SAINT NICOLAS Yacht – $70M Superyacht

The $70 million superyacht, SAINT NICOLAS yacht, is a 70m luxury vessel. She was first commissioned as one of three yachts by Warren E Halle, an American entrepreneur.

She was designed by the prestigious design firm Espen Oeino International, with interior design by Zuretti Interior Design. She was delivered in 2008 from Lurssen’s German shipyard.

The interior of the SAINT NICOLAS yacht was penned by Zuretti Interior Design . The interior is subtle and elegant, with rich wood, gilt trimming, and cream furnishings. She also features a large amount of head-room space.

She can sleep 12 guests in 6 cabins. The guest accommodations include an owner’s stateroom on the main deck, a VIP guest room on the bridge deck, two double rooms, and two twin guest rooms on the lower deck.

There is accommodation for 23 crew members in 11 cabins, including a crew gym.

The luxury yacht features a wide variety of amenities, including a swimming pool with counter-current jets and a bar.

The garage is filled with water toys and tenders, diving equipment, sea bobs, and wave runners. The SAINT NICOLAS yacht has never been chartered, and she has had the same captain since 2008.

Featuring a steel hull and teak decks, the exterior of the SAINT NICOLAS was designed by Espen Oeino , a Monaco-based design firm.

Her naval architecture was penned by Lurssen Naval Architecture and was delivered from the Lurssen Yachts shipyard in 2007.

Her hull and superstructure were repainted in 2016. In 2017, she was completely refitted with modern and advanced technological features.

The 70m yacht has a beam of 12.8m and a draft of 3.5m. The SAINT NICOLAS yacht has a cruising speed of 12 knots and a top speed of 15.5 knots, covering a range of 4000 nautical miles. She has 2 Caterpillar engines and displaces 1626 gross tons.

She features Zero Speed Stabilizers that reduce the rolling motion of the yacht while at anchor, maximizing comfort for guests.

Motor yacht SAINT NICOLAS is the second of three very similar sister yachts ordered by one client at the North German shipyard Lurssen. The first delivered in 2006 was Apoise (project name Marlin) and the third was Martha Ann (project name Shark) launched in 2008.

The Shipyard Work & Design for Luxury Yacht SAINT NICOLAS

The yacht's general design work came from Lurssen and Espen Oeino. The formal naval architecture drawings are the products of Lurssen. Motor Yacht SAINT NICOLAS received her elegant interior designing from the interior design firm of Zuretti Interior Design. In 2007 she was actually launched to accolade in Bremen and following sea trials and final completion was afterwards handed over to the yacht owner. Lurssen Yachts completed their new build motor yacht in Germany. The core hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is fabricated mostly using aluminium. With a beam of 12.8 m or 41.09 feet SAINT NICOLAS has beamy room. She has a fairly deep draught of 3.5m (11.5ft).

The motor yacht is propelled by twin hearty CATERPILLAR main engine(s) and can manage a swift continuous speed of around 15.5 knots. SAINT NICOLAS has a/an high cruising speed is 12 knots which enables a range of 4000.
