There is an array of condo options from the simple low-rise buildings to extravagant high-rise condos. Condo units range in size from approximately 1,000 square feet to over 3,000 square feet. Most of these feature stunning views of the marina, the Caloosahatchee River and the Gulf of Mexico. Gulf Harbour is like living at the Ritz! Everything is beautifully decorated and landscaped. The restaurant and bar are fabulous, the pools are always perfectly clean and the fitness center has everything you could want. My husband and I use all the amenities here but his favorite is the golf course. This year we are boat shopping and hope to get a slip here in our marina so we can enjoy the water even more!

Well kept community. We've owned a few homes here. However, there's a couple stuck-up members that give the whole place a bad vibe. I've been kicked off the course because they thought I wasn't a member -- total discrimination for the average low-key and modest folk. There's also rules like no golf course fishing that I'd like revoked. I see no harm in fishing on the course at 10 PM at night. A friend of mine got in trouble for dropping off his 70 year old mother at the gas dock. Too many rules and it's ludicrous. The security would give their own grandmother a speeding ticket. Overall, there are some great people that live here but there's a few things that just ruin it.

I hope my 1 star shows up! It seemed like it wouldn't take. I would give it 1/2 star if I could. Why bother playing here when there are over a hundred other wonderful courses you can play in the SW Florida area - there is just no need to play at this club. Just NOT worth it. To begin with - when you arrive the convoluted way it is set up for parking, dropping off your clubs, you get into a really bad cart, and then you have to drive a strange 1/2 mile to get back over to the driving range and Pro Shop. The carts are awful with no GPS and such touchy brakes that you have to worry about being thrown out of the cart when they are used. The staff is rather unfriendly and very uncooperative. The Pro Shop is sparse. Amenities are a completely unknown item here; there are none. The practice area and the range over water are a joke - old sinking range balls. Then, there is the course. Narrow, not in great condition, and not particularly attractive or fun. So if you want to waste your time and money -- have at it. But seriously, there are at least 30 other golf courses that are infinitely more enjoyable with better staff and amenities. I would rather play anywhere but here.

The tennis leagues at Gulf Harbour are more plentiful and active than any other in Southwest Florida. The club has over 300 tennis members, and over 20 teams. There are eight lighted courts that include shaded bleachers for spectators.

Wellness & Fitness Center

The wellness center at Gulf Harbour puts many professional gyms and fitness clubs to shame. With over 24,000 square feet and state of the art equipment, it has everything a member could want. In addition to the self-paced machines, there are weekly fitness classes such as Barre and Spinning.

All of this is of course at a price. Initial buy in for the country club is $60,000 with annual dues of $10,260. If you want to join the social membership, that initiation fee is only $12,000 with annual dues of $5,050. This is of course in addition to the HOA fee that you pay for maintaining the community grounds, pools, etc.

Memberships are limited to only 400 individuals, which helps to ensure you’ll be able to get a tee time when you want one.

Gulf Harbour Yacht & Country Club Surrounding Area

This luxury gated community is located just off McGregor Boulevard in South Fort Myers. This main road can get you to just about any dining or shopping experience that you want, including the Sanibel Outlets, Gulf Points Square Shopping Mall, and numerous steak and seafood restaurants.

If you’re looking for a place to get away and take some walks along the beach, Sanibel and Captiva Island are just across the Causeway, a short 15-minute drive from Gulf Harbour. Planning to get further out of town? Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers is a 20-25 minute drive west.

With quick access to highways, you can also easily travel south to Naples for a change of scenery or north to Tampa and the beautiful beaches of St. Petersburg.

Came here and stayed at one of our friends house for a few days here and I must say this gated community gulf area is pretty decent is you are looking to buy or have something as a vacation home. I was able to see quite a variety of homes from apartments to single family homes. They have pool, gym and salon which provides massages. Pretty decent as well if you have a boat you can park it there since they have a small marina. Super clean and secure looking gated area specially for the elderly.

Great Tennis program here! The pros are super professional and have a plethora of knowledge on the sport. The courts are great and located right near the water there, so there's usually a nice breeze. Overall a beautiful club with golf, tennis, workout and multiple social options available.

This was the perfect venue for the baby shower. Thirty ladies nestled around tables for eight in a private dining area next to the main Cubhouse's dining room. The Club was generous and allowed decorations brought by the hostess to be placed on the fireplace, in the tall windows, and as centerpieces. The Club also set up a dessert table for a display of hand-made goodies, and a long, white clothed table for gifts. The Chef appeared and accepted a deserved round of applause. Guests could choose from six entrees, printed on personalized menus at each place setting of silverware wrapped in a sunny yellow napkin. I selected the baby spinach salad in vinaigrette, festooned with a half dozen grilled shrimp, poached pears, feta, and nuts. Light, but filling. Mimosas added to the event's yellow color scheme. Gulf Harbour is Ft Myers' most upscale residence,with full amenities: golf, marina, Clubhouse, and additional gated communities within the gated, master community.

Why bother playing here when there are over a hundred other wonderful courses you can play in the SW Florida area - there is no need to play at this club. Just NOT worth it. To begin with - when you arrive the convoluted way it is set up for parking, dropping off your clubs, you get into a really bad cart, and then you have to drive a strange 1/2 mile to get back over to the driving range and Pro Shop. The carts are awful with no GPS and such touchy brakes that you have to worry about being thrown out of the cart when they are used. The staff is rather unfriendly and very uncooperative. The Pro Shop is sparse. Amenities are a completely unknown item here; there are none. The practice area and the range over water are a joke - old sinking range balls. Then, there is the course. Narrow, not in great condition, and not particularly attractive or fun. So if you want to waste your time and money -- have at it. But seriously, there are at least 30 other golf courses that are infinitely more enjoyable with better staff and amenities. I would rather play anywhere but here.
