Sanlorenzo completes triple launch as Y4H hits the water

The 37.95 metre Sanlorenzo yacht Y4H has been launched in Italy, during a busy week for the prolific yard.

Part of the SD126 series, Y4H was Sanlorenzo ’s third yacht launch in five days. The ninth SL86 yacht Taiji was recently splashed for a French client, while the SL96 Francamarina also hit the water earlier this month with her Italian owner looking on.

Featuring exterior styling by Italian designer Francesco Paszkowski , Y4H was built from a GRP hull and superstructure for a repeat client from Germany. Her naval architecture was developed in house with a semi-bulbous bow, she features a beam of 8 metres and a maximum draught of 2.33 metres.

Accommodation is for ten guests split across five staterooms, including an owner’s cabin , two doubles and two twins, while the crew quarters allows for a staff of up to six people.

No further interior details have yet been revealed about this tri-deck motor yacht, but the large expanses of glazing in the superstructure hint at a light saloon with great views out to sea.

A semi-displacement cruiser, Y4H is powered by twin MTU diesel engines for a top speed of 17 knots. When trimmed back to her cruising speed of 11 knots, she will have a maximum range of 3,000 nautical miles, Sanlorenzo adds.

Other superyacht projects currently under development at the Italian yard include the flagship Sanlorenzo 64Steel , which is due to hit the water in 2019, and the third hull in the Sanlorenzo 52Steel series , slated for a 2018 launch.

The 37m luxury Sanlorenzo built motor yacht Y4H with a launch in 2017, is offering a reduced weekly rate cruising Eastern Mediterranean ‘s  Croatia through July 12 th . The yacht features in-house naval architecture and interior design and accommodates 11 charter guests, over 5 cabins.

Her interior styling is chic and elegant, using soothing grey toned fabrics, paired with contemporary woods, custom furnishings and bespoke timeless detailing. The main salon has a wonderful ambience for entertaining and relaxing, with a generous lounge aft and formal dining forward. In addition to the aft doors leading to the exterior deck, a starboard side balcony really opens out space, creating a light and airy feel. On the upper deck, a sky lounge offers a plush relaxing sofa, ideal to unwind at any time.

M/Y Y4H is a tri-deck design and boasts 3 levels of exterior living, as well as an extended swim platform on the transom, to enjoy the myriad of water toys on offer. The main deck aft features a casual seating arrangement, perfect for evening aperitifs. The upper aft deck has built-in seating and an alfresco dining option. Her bow area offers a Portuguese style seating area, as well as a further seating space forward. An impressive sundeck includes a Jacuzzi, exterior lounge, sun pads and chaise loungers.

Accommodation is over 5 cabins, for up to 11 charter guests, comprising a master stateroom, VIP cabin, 2 double and a twin cabin, all of which enjoy private en-suite facilities.

Speeds of 12 – 17 knots are provided by twin MTU engines, while zero speed stabilizers assist with reduced motion.

Performance & Range

Built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 22 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 27 knots with a range of up to 800 nautical miles from her 30,000 litre fuel tanks. An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

When not cruising 4A has onboard an incredible selection of water toys and accessories for you and your guests to connect with the waters around you. Guests can feel the wind in their hair and jump the waves on one of the Yamaha VX 110 Cruiser WaveRunners. Another excellent feature are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. If you enjoy diving you'll appreciate the diving equipment and the PADI certified professionals on board. If that isn't enough 4A also features a seabob and wakeboards. When it's time to travel from land to see, it couldn't be easier with a 5.3m/17'5" Novurania Inboard.
