Guests are spoilt for choice when it comes to ways to spend their time on Lady Lara. The long list of amenities has something for everyone - from relaxation in the dedicated spa area, fitness in the gym, socialising around the teppanyaki grill on the sun deck to having a cosy night in the onboard cinema not to mention taking a refreshing dip in one of the two large pools. By day the main deck pool is the perfect place to cool off and refresh, by night the floor transforms to a dancefloor while the bespoke music system takes care of the soundtrack.

Having benefitted from consistent investment since her launch, Lady Lara is in turnkey condition. A 15 million Euro refit took place during the winter of 2022/23 which involved a full paint job, IT and security system upgrades, new carpets, interior updates and a refit to the tenders in addition to maintenance works, tank coating replacement and a navigation system upgrade. Unlike other yachts in the same size category, Lady Lara is ready to go.

Lady Lara is offered for sale for the first time since her delivery in 2015 and has been kept under wraps up until now. She was designed inside and out by Reymond Langton Design – all 2,945GT – and new owners will benefit from recently completed winter refit work values at €15,000,000 where she underwent a full repaint and received new carpets and myriad technical upgrades. Entertainment is at the core of Lady Lara . There are two swimming pools on board, the largest of which can be found on the main deck aft that can be transformed into a dancefloor – thanks to a floor that can be raised and lowered – and a custom surround sound set up. The second pool is found on the sun deck with a swim-up bar, with a large day bed and sunlounge also on this level. Accommodation is for a total of 16 guests across eight cabins with a further two supernumerary cabins for additional staff. Eight years after I wrote the news story on Lady Lara 's delivery for boatinternational.com, I stepped on board with her designers, Pascale Reymond, Andrew Langton and Jon Bevan of Reymond Langton Design. The UK-based studio designed both the exterior and interior of the yacht, while naval architecture came from the in-house team at Lürssen.
