The WIDER 170’s interior configuration is flexible and has been designed to maximize comfort for her guests. There is a strong focus on blending the interior spaces with the sea, courtesy of the expansive windows. The central position of the engine room guarantees a unique layout with spacious accommodation and living areas. With close proximity to the aft beach club and lower-deck spa area, the main salon is the central locale for guests to gather. Her wheelhouse is characterized by an ultra-advanced island dashboard that offers optimal visibility and control of the maneuvering operations.

With configurations for up to 14 guests, the WIDER 170 offers absolute privacy for each guest onboard. The sweeping full-beam owner’s suite is forward on the main deck boasting 80sqm of living space complemented by a private terrace overlooking the sea. This is a true haven of relaxation and opulence with the finest interior finishes and furnishings. The standard layout offers four spacious cabins on the lower deck, all with the same standard of luxury as the master. The lower deck allows for custom arrangements with the possibility of up to six guest cabins. A large spa/cinema/gym area can be accessed from the main salon adding an additional element of customization. Nine crewmembers are welcome in four generous double crew cabins plus a Captain’s cabin.

With up to 360sqm of exterior living spaces, the WIDER 170 has put alfresco living at the forefront. At the bow, a protected garage houses a Jet Ski and 18’ (5.5m) tender that can be easily deployed by the built-in crane. The upper deck offers a peaceful lounging and sunbathing area, which can be converted into a touch-and-go helicopter platform when needed. Aft on the upper deck guests will find a generous alfresco dining space. The yacht’s sundeck has an impressive area of 85sqm that can be configured to offer total privacy or dedicated to entertainment with a lounge, bar and dining area.

Centro stile WIDER, has penned the exterior and the interior of this sleek and masculine superyacht, built entirely in aluminium. The project is the natural evolution of her predecessor W165’, merging and improving all the distinctive features of the WIDER world. External living spaces reach 360 sqm. The large windows guarantee the maximum visibility of the sea and surroundings in the main and upper salons. The internal layout is totally flexible and can accommodate an arrangement with up to six cabins plus the owner’s cabin of 80 sqm. The beach club, in its operational opened state, creates a huge platform at water level of more than 90 sqm. The wheelhouse is characterized by a hyper-technological island dash-board, which offers a perfect view and control of the manoeuvring operations.

The  WIDER beach club  is certainly one of the characterizing and distinctive elements of our yachts. With the compact engine room positioned centrally, the arrangement offers a unique layout with huge guests and living spaces. The main deck saloon with its large windows is closely connected to the aft beach club area and the spa area on the lower deck. The  owner’s cabin  is located forward on the main deck and extends to the full width, offering an  80sqm area  and a  private and exclusive terrace  overlooking the sea. The  standard layout  on the lower deck has  four very spacious cabins , plus a large spa/cinema/gym area with direct access from the main deck saloon. The 499 GT cruiser is able to accommodate up to 12 guests in six staterooms and a crew of nine. The layout is exactly the same as the 163 to ensure consistency. The 170 reportedly features elegant interiors conceived by acclaimed Italian studio Hot Lab, though there are no images of the living quarters to share just yet.

Similarly, Bilgin has not specified the propulsion system, but claims the superyacht will be able to cover approximately 5,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots and soar to a top speed of roughly 16 knots.

“We are thrilled to unveil the Bilgin 170, a stunning yacht that represents the pinnacle of design and craftsmanship,” Bilgin Yachts CEO İsmail Şengün said in a statement. “Emrecan Özgün’s innovative approach and Hot Lab’s impeccable interior design have resulted in a vessel that exudes sportiness and elegance, elevating the yacht experience to new heights.”

The Turkish shipyard has delivered two Bilgin 163 hulls to date and has two Bilgin 170s in the pipeline. The first unit is expected to hit the seas by the end of 2024, while the second example is slated for delivery in 2025. There are also three other superyachts currently under construction at Bilgin’s facilities, including a 282-footer, a 263-footer , and a 243-footer. Just imagine all the extra space on that trio.

First unit in 52m Bilgin 170 series completes technical launch

Turkish shipyard Bilgin Yachts has announced the technical launch of the first Bilgin 170. The 52-metre model will now enter her final outfitting, commissioning and sea trials, with delivery scheduled for the end of 2024.

Bilgin 170 is a collaboration between Unique Yacht Design and Hot Lab and is based on the Bilgin 163 – one of which is the 50-metre Eternal Spark , which was launched this month .

This model offers an identical layout to the Bilgin 163, but has more space and a more traditional bow design. The bridge deck has been extended by one and a half metres, the bow offers an additional relaxation area once the rescue boat is deployed and an extended swim platform offers a larger space at the water's edge. Bilgin 170 also features "one of the largest sundecks in this size range", equipped with an eight-person Jacuzzi, a dining area and bar.

Accommodation is for up to 12 guests and nine crew, with the owner's cabin situated on the bridge deck.

"The primary goal during the design process was to optimise the 50-metre models, achieving a more sporty and masculine look while blending the design to offer customers the ability to utilise both open and enclosed spaces under 500 gross tons," explained Emrecan Özgün of Unique Yacht Design. "This focus on functionality and aesthetics has resulted in a yacht that truly stands out from the crowd."

According to BOATPro , there are eleven other yachts currently under construction at the Turkish shipyard, including three Bilgin 173s and three Bilgin 170s.

This follows the interior reveal of the first vessel to emerge from Bilgin's Antalya facility – the 41.9-metre explorer Kaşif .

The WIDER 170 is a sleek and masculine superyacht with captivating lines, a unique hybrid yacht offering little impact on the environment with attention to sustainability. While in Zero Emission Mode, she can cruise, moor or rest using only the battery packs or up to two inline diesel generators. The yacht promises greater reliability courtesy of her electric motors. The Power Management system ensures that generators are only used when required, keeping engine hours at a minimum and reducing standard maintenance which in turn increases the time between overhauls. The WIDER 170’s interior configuration is flexible and has been designed to maximize comfort for her guests. There is a strong focus on blending the interior spaces with the sea, courtesy of the expansive windows. The central position of the engine room guarantees a unique layout with spacious accommodation and living areas. With close proximity to the aft beach club and lower-deck spa area, the main salon is the central locale for guests to gather. Her wheelhouse is characterized by an ultra-advanced island dashboard that offers optimal visibility and control of the maneuvering operations. With configurations for up to 14 guests, the WIDER 170 offers absolute privacy for each guest onboard. The sweeping full-beam owner’s suite is forward on the main deck boasting 80sqm of living space complemented by a private terrace overlooking the sea. This is a true haven of relaxation and opulence with the finest interior finishes and furnishings. The standard layout offers four spacious cabins on the lower deck, all with the same standard of luxury as the master. The lower deck allows for custom arrangements with the possibility of up to six guest cabins. A large spa/cinema/gym area can be accessed from the main salon adding an additional element of customization. Nine crewmembers are welcome in four generous double crew cabins plus a Captain’s cabin. With up to 360sqm of exterior living spaces, the WIDER 170 has put alfresco living at the forefront. At the bow, a protected garage houses a Jet Ski and 18’ (5.5m) tender that can be easily deployed by the built-in crane. The upper deck offers a peaceful lounging and sunbathing area, which can be converted into a touch-and-go helicopter platform when needed. Aft on the upper deck guests will find a generous alfresco dining space. The yacht’s sundeck has an impressive area of 85sqm that can be configured to offer total privacy or dedicated to entertainment with a lounge, bar and dining area. One of the most distinctive elements of the WIDER 170 is her awe-inspiring beach club. When opened, it creates a huge platform at water level measuring more than 90sqm. From the main salon via a rounded pocket sliding door, guests have direct access to the beach club area. Other notable features include a custom infinity pool aft and an expansive indoor/outdoor dining area. The Gala Opening Ceremony of the 5th International exhibition Moscow Boat Show was held on March 20 in the lobby of the first pavilion Crocus Expo IEC. The trade fair has demonstrated once again to be the largest project in Russia exhibiting the best products in the yachting segment.

The Moscow Boat Show is the own Crocus Expo IEC project and is supported by Aston Martin Moscow, Burevestnik Group logistics department and the Yachting specialized magazine.

The exposition space increased up to 30 000 sq m and was accommodated in all 4 exhibition halls of the fairgrounds! 280 Russian (Arkhangelsk, Vyborg, Kazan, Kaluga, Republic of Karelia, Moscow and Moscow region, Nizhny Novgorod, Novorossiysk, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St. Petersburg, Sverdlovsk region, Sochi, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen and Yaroslavl region) and foreign ( Denmark , Germany , Holland , Greece , Spain , Italy , Cyprus , China , Latvia , Poland , USA , Turkey , Ukraine, Finland , France , Montenegro and Croatia ) companies participated in the show.

Moscow Boat Show 2012

Arcady Zlotnikov, First Deputy Director Crocus Expo IEC, was traditionally the first to take the floor at the official opening ceremony. He greeted warmly exhibitors, guests and visitors of Moscow Boat Show. Nikolay Krjuchek, Deputy Chief of the State Inspection on Small size Vessels (GIMS) of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Russia, Georguiy Shaiduko,Acting President of the Russian Yachting Federation (VFPS), Olympic champion in Atlanta, and Ekaterina Grishechkina, Director of exhibition Moscow Boat Show also spoke at the ceremony.

The high-ranking guests noted dynamic development of the branch which well reasons the intensive growth of the exposition and appearance of rather unique articles.

The visitors for the first time had an opportunity to purchase 19-meter boats, private submarines, Jetlev-Flyers from MS Watersports and also rare yachts and boats.

The questions-and-answers session was organized for the journalists after the ceremony. Mass media representatives could communicate directly with organizers of the exhibition and top officials of the Russian yachting.
