Built in 1980 by Thackwray Yachts which was the original renowned Alloy Yachts yard Yonder Star is an NZ original. Since her delivery in the 80's she has been completely rebuilt in 1999 and again fully refurbished in 2003. Yonder Star is meticulously maintained and features lavish interiors.

Step inside from the deck and enter the Ralph Lauren upholstered wheelhouse and upper lounge. Direct access from the wheelhouse to the aft, full beam master suite with large ensuite and additional double twin cabin perfect for children or additional accommodation - Come back up through the Ralph Lauren wheelhouse and down to the lower saloon with cosy lounging space and internal dining area. Continue forward to further accomodation, guests have the choice of a double cabin or spacious four berth bunk cabin.

Sailing yacht Yonder Star is the premier yacht for cruising within the New Zealand’s famed Hauraki Gulf and Bay Of Islands, as well as Fiji and Tonga. She accommodates 8 charter guests in 3 cabins and has a crew of 3.

NOTABLE FEATURES for YONDER STAR: Timeless interior decor ~ Excellent interior and exterior living areas ~ Long-range cruising capabilities ~ Assortment of water toys ~ Air conditioning.

Originally constructed in 1980 at the Thackwray yard in Auckland, New Zealand, in 1980 she was lengthened and completely rebuilt at a leading shipyard in Florida. She was further upgraded in 2003 after her return to New Zealand and has been continuously updated since. On deck, she is 87 feet long with a generous 22-foot beam. She can accommodate up to 8 charter guests. The yacht can cater to 28 guests for event charters.

Yonder Star is a gentlemen’s yacht with a classic interior of soft warm fabrics, craftsman finished teak joinery, indirect lighting and brass fittings. As well as the large cockpit she has two large interior living spaces: the raised pilothouse or the cozy lounge featuring separate dining and casual seating areas. The chef’s galley is able to produce a wide range of gourmet meals and numerous fridges and cabinets provide storage for extended voyages. She is fully air-conditioned with individual controls in each cabin, a music system throughout.

YONDER STAR Specifications

Generous deck spaces provide easy access around the entire vessel. Raised comings make her foredeck dry and secure and a unique, integral extending stair at the stern makes access back to the boat from the dingy or a swim easy and safe. The cockpit seats 12 people and a full awning means you can relax outside in any weather. Bean bags on the deck provide a great relaxing or reading space in the shade or the sun. LED spreader and boom lighting provides evening outside lighting. Deck showers, outdoor speakers and barbeque area complete the package.

Powered by a reliable gardener diesel, Yonder Star also has a 15ft center console tender with a 50HP outboard for transits and guest fun with skis, wakeboards or water biscuit available.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

A luxurious master cabin is to the stern with integrated lounge seating, library shelves and writing desk. A feature is the unique underwater porthole providing beautiful sunlight effects and views of passing sea life. Also to the stern of the pilothouse is a double cabin with separate pilot berth with an ensuite bathroom. Forward of the lounge area is another double cabin (and pilot berth) and a forepeak with 3 or 4 berths. The vessel has a total of 5 bathrooms for guests and crew have separate quarters. Throughout the boat are DVD televisions, iPod music stations and each cabin is separately air-conditioned.

This Sea Ray 510 FLY is the perfect combination of elegance, performance, and fun.

YONDER STAR is a remarkable sailing yacht that has been around for quite some time yet has still made herself stand out from the crowd. Having recently received a full refit, she has kept her iconic style and added some new features.

YONDER STAR can accommodate up to 8 charter guests overnight and a maximum of 28 charter guests when organising events. This includes a luxurious master cabin featuring a desk, library shelves, and seating area perfect to enjoy your time after a day in the ocean. The interior is split into two large living spaces with on the one hand a pilothouse and on the other hand a cozy lounge with dining and seating areas. Each cabin is fully air-conditioned and equipped with a music system. Guests will find a double cabin to the stern of the pilothouse with another double cabin next to the lounge area. In total, there are 2 bathrooms on board.

The entire yacht features large deck spaces which make her easy to access and walk around.  A total number of 12 guests have the possibility to sit on the cockpit seats and to enjoy dinner together.

YONDER STAR offers a large variety of tenders and water toys like wakeboard, kayaks, snorkel gear. In addition, she is equipped with an integrated Yamaha audio system, as well as a PlayStation.

This beautiful sailing yacht will bring you around New Zealand and Auckland, but also the beautiful Whitsunday coast of Australia . Heading further east, have an unforgettable cruising experience exploring the fantastic Hauraki Gulf and Bay of Islands like Fiji and Tanga.

This Sea Ray 510 FLY is the perfect combination of elegance, performance, and fun. 

She is packed with many upgrades such as drawer fridge/freezer, wine cooler, high gloss tables, cherry interior, wood floors, FLIR, stainless steel anchor, KVH TV3, Engine room and back up cameras, and teak cockpit decks. The full sunroof, bow cushions, cockpit dinette, and hydraulic platform give many places to enjoy outside activities. You can even expand your living space into the fresh air by fully opening the sliding door. If you prefer to be indoors, her lower helm and climate controlled fly bridge make her a delight to operate whether it be hot or cold. Her flybridge offers a full hardtop with 80" of head room, full enclosure, 3 air units, a Kenyon grill, sink, fridge, and 2 dinettes! The midship owners cabin boasts plentiful drawer space down each side of the room and a full walk around queen size bed. The additional 2 cabins allow for an additional 4 guests or even more storage space.

Her Cummins QSC 600's have her easily cruising at around 20-23kts. Wind and current are no problem with the joystick controlled zeus pod you can easily put her where she needs to go. Even at bridges or locks the skyhook feature will allow you to effortlessly hold her in place while you wait.

Pleasantly surprised, service is good so is the food. Great selection of Fusion food, a mixture of Italian, Japanese, European, Asian etc. A pleasantly nice dining experience, highly recommended, a must try!

Best food, best view in Moscow. absolutely faultless from arrival to finish. Best risotto i had for many years absolutely perfectly cooked. The view on Ukrainian hotel and the white house by night is amazing

Had to wait for the food for 1.5 hours and then another 20 minutes for the check. Finally called for the manager and he offered... a 10% discount as a compensation. Simply pathetic! The food is mediocre at best. Not bad per se, but one... would expect something better considering the prices. There are many places to eat in area that are much better. Avoid this one at all costs. Food is very expensive,very pretentious, doesn't worth that money. Portions are very small. We ordered ravioli and there were 4! Four raviolis! For almost 15 euros. Then we asked to bring us dessert menu but nothing, they didn't even bothered, so we payed and left... without dessert. Very poor service for that price. More

This is a very good restaurant. The food is really good, maybe the best in Moscow. The service is also good. The view from the restaurant is great. The prices are very high.

I often visit this restaurant and must say it’s one of the best in Moscow in terms of quality and service. Staff really try hard to make sure that you are happy and satisfied. Customer service is a huge problem in Moscow but Chaika sets... a great example for others in the industry! Food is delicious and the menu has lots of options for everyone! Visited this lovely restaurant with a friend of mine. It was relaxingly warm August evening - so the place on the river seemed like a good idea. We came quite early and the restaurant was not full. The hostesses kindly offered several places to sit... and we chose to sit on the sofas. We had some wine, which was good. We struggled a bit when deciding about the food as few options (scallops) were not available. Fish on ice on display did not look very fresh. To be honest it was an unusually hot August and it is probably understandable that some see food options were not available. However, we did manage to order something and sat waiting and looking onto the river. My long-legged friend struggled sitting at the low sofa and the manager noticed that, offering as a very good, proper table beside the open window. It was nice touch and I was very pleased by their polite observations and immediate reaction to solve the problem. Food was quite good and presentation was perfect. Perhaps I can something about the food, but 1 visit is not enough to criticize or make a definitive opinion. Overall, quality place, which of course, does not come cheap. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. More
