What our clients say.

I’m so glad that someone recommended us to go explore Tortuga Island but more specifically to go with Bay Island Tours! From the moment you arrive to the moment when you leave, you are always being cared for. They help you whenever possible and are all so attentive. The island itself is so beautiful and we all had so much fun! Thank you to the staff for taking such good care of us! We look forward to one day coming back!

A highlight of our Costa Rica Vacation We had an excellent time! The whole staff is super nice, and attentive. The boat ride is beautiful, the island is beautiful, the food was tasty, they even washed our feet as we entered the boat leaving the island. This trip was the highlight of our Costa Rica vacation.

This is a great tour that I would recommend if you go to Costa Rica. You will board a Catamaran fun boat from the Pacific coast of Costa Rica into the Golf of Nicoya. Where You will experience a breathless and relaxing sailing through several small islands, while being served fruit trays and drinks by Costa Rican sailors dressed in white. Narration of the history of the islands is provided as well as music by a Costa Rican band and entertainment as well.

FUN and Lively!! Great service! Not too big … not too small … just right. Crew was very attentive

Great snorkeling trip and ride on Catamaran around Cabo San Lucas. Music and great and bartender was even better. Couldn't drink till after snorkeling portion but drinks were awesome. Lunch was good too.

They should provide transportation or state that they don’t when we are booking! For first timers like us, our Uber dropped us at the wrong side of the Marina and we had to pay another Uber to rush us to “ Dock D” :) other than this stress it was wonderful! The crew was pumped up and very attentive plus we had fun people on the cruise! The sunset was breathtaking, the boat was spacious and worth the money! They served fresh Guacamole, salsa and chips and it was great!

catamaran the great bay's princess

The crew was amazing and made sure we were taken care of for drinks at every turn. The ride was smooth and we got very close to the arch and then circled the area and enjoyed the views. As others have said, this isn’t a narrated tour, and that was perfect for what we wanted. The drinks were great and overall an amazing experience.

catamaran the great bay's princess

It was fun and well organized. The crew made drinks readily available at all times and provided chips with salsas mid trip. There wasn’t any engagement from the crew other than that. So if you are looking for some sort of tour guide or party MC this is not it. It was just a ride to the arc, the bay and back, with fun music. It will be as lively or as tranquil as the guests make it. We had our 2 kids under 10 with us and they enjoyed it. Sitting in front of the catamaran allowed for some splashes of water that are always welcome by kiddos.

catamaran the great bay's princess

Delivered as promised. Fun way to see the sunset/landmarks with plenty of drinks and good music. The staff was always checking on your drink status. Very enjoyable. We are a group of 7 adults and had a great time.

Beautiful yacht-very clean and comfortable! Food was exceptional and outstanding. Every meal was beautifully presented, delicious and healthy. Each breakfast, snack, lunch, dinner and cocktail was an exquisite dining experience. The fact that the table setting was also a surprise for every meal elevated each meal time. Nicole´s meals are Michelin quality and we were all extremely impressed! The entire crew was absolutely outstanding. We loved every moment of our trip! They were all experienced, attentive, informative, fun and entertaining! It was a fabulous experience! The weather precluded us from doing many of the things we would have liked to do but we did enjoy the tropical storm that we experienced one evening. The crew navigated it calmly and effectively! -Sasha W.

Late November 2022

Simeon, Jason, Kim, Robert, Lucie Thank you so much for making Buck´s 60th birthday celebration so special. The service, and hospitality were 2nd to none. All of the meals and drinks were amazing! Thanks to the whole crew for putting up with all of the overserved late night partiers. Kyle will be sure to pay Jason for his ´spot on´ diagnosis of his ´3 stages of Kyle´ Thanks for everything, it was unforgettable trip of a lifetime. Cheers Mo and Buck, Lauren and Christina, Lexi and Ben, Jill & Kyle And to the broker: How was your overall experience? We had a great time. Did the crew live up to your expectations? Yes we really enjoyed all of them. They were very accommodating and fun! How would you describe the food and drinks? Excellent excellent excellent! A lot of food for sure. We aren’t 3 big meals a day. Everything was great and Kim and Lucy were so interesting to talk with. We still want some of the recipes from Kim! Were you involved in planning the itinerary? I think the weather pretty much determined where we could go. What did you like most about your charter? Easiness of each day, not having a plan of go, go, go. Just very relaxing. Can you give me any hints as to how I can provide my clients with an even better experience? Hmmm it was pretty perfect! Is there anything in particular you wish you had known in advance? We definitely could have packed less! I brought 3 pairs of sandals and really only needed 1!

The Mckernans

Wow, where to start with Mariah Princess!! We had an incredible trip. The boat itself is beautiful. The master bedroom cabin was very spacious and offered Mike and I double sinks and a walk-in closet…pretty spectacular for boat living. The other bedrooms were perfectly sized for our kids and nephew. We loved hanging out on the back of the boat. Aside from socializing around the great teak dining table, there were numerous cozy sofas and loungers back there to enjoy the sun. The boat had a fantastic flybridge area too which was a great spot to take in the views as we sailed. It also had an awesome hot tub! The tender was a fabulous boat too. But the best part about Mariah Princess was definitely the crew!!! They went above and beyond to make sure our trip was memorable. Capt Kevin made sure to communicate our plans each evening and was very approachable and informative. He was always willing to help and accommodate our desires on the trip. He even took my son out on the tender for boat driving lessons (Peyton has his boating license). His first mate, Julio, was the nicest guy! He was the first to jump up and agree to take my kid´s wakeboarding, snorkeling, or tubing. He also did a hike with Mike and me in St Thomas. Simply an awesome guy! Our chef, Nicole, made dish after dish of amazing food, with a smile!! We ate so much and loved it all. She was super accommodating to my daughter too, who can be really picky. And finally, Cat….our stew. She was sincerely the best we could have asked for! She was kind, wonderful with my kids, knowledgeable, helpful, funny, and made everything about this trip better. She, along, with Julio, taught my kids how to wakeboard. Their patience and encouragement pushed my kids to success out there. It was awesome. She also did a one-hour morning yoga session for the girls one day which was out of this world. My daughter cried as we left the boat and mainly to be leaving Cat! As you can tell, we loved it! The change in boats was meant to be. If we had to make any recommendations for improvement, there aren’t many….and these suggestions are very minor. Maybe have some round noodles on board and possibly a large inflatable for more than one person to chill out on. (These are coming! note by crew)

February 2022

Cheers to the Mariah Princess Team for putting together our gorgeous sailing adventure in the USVI... in less than one week! When you are ready to Sail... Go! Go! Go! .. especially during this difficult time of Covid and travel restrictions, The Mariah Princess was absolutely pristine about protocol and we joyfully and safely met the superb Mariah Crew in St. Thomas. Captain Kevin Gentles and his Crew, immediately set the tone for fun with their high spirited enthusiasm, professionalism and character! Their work ethic shining brightly anticipating our every need!!! The boat is absolutely gorgeous... even more beautiful than the photographs. What a Lady she is. I and my friends have sailed a lot in our lifetime and the Mariah did not disappoint. Captain Kevin took us on many a great sail! He and 1st Mate Nick, found the most delightful places to swim, snorkel, kayak. Nick had us hiking, paddle boarding... always watching over us to make sure we were safe and having a great time. Our Marvelous Steward; CAT.... was always there with a towel, a drink, and her very witty personality. We adored her! Her table settings were highly creative and elegant. She was highly professional and a joy to be around. Chef KATE.... fed us with the most sumptuous meals. Many of us have dietary issues, which didn´t faze her one bit. We were all completely well fed and happy!! Her cheerful personality and love of cooking was gratefully appreciated. The only disappointment was the hot tub was not working. In all fairness, because I chartered her so quickly, there wasn´t enough time to get it fixed. Everything else was perfection. I look forward to chartering her again and again. Thank you Mariah Team for a terrific vacation! All pictures © Janie Joseland Bennett Sarah

Lagoon 45ft - 2012, Refit 2018

Gypsy princess, yacht description.

Gypsy Princess offers 3 queen size cabins – each have ensuite bathrooms, lots of storage space and luxurious French linens. The salon is lovely with lots of light wood and neutral upholstery with ample room for six people to relax or dine. The cockpit, probably the most popular spot on the yacht, is very comfortable with a seating and dining area plus a great shaded lounging cushion. And then there’s the flybridge, where not only the sailing action takes place, but has additional lounging cushions for sunbathing and enjoying the fantastic views.

Our personal opinion

Why book Gypsy Princess –CABINS – There are lots of reasons from the great water toy selection to the new and enthusiastic crew, but we think one of the best reasons are that there are three equal cabins – no arguing who should get the larger cabin – they are all wonderful with lots of headroom and space. Have the time of your life onboard Gypsy Princess!

Dear Quentin & Marine, We cannot thank you enough for giving us the best possible sailing experience. Everything you did was executed to perfection. The route planning took us to so many new destinations we would have never known or seen without you. The care with which Marine took for every appetizer, breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert was truly flawless. Your culinary skills are so very impressive and deeply appreciated. Quentin, your vast knowledge and passion for sailing is incredible. We learned so much from you and have collected memories for a lifetime.

Lastly, and most importantly, the kindness and care you have shown to our family will never be forgotten. Sully’s wake boarding and snorkeling adventures will long be remembered as a height of this trip!

We look forward to staying in touch with you and planning our next adventure together. Thank you again,

catamaran the great bay's princess

What a wonderful week we had on Gypsy Princess. A beautiful boat that is so well kept we were impressed from the moment we received our welcome champagne, and appetizers to sitting down to our first meal. The boat was so comfortable and roomy, and so many nice places to sit and have drinks, and just relax. This was a wonderful gift and worlds away from our professional lives.

Quentin and Marine were charming, helpful, and so attentive to everything we wanted. We visited some of the most beautiful bays, spent time in the water. Marine accompanied us on some of the snorkels, and she was able to point out some fish and coral’s that would have escaped our vision. We believe she doubles as a mermaid! While we were thinking that we would have had one or two dinners on land, after sampling her cuisine we decided to stay on board for dinners as no restaurants could possibly compete with the meals that we had, on Gypsy Princess, Not to mention the wine parings! We would caution you on the potent cocktails that Marine creates they were delicious! Pretty to look and delicious to drink.

Sailing was wonderful. Quentin is surely an accomplished Sailor, and was so patient explaining to us, and answering for us questions about sailing, and technique. He even let my husband sail as much as he wanted to. As a civil engineer, I am always working, so our short time on Gypsy Princess was a pleasure every single moment. We look forward to the time that we can come back again and sail together on this wonderful boat Thank you Marine and Quentin for an unforgettable week.

Family Vacation I don’t know where to begin…..After so many re bookings for this trip we weren’t sure if we would ever get to come and experience Gypsy Princess. But we did!! It was worth the wait 💖 We couldn’t have picked a better boat & crew. The experience of these 9 days will be talked about by our family for years to come. Ben & Owen took a little time to warmup but once they did they were sold. The snorkel adventures, the tube rides and learning to water ski! Seeing sharks, turtles, stingrays & jellies. We can’t thank you enough for the care you took with all our meals & giving the boys their ‘special’ meals were so appreciated. The movies nights were a huge hit! Jared enjoyed exploring the wreck in Anegada. The attention to all the details have made this trip so special. We loved learning about sailing and navigation. The history of the Islands, Pirates and local info was fascinating. Thank you for our amazing time and Happy sailing to both of you. We hope to sail again with your both. May you have fair winds & following seas! Mary & Jared.

Thank you for all the great times & Adventures! Ben

Thanks for all the amazing places we went and things we did! Owen

Rendezvous diving

catamaran the great bay's princess

If your crewed charter yacht does not offer onboard diving then fear not, rendezvous diving can be arranged.

So what is Rendezvous diving?

A local dive company will pick you up direct from your charter yacht at a pre-determined location and take you for a one- or two-tank dive to experience the BVI below the water. This is an excellent option if only a couple of guests wish to dive or can work equally as well if all your group are interested. If your charter yacht offers minimal onboard diving, then rendezvous diving can also work if you wanted to add a few more dives during your charter.

Rendezvous diving is at additional cost, payable locally. The dive company provides all gear.

Captain: Reinhard Buys

Captain Reinhard Buys Captain Reinhard grew up in a small fishing town called Gansbaai, in the Western Cape, South Africa. Growing up around the ocean pushed him into finding a career that was suited to what he loved. He began as a seafarer within the cruise line industry working for the infamous company ‘Disney Cruise Line’ on their private island in the Bahamas, working as a Lifeguard and Water-sports Leader. This is where he met Ruby. They had the same passion for the ocean and felt they needed to spread their wings and in April 2019 we began their yachting career together. He never looked back, yachting is everything to him and each day reminds him how far you can grow within this industry. From a young age, he learned how to spearfish/fish and freedive and those two hobbies are his passion. Having the ability to combine his work and passion, well you couldn’t ask for anything better. Ruby and he have worked/lived together for the past 5 years, seeing some incredible places from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean and experiencing some truly amazing things. Whilst taking pride in his position as Captain, he also loves to cook, so you will definitely be enjoying some delicious grilled meat on the grill. He is excited to be running this brand new Fontaine Pajot 67 in the Exumas, taking guests to the secluded, tropical islands and creating memories to last a life time. Cook/Stewardess Ruby Field Ruby was born in Worcester, England and grew up in a family orientated around the Arts. In 2014, she graduated from the University of Winchester with a BA in Contemporary Performance. Upon graduating, she wanted to take a year for herself before completing her teaching qualification. She was offered a position with 'Disney Cruise Line', working as a Lifeguard and Water-sports Leader. She grew within the company and four years later was still working for them. Until, she met Reinhard and took the leap of faith and left the company to start their adventure together in the world of yachting. It was the best decision they ever made and she would not change it for the world. She has a huge passion for cooking and has always loved to try out new cuisines and recipes . Being able to create mouth-watering, flavourful dishes that all guests can enjoy is key! Her goal is to keep you happy on your vacation and let you experience some of the most beautiful places in the world. Whether you need a fresh shaken cocktail, or a snorkel in the crystal blue waters, or you want to eat some of the tastiest cuisine, you can count on the crew delivering this to you. Deck/Stew - Chené Nel I was born in Gauteng, but I grew up in the Western Cape, South Africa. I have a passion for mother nature as I have always been in/on or around mountains and the ocean. My father always dreamt that I would work in the yachting industry as he was a huge lover of sailing. We would go out on the water as often as we could. Sadly, he passed away when I was 18 years old. After completing school, I moved from Cape Town to Onrus/ Hermanus and started working in the hospitality industry. After a few years I met my life partner, who shares the same passions as I do. We then decided to start our journey together in yachting. We continue to stay dedicated and determined to learn and grow within this industry and make a success of ourselves. From the 4th of December 2023 to 13th January 2024 while the Captain and Chef get married in South Africa, the following crew will step in as replacement: Rachel Sweetman – Chef / Stewardess - 27 Years Old I was born and brought up in Cambridge, UK. At the age of 18, I spent a year traveling the world and found myself a job working within the yachting and tourism industry on the Great Barrier Reef of Australia - it was here I met Tony. I have been working on yachts ever since and haven’t looked back! I love every aspect of my job and have a genuine enthusiasm for assuring that my guests have an exceptional experience on board. My favourite meals to cook are healthy Mediterranean & Asian inspired. My greatest passions in life, are exploring new places, my love for the ocean, cooking, running, tennis and wakeboarding. I am extremely competitive person with a positive attitude towards life Tony Sweetman - Captain - 37 Years Old Having grown up around the water on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand I was always destined for a life at sea. After graduating from a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering I moved to the Great Barrier Reef where I began my yachting career, on charted fishing vessels, wakeboarding and jet boats. I have since then been Captain of several vessels with cruising areas of the Mediterranean, Bahamas, Caribbean & Intercoastal waterways of Florida. In my free time, I love to keep fit, travel, watch sport as well as playing a lot of sport – including tennis, golf, wakeboarding and snowboarding. I take pride in providing tailor made yachting experiences and hopefully I can take you on your next unforgettable adventure.

Cook/Stewardess Ruby Field

Ruby was born in Worcester, England and grew up in a family orientated around the Arts. In
2014, she graduated from the University of Winchester with a BA in Contemporary
Performance. Upon graduating, she wanted to take a year for herself before completing her
teaching qualification. She was offered a position with 'Disney Cruise Line', working as a
Lifeguard and Water-sports Leader. She grew within the company and four years later was still
working for them. Until, she met Reinhard and took the leap of faith and left the company
to start their adventure together in the world of yachting. It was the best decision they ever
made and she would not change it for the world. She has a huge passion for cooking and has
always loved to try out new cuisines and recipes . Being able to create mouth-watering,
flavourful dishes that all guests can enjoy is key! Her goal is to keep you happy on your
vacation and let you experience some of the most beautiful places in the world. Whether
you need a fresh shaken cocktail, or a snorkel in the crystal blue waters, or you want to eat
some of the tastiest cuisine, you can count on the crew delivering this to you.

Deck/Stew - Chené Nel

I was born in Gauteng, but I grew up in the Western Cape, South Africa.

From the 4th of December 2023 to 13th January 2024 while the Captain and Chef get married in South Africa, the following crew will step in as replacement:

Rachel Sweetman – Chef / Stewardess - 27 Years Old

I was born and brought up in Cambridge, UK. I am extremely competitive person with a positive attitude towards life

Tony Sweetman - Captain - 37 Years Old

Having grown up around the water on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand I was always destined for a life at sea.
";s:14:"yachtCrewPhoto";s:81:"https://www.centralyachtagent.com/yachtadmin/yachtlg/yacht8671/8671brochure44.jpg";s:13:"yachtCrew1Pic";s:76:"https://www.centralyachtagent.com/yachtadmin/yachtlg/yacht8671/8671crew1.jpg";s:13:"yachtCrew2Pic";s:76:"https://www.centralyachtagent.com/yachtadmin/yachtlg/yacht8671/8671crew2.jpg";s:13:"yachtCrew3Pic";s:76:"https://www.centralyachtagent.com/yachtadmin/yachtlg/yacht8671/8671crew3.jpg";s:13:"yachtCrew4Pic";s:0:"";s:13:"yachtCrew5Pic";s:0:"";s:13:"yachtCrew6Pic";s:0:"";s:13:"yachtCrew7Pic";s:0:"";s:13:"yachtCrew8Pic";s:0:"";s:13:"yachtCrew9Pic";s:0:"";s:14:"yachtCrew10Pic";s:0:"";s:14:"yachtCrew1Name";s:13:"REINHARD BUYS";s:14:"yachtCrew2Name";s:10:"RUBY FIELD";s:14:"yachtCrew3Name";s:10:"Chené Nel";s:14:"yachtCrew4Name";s:0:"";s:14:"yachtCrew5Name";s:0:"";s:14:"yachtCrew6Name";s:0:"";s:14:"yachtCrew7Name";s:0:"";s:14:"yachtCrew8Name";s:0:"";s:14:"yachtCrew9Name";s:0:"";s:15:"yachtCrew10Name";s:0:"";s:15:"yachtCrew1Title";s:7:"Captain";s:15:"yachtCrew2Title";s:15:"Cook/Stewardess";s:15:"yachtCrew3Title";s:9:"Deck/Stew";s:15:"yachtCrew4Title";s:0:"";s:15:"yachtCrew5Title";s:0:"";s:15:"yachtCrew6Title";s:0:"";s:15:"yachtCrew7Title";s:0:"";s:15:"yachtCrew8Title";s:0:"";s:15:"yachtCrew9Title";s:0:"";s:16:"yachtCrew10Title";s:0:"";s:9:"yachtFlag";s:3:"USA";s:13:"yachtHomePort";s:15:"Nassau, Bahamas";s:14:"yachtWBasePort";s:19:"Fort Lauderdale, FL";s:8:"yachtRig";s:0:"";s:14:"yachtGrossTons";s:0:"";s:12:"yachtAcNight";s:3:"Yes";s:16:"yachtAcSurCharge";s:0:"";s:9:"yachtTubs";s:1:"0";s:20:"yachtLocationDetails";s:76:"Updated September 2023 - Princess Mila is currently based in Nassau, Bahamas";s:10:"yachtTerms";s:4:"MYBA";s:13:"yachtCaptOnly";s:0:"";s:15:"yachtSpecialCon";s:0:"";s:14:"yachtContracts";s:0:"";s:21:"yachtConsumptionUnits";s:10:"US Gall/Hr";s:10:"yachtRange";s:7:"1700 NM";s:11:"yachtPermit";s:1:"0";s:12:"yachtLicense";s:1:"0";s:8:"yachtMca";s:1:"0";s:16:"yachtDeepSeaFish";s:0:"";s:10:"yachtSatTv";s:3:"Yes";s:9:"yachtIpod";s:3:"Yes";s:10:"yachtVideo";s:0:"";s:17:"yachtSailInstruct";s:0:"";s:13:"yachtInternet";s:12:"Onboard WIFI";s:16:"yachtCaptainOnly";s:0:"";s:16:"yachtBrokerNotes";s:0:"";s:10:"yachtNumGC";i:1;s:13:"yachtGC1Title";s:54:"Client Review: Princess Mila (11.25 .2023 -11.28.2023)";s:8:"yachtGC1";s:820:"Thank you to the Princess Mila team! The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). Cool Cruiser

We went a number of years ago, but the description looks pretty much the same. You get split up into small groups and board small sail boats to the cove. Ours was 8 people, can be more or less. Snorkling was great. Lots of turtles. Definitely fun. Boats were small though and my wife got a little seasick on way back when wind died and we had to motor.

Are you sure that's a Princess excursion? Your link brought me to a private tour operator.

We have that excursion scheduled on our November sailing on Crown Princess. I'd love to know how it is as well.

Yes...Princess has a contract with this tour company the link went to. I personally talked to the owner (via phone) and he told me that if I wanted this tour I would have to book it through Princess. Which I did.

Any one else have any more reviews on this one? I'd love to hear more feedback also.

This tour was one of the best I have ever taken. The DH and I snorkeled among HUGE schools of tropical fish, saw many, MANY sea turtles and a stingray!

If you would like to see photos of the scooner we sailed on click the link below:

http://good-times.webshots.com/album/568788394QCuBSG?start=144

If anyone has any questions about this tour...just ask away!

Thanks for the review. Was the water fairly calm or did you have to fight waves while snorkeling? How deep was the water? Could you see the fish well?

Hello Everyone,

does anyone know who to get a hold of Godfrey tours? I hear positive things about the megans bay and shopping..

thanks daniella

cruise leaves dec 9th

The water was calm, clear and wonderfuuuuuuuuuuuuul!!!:D

The water was not so deep that you could not see the bottom. In fact many of the sea turtle we saw were walking down on the bottom of the ocean floor. So was the Sting Ray...and the visibility of them were great!

I'd suggest either doing a search using the search function or starting this as a separate topic with a new thread. You aren't likely to get the info by posting it under a review of the turtle cove excursion. I'm not trying to be rude, but just informative since I see you are a new poster. These boards are the BEST way of getting information but sometimes it can requiring a bit of digging. I have gotten some of the best infor by spending some time going back to previous pages of posts.

Hi - Is there shallow water snorkeling for kids there, or do you need to go in deeper water? We are considering this excursion, but didn't know if we should save our money for other things and just go snorkeling on our own?

As for shallow water, the boat anchored

out away from shore and the water was somewhat deep, but not so deep that if your kids are good swimmers...then they could easily swim to the bottom of the ocean where the snorkeling

They have snorkeling vest for all to wear....so make sure to have those on your kids. We use them too...even though the DH and I are very good swimmers. They just make floating above schools of fish to view them so much more relaxing.

We considered snorkeling on our own too......but after reading and personally talking (on the phone) to the owner of this tour company...it sounded like such a great deal. Believe me....the money you pay for this excursion is well worth it. And the crew is awesome...they are helpful, and mostly FUN to be around. They really do a great job of entertaining you on the way to and from the snorkel point on the boat. I think you will really enjoy doing this tour.

One more thing....they serve light snacks: salsa and chips and Run drinks for adults and tropical drinks for kids and music was played that gave the ride back a 'party atmosphere'. The boat is in FULL sail all the back to the island after the snorkeling is completed. My DH (who was in the Navy for many years) really enjoyed the sailing back....it was great fun.

Mona, thanks for all the info on this excursion. I've booked it for my family on RCI in February. I will also post a review when I return.

Hope you have as good of a time as the DH and I did. Can't wait to read your review on your return.

BTW...if you would like to see some photos of this tour click the link below:

http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2573680750095430378Yemymz

Make sure to click 'NEXT' to see many, many photos of the tour. BTW....they give you a temp-tattoo during the sail back to ship. But make sure to put it somewhere that will not show. It REALLY was hard to get off! I had them put it on my leg cause I wanted to save it for the next day while at the pool and that night was a formal night. I really was glad I did, cause when I tried to wash it off...it took many showers to get it off! That would not have looked too nice on my arm with a formal. LOL

Ok, mental note: no tattoos on the forehead. Good to know :D

I am thinking of doing the turtle cove excursion thru Princess on the May 10th sailing. Anybosy have any recent feedback? This tread is from a few years ago.

The Cat, does the turtle cove catamaran tour in St. thomas for Princess. Here is their link to that tour

I hope this is helpful. :)

I did this tour in March. And it was the Cat. It was one of my favorite excursions ever. The staff was great the snorkeling was wonderful and the drinks were plentiful. The ride to Buck Island was breathtaking. They gave us adaquete time to snorkel where we saw turtles, sting rays, and a ton of fish. The cruise back the bar was open and the drinks were flowing. It was just a great combo of snorkeling and partying. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Actually when we got back on our boat (Ruby) we went straight to the tour counter to leave positive feedback.

w8ing2cruz

I'm so glad to hear this. I've booked 'The Cat' for our St. Thomas excursion. Because we are sailing with Carnival they can work directly with us. At this point our group of eight are the only ones on it :D There are no other ships in port that day so I'm pretty sure it will be a small group! Did you like the boat itself? I understand its brand new!

The boat was beautiful. It was only a week or two old as I recall when we were on it. We had a great time; enjoy.

is this excursion only open to princess passenger?

I don't believe this is the same catamaran. 'The Cat' is brand new and folks sailing on Princess and NCL must go through the cruise line. I looked long and hard to find a catamaran that would leave from Havensight and not have to book through Carnival. I'm SO looking forward to sailing on this new boat!!
