the show at all.”

“If you like the show and you are a fan of it,” Gunning said, “you should stick with the story of Martha and Donny being what connects you, not trying to do any detective work and find out any real identities.”
