90m Lürssen superyacht Ice for sale

The 90.1 metre Lürssen superyacht Ice has been listed for sale by Greg Gheraia of Blackorange Yachts .

Ice was built by Lürssen in 2005 and picked up the award for Superyacht of the Year at the 2006 World Superyacht Awards. Originally known as Air , she was one of the first vessels to be fitted with electrically-powered Azipod propellers. Diesel-electric generators supply power to two azimuth thrusters, which have the added benefit of giving a comfortable, vibration-free ride as well as seriously reducing emissions while underway. 

She was designed throughout by Tim Heywood and sports a minimalist interior by Terence Disdale . Tables and many of the horizontal surfaces were made of limestone, the five bathtubs being carved from solid blocks so large and heavy that the yacht was reportedly built around them.

The master suite is positioned on the main deck forward, together with two VIP or family cabins. Ice is also one of the first superyachts to have her superstructure positioned further forward than usual, to allow for a large helipad aft. She can accommodate up to 14 guests in seven staterooms, with 27 crew members.

Twin generator rooms, with 842kW MWM/Deutz gensets and huge exhaust cleaners, are divided by a walk-through passageway. Emissions and vibrations were reduced to a minimum during the engineering and naval architecture work, developed by Lürssen. 

During sea trials, she reached a top speed of 18.5 knots under her Azipods. This 3,268GT yacht for sale has a range of 5,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 15 knots.

Asia Yachting Group, a leading regional dealer founded and led by Olivier Besson, is partnering with BlackOrange, a boutique superyacht brokerage firm headed by Greg Gheraia. Asia Yachting’s new yacht portfolio includes Prestige, Fountaine Pajot and Nautique, while BlackOrange focuses on 30m-plus superyachts and remains a standalone brand within Asia Yachting Group.

Besson, Asia Yachting’s CEO, said: “BlackOrange is a dynamic independent company with a superyacht sales and charter business that, when partnering with Asia Yachting, will allow us to accelerate our strategic growth plans.”

The acquisition supplements Asia Yachting’s specialisation in luxury yacht dealership, brokerage, management and after-sales service in Asia with BlackOrange’s positioning as a renowned global boutique superyacht brokerage firm.

Both Asia Yachting and BlackOrange have had strong years to date. Asia Yachting has nearly 150 active listings in the luxury yacht sector and has brokered over 15 pre-owned yachts so far this year including 888 , a 38m Azimut Grande Trideck delivered in early 2023.

Over the last 10 months, BlackOrange has achieved 10 superyacht sales including the 56m Benetti Lady Candy . It has also brokered other sales and been appointed to market megayachts such as a 155m Lürssen and a 90m Lürssen.

$1.1 Million Price Drop on Benetti 115

The owner of the 115-foot Benetti DXB has just dropped the yacht’s asking price by about $1.1 million, to about $5.7 million, according to Black Orange Yachts (which is co-brokering the listing with Burgess Yachts).

DXB is a 2003 launch that accommodates 10 guests in five staterooms, plus seven crew in separate quarters.

The interior styling, by Zuretti Interior Designers, includes a number of items by Hermès. Exterior styling is by Stefano Righini.

How fast is she? DBX has a cruising speed of 12 knots and a top hop of 15 knots.

Feadship 75 meter motor yacht EBONY SHINE is offered for sale again with Gregory Gheraia from Black Orange Yachts  after being withdrawn from the market in july last year.

Built in steel by De Vries in 2008 after a design and naval architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects . She was the largest Feadship to date in terms of volume.

Twin 2681Hp Caterpillar 3516B DI-TA engines allow a cruising speed of 15 knots with a maximum speed of 16.5 knots, giving her a cruising trans-Atlantic range of 5500 nautical miles.

Her interior, designed by Alberto Pinto Design and Laura Sessa , can accommodate up to 14  guests in 7 cabins, consisting of an owner’s stateroom with two bathrooms, two dressing rooms and a separate office on the upper deck, and six luxurious guest suites located on the main deck, all with en-suite bathrooms.

For the crew there are 24 berths in 11 cabins, including a captain’s cabin, and a separate crew mess and galley located on the lower deck.

EBONY SHINE offers plenty of onboard entertainment and relaxation, with a cinema, a full Crestron system in all luxury spaces (including the outside decks), a health club with gym and dedicated outside platform, sauna, hammam/steam and massage rooms, a giant swimming platform and a massive lazarette housing three tenders and three water scooters.

Her outdoor areas offer plenty of space for sunbathing, and al fresco entertaining, including dining facilities on the outside decks for no less than 32 guests.

EBONY SHINE is asking € 100.000.000.

Two piece shoe box construction for extreme hull durability. Molded composite material is much more impact resistant than fiberglass.

Polycarbonate Canopy

Durable polycarbonate provides a watertight seal and the thumb screws mean no tape is necessary to retain the canopy on to the hull.

Rated at over 5 horsepower with 85%+ efficiency, this powerful 8S capable brushless and waterproof motor provides more than enough torque to hit 55+ MPH.

Able to handle all the power needed, it is programmable, water-cooled, waterproof, and Smart.

This adds rigidity and strength to the hull. The interior is wood-free to avoid rot and decay. The grease cup prevents grease from spreading inside.

Aluminum Propeller Strut and Rudder

Both the propeller and rudder feature anodized aluminum. The rudder has a special break away feature that protects the hull from damage in case floating debris is struck.
