Platinum Charters Dinner Sunset Sail is our premier “dinner with a view” experience. Sunsets at sea, viewed from the yacht are spectacular. You will enjoy a panoramic view of the entire coastline in a distance. Each day is unique, as the light reacts with clouds and landscapes. Rainbows frequently add color to the distant horizon.

The sail starts around 6 in the evening with a short briefing and introduction as we depart from the marina. While taking in the incredible views of the sun setting on the horizon, our Chef on Board will prepare an array of Western and Local cuisine where seafood would be our main attraction. Wines are carefully selected by our Chef according to what is served. Unlike other charter boats, our yachts are equipped with a full galley and a bar. This means that some dishes can be prepared fresh onboard instead of the standard practice of pre-cooking the food.

Once we reach our turnaround point, the crew will power down the boat’s twin diesels and hoist the massive mainsail and jib. Now you’re set up for some sailing, relaxing and yummy food. The crew’s objective on this sail is to position the boat for a calm, downwind sail during dinner service.

We time the sail to pull into the marina around 10pm, our goal is to return you to shore safe, happy and full.

Straits Quay Marina

40 pontoon berths, private charter, 25pax recommended, water limousine, e&o hotel grand elegance, harbour cruise, iconic harbour evening skyline.

Straits Quay Marina has 40 pontoon berths that can accommodate boats from 10m to 25m in length, with the approach channel and marina basin dredged to three meters below chart datum. All berths have potable water and 240V 32/63A electricity supplied via pedestals.

A Boater’s Centre is located within the Marina Management Office with information office, Wi-Fi access and shower rooms. Prior booking of berths is highly recommended and they will only be allocated subject to availability. The berthing terms have been revised on 1st May 2019.
