As a former Chief Stewardess onboard some extremely prestigious vessels, Molly has built up a fierce and respected repertoire of hands-on skills that she can pay forward to the world of recruitment and beyond. 

Molly has paid her dues to the seafaring life and has decided to plant her roots in the sunny South of France and expand her ever-growing network, offering an effortless, efficient, and personalised touch to modern-day superyacht recruitment processes.

Keegan Weidmann

Keegan has extensive knowledge of the Superyacht industry, having formerly worked as Captain on smaller vessels and Chief Officer on larger motor yachts, both private and charter.

Based out of the South of France, Keegan has fully immersed himself in the yachting industry and understands clientele needs and wants, crew qualification requirements and specifications from Junior Deckhand to Captain and beyond, specialising in all departments.

Savanna Herzberg

Having worked on some of the most luxurious vessels in the industry, Savanna stepped off her last vessel of 55 metres as Chief Stewardess to pursue a career in international superyacht recruitment.

Savanna’s interpersonal skills combined with her offshore experience has enabled her to build a large network of dedicated professionals within the industry. As a seasoned professional, Savanna understands the industry and its professional requirements, providing ‘second-to-none’ recruitment assistance for all superyacht positions.

Richard Graney

Richard has worked on some of the largest vessels in the yachting industry, and he brings his wealth of experience to our Seven Seas Recruitment development team.

Coming from an experienced IT background, Richard worked his way up to an AV/IT role, which gave him a strong foundation for his current web developer position. With Richard’s technical knowledge and experience, he is now helping us build our yacht recruitment platform and combine his previous yachting experience with our company’s needs.

The primary role of a Superyacht Recruitment agent is to place the best-suited candidate onto a Superyacht. A lot of time and money goes into placing candidates; picking the right candidate for the role is essential to ensure the smooth running of the yacht. Agents have a responsibility to the new crew to ensure the yacht they are placed on is safe, and the crew are treated fairly. Therefore, almost all the agencies, comply with the MLC (Marine Labour Convention) and all advertised jobs and contracts issued comply with the regulations.

A legitimate Superyacht Recruitment agent will ask you to enrol on their database and provide personal details, and you will be asked to upload your CV and qualifications. Superyacht Recruitment Agents are by far the best way of finding a job on a Superyacht, as both parties benefit if you find a job. We guarantee…

The candidate selection process is based on a personal face-to-face interview between the candidate and our consultant. A shortlist is composed of 3 targeted candidates per position. A memo describing the candidates’ profiles and the reasons supporting the application is provided to the client. Acteon can advise clients on psychological or specific technical testing if required.

Replacement

Should the employment of a placed candidate be terminated for any reason, by the client’s decision or by the placed hire’s decision, within the first 3 months of the employment (generally the trial period), Acteon will relaunch the assignment and replace the candidate free of charge.

Acteon systematically takes references from a candidate’s former employer, at management level, before a hiring decision is taken. In addition, we would generally cross check by consulting further references.

Acteon commits to an „off limits agreement” with a client during the contractual relation and for two years after its termination. Acteon’s consultants may neither approach nor solicit employees of their clients.

Fee and Fees structure

The standard recruitment fee is 25% of the first year guaranteed gross package of the hired candidates. However, depending on extend of the recruitment partnership with a particular client, we can tailor fee structures accordingly.
