NORFOLK STAR is a 37m (121.4ft) pedigree sailing yacht, designed and built by renowned Italian shipyard Perini Navi. This yacht is in superb condition having recently undergone a multi-million euro refit in 2020, including a new main engine, two new generators, PLC system, Inmarsat VSAT dome, 505 Williams tender, Doyle sails and Reckmann rigging. NORFOLK STAR also had her full five-year Lloyd's survey.

The interior and exterior furnishings have been recovered, all surfaces and marble has been professionally cleaned and coated. The teak decks have been professionally sanded. No expense has been spared to bring this yacht to market in pristine order for a new owner.

On deck, the main cockpit is split into two areas, one with easy seating around a circular coffee table, whilst the other provides a dining area. Both can comfortably sit up to eight people.

For relaxation, a large cushioned sunbathing area is in position immediately behind the shaded cockpit. This is a favourite spot to watch the world as you sail by.

Down below, NORFOLK STAR's bright upper salon has a large L-shaped sofa around a coffee table and a forward facing desk, with panoramic views. Her interior is finished in cherry wood, and the large hull portholes give the interior a particularly light and airy feel.

From the upper salon a large stairway forward shows the way to the main salon. There are two sofas and a more formal dining area in the main salon which features an extendable walnut table.

This yacht offers a family-friendly layout with accommodation for six guests. On the lower deck, the full-width private master stateroom is found aft. Here you find a generous, glamorous space with walk-in wardrobe, en suite bathroom with a full bath, plus a seperate study area.

Next door are two twin cabins that sleep another four guests. There is no compromise in comfort, as each cabin comes with an en suite shower room. There is also the option of an additional pullman berth for an extra guest.

Once aboard, NORFOLK STAR looks after her guests with Samsung LED TVs, and Creston Control AV System. At anchor, the swimming platform drops into place on the starboard side, and all the water toys come out - there's something for everyone to have fun, from paddle boards and flight boards.

All the guest spaces are line-free, making her entirely family friendly and safe for your young pirates. Her main cockpit, accessed from both side decks, is split into two areas: one with comfortable seating around a circular coffee table, the other serves as a comfortable dining area. For sun worshippers there is a large raised sunpad area on the aft deck behind the shaded cockpit, or you could sunbathe up forward, sailor-style in a hammock or on sun loungers.

The cherry wood panelled pilothouse, with its lounge, desk and wraparound views, is separated from the cockpit by doors on the port and starboard side, giving guests privacy while underway or at anchor. From the pilothouse steps lead down aft to the guest cabins and forward into the main lounge with its cosy lounge to port, extendable walnut table to starboard, another dining option, and large portholes.

She welcomes six to seven guests in three cabins. The master cabin is full beam and has a walk in wardrobe, a separate study area and a bathroom with marble-topped bath. She also has two twin cabins with generous en suites, one with an additional pullman child’s berth, making her perfectly suited for families.

Sailing yacht NORFOLK STAR (KHALEESI, NORTHERN SPIRIT, Salperton) is a fantastic example of a Perini Navi cruising ketch. She is a quality yacht and has been well looked after offering everything required to provide a fantastic charter vacation. A total of 6 guests can be accommodated in 3 charming cabins. She was refitted in 2020 and has a crew of 5 on board.

The main cockpit, accessed from both side decks, is naturally split into two areas: one with comfortable seating around a circular coffee table, while the other provides a dining area. Both can accommodate up to eight people. A large raised cushioned sunbathing area is situated immediately behind the shaded cockpit.

The pilothouse is separated from the cockpit by doors on the port and starboard side, giving guests privacy either underway or at anchor. A deck refrigerator is conveniently situated here.

Up forward, under the shade of a loose awning, a hammock and sun loungers take full advantage of the foredeck breeze.

Stairs lead down from the pilothouse to a raised upper saloon. This bright, open saloon has two settees around a coffee table and a forward facing deck, with panoramic views. Stairs lead aft to the guest accommodation, while a large stairway forward shows the way to the main saloon.

The main saloon, two settees and an armchair are around three sides of a coffee table. A large hidden plasma screen with surround sound system makes up the entertainment system. On the starboard side, a more formal dining area has room for six around an extendable, walnut inlaid table. Off the main saloon is a day head to starboard and a small cabin to port, suitable for use as a berth for staff or another crew member. A door forward leads into the galley and crew mess.

From the upper saloon, the stairs lead aft down a central corridor. To port and starboard are two twin guest staterooms, the one to port also having a Pullman berth, and both with very generous ensuite shower rooms. Fully aft is a full-width master stateroom with walk-in wardrobe. A separate study area and ensuite bathroom with bath, complete the owners’ suite.

For the size of yacht, NORFOLK STAR has an exceptional amount of different living areas. Guests can relax together or can find a quiet area to hideaway. The interior is finished in cherry wood, and the large hull portholes give the interior a particularly light and airy feel.

NORFOLK STAR boasts all the finest features to be expected from the renowned Perini Navi shipyard of Viareggio, Italy and she combines performance with an exceptional degree of comfort. In addition to a large aft deck area, there is fine saloon space on two levels, making her ideal for cruising in all weather conditions. Indeed NORFOLK STAR has proven her long-range sailing credentials with a full global circumnavigation. Following the renewal of her ABS Special Survey and an extensive refit in Spring 2006 she is in magnificent condition.
