75-foot Millennium motoryacht Remember When

Broker Mark Elliott at International Yacht Collection has just listed the 75-foot Millennium Remember When for sale at an asking price of $895,000.

“ Remember When was built by two of the most experienced yachtsmen in the world,” Elliot says. “John Staluppi and John Rosatti chose to build this project with Dutch pedigree, and the culmination of their experience turned out this fast and comfortable yacht. With two main salons and two large master suites,_ Remember When_ feels like a much larger yacht. Her wide beam lends to great stability, and the opening sunroof is great feature.”

Remember When is a 2001 build with a cruising speed of 30 knots and a top speed of 36 knots. She is American-flagged and lying in Palm Beach, Florida, where she is being marketed as immediately available with turnkey delivery to a new owner.

Six guests are accommodated in three staterooms, including a master with a full-size whirlpool bath. Remember When is designed for entertaining, with upper and lower salons as well as a large open deck.

New paint and soft goods were recently added, and the helm includes a full suite of Radio Holland electronics.

This 2001 Neptunus 75 Millennium is represented by Galati Yacht Sales, Tampa, Fl. This highly customized 75 Neptunus Millennium is truly a one of a kind custom yacht. She is a three stateroom, three head express yacht with spacious accommodations and comfortable living are. The interior has had recent upgrades that include oak wall paneling, hardwood flooring, upgraded TV’s and Bose audio system, NEW Garmin electronics, and custom soft goods. As you enter the salon through the curved stainless sliding doors, you will be struck by the open floor plan with large couch to port and the custom credenza to starboard with the 60" Samsung TV. Custom window treatments provide privacy and elegance. Overhead are two opening skylights with exterior covers. Forward to starboard is the helm station with twin helm chairs and NEW Garmin electronics and excellent visibility. Opposite the helm station is L-Shaped dinette with excellent visibility and comfort.

Below deck is the lower salon with a huge U-shaped sofa to starboard and the modern galley to port with all new appliances and breakfast bar. The custom decor features oak wall paneling, hardwood floors and custom window treatments and 46” flat screen TV. The lower salon affords the owners privacy and a second area to entertain family and guest.

Forward is the VIP stateroom with ensuite head with separate shower stall, centerline queen size berth and 32” TV. The décor is upscale in every respect. The Master Stateroom is located mid-ship and is full beam with ensuite head and Jacuzzi tub. Plenty of storage and closet space with his and hers closets. The dressing area with vanity is located to starboard and loveseat to port. Night tables on each side of the queen size berth and custom memory foam mattress provide maximum comfort for the owners.

The third stateroom is located to starboard and features upper and lower single berths as well as a built in desk. The stateroom can also serve as an office or navigation station and also has an ensuite head.

Outside is a spacious cockpit with large curved settee and table. This area is protected by a custom sunshade, removable cockpit carpeting, wet bar, electric grill and refrigerator. Port and starboard steps lead down to the huge swim platform where a watertight door on the transom leads to the crew quarters and engine room. Custom staple rails are installed along the aft edge of the swim platform for safety.

Wide side decks provide safe and easy access forward to the huge fordeck. Two chaise lounge chairs and umbrella provide and excellent place to relax and enjoy your harborage. Powered by upgrade MTU V12 2000 diesels, 1350hp each, the engine room is clean and well designed for serviceability. The engine room is accessed from the crew quarters though a water tight door. Excellent lighting and easy access to all machinery and equipment.

Fire rescue responds to Key Biscayne Yacht Club after shark bite report

KEY BISCAYNE, Fla. – Fire rescue personnel treated a shark-related injury on Thursday in Key Biscayne.

Fire rescue personnel wanted to take the person from the Key Biscayne Yacht Club to the hospital, but the person refused.

The person was injured in the leg.

Investigation found that Clarence Thomas took free yacht, helicopter trips in Russia: Democrats

A Senate Judiciary Committee investigation found that conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas failed to disclose at least 35 luxury gifts, including a free yacht trip to Russia and a private helicopter to a palace in St. Petersburg, Vladimir Putin's hometown, Sens. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., and Ron Wyden, D-Or., said  in a letter  to Attorney General Merrick Garland.

The letter raised the "serious possibility of tax fraud" and accused Thomas of having "secretly accepted gifts and income potentially worth millions of dollars," mostly from billionaire real estate developer Harlan Crow, who Thomas once described as being among his "dearest friends." Buried in appendix list on page 14 are the references to the Russia trips, which took place in 2003. Other gifts from Crow include "multiple instances of free private jet travel, yacht travel, and lodging," "gifts of tuition for Justice Thomas's grandnephew," "real estate transactions," "home renovations," and "free rent for Justice Thomas's mother."

“The Senate is not a prosecutorial body, and the Supreme Court has no fact-finding function of its own, making the executive role all the more important if there is ever to be any complete determination of the facts,” the letter reads.

After a bombshell ProPublica report last year that revealed the extent of Thomas' financial ties with Crow and attempts to hide it, Thomas admitted to taking three trips on a private plane owned by Crow, but did not disclose any of the other gifts.

The senators are asking Garland to launch a special counsel investigation into Thomas, with the evidence collected so far "plainly suggest[ing] that Justice Thomas has committed numerous willful violations of federal ethics and false-statement laws and raises significant questions about whether he and his wealthy benefactors have complied with their federal tax obligations."

In a separate move on Wednesday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and a group of fellow progressives filed articles of impeachment against Thomas and Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito for failing to disclose "millions of dollars in gifts from individuals with business before the court."
