Akasia Yachting boatyard has been successfully building gulets and motoryachts since the 1990s, previously yacht design and building technics with classic carpentry, design, and craftsmanship, as well as materials used to be the old school way. Classic Carvel planking hull buildings with ordinary hot galvanized nails were used in yacht design and building.
The size of a leisure yacht would not be bigger than 10 to 12 meters at most in the late ’70s, Nowadays space technology and superior quality bonding materials such as epoxy glue is being commonly used for building laminated frames and the hull is covered with thin layers of several 15 mm African mahogany strips of 3/4/5 layers depending on the size of the boat. The stainless steel materials are being used to reinforce the hull with the help of two components epoxy bonding material which gives absolute isolation from the seawater and makes the hull a monobloc vessel that is much more resistant to barnacles and worms that we used to suffer enormously.

B&I Yachts is a Turkish based luxury yacht building company established by Irfan Basar, Naval Architect and Marine Engineer, in 2022, with head office based in Istanbul. The company aims to address the design and yacht building of high end yachts across the world. B&I Yachts builds yachts ranging from 20 to 80 meters and has a well-recognized experience in the superyacht industry. During his over 20+ years of experience in different shipyards, Irfan Basar noticed the deficiencies and improper sides of these facilities in the meaning of production and administration and put his efforts to transform them into more productive, efficient and profitable establishments, by changing existing systems with the new ones most of the time. While doing this, he recognized that the main missing point was the spirit of the shipyard. He started out B&I Yachts with this point of view and aims to create a shipyard the spirit of the shipyard will be revealed and the dreams will come true.

B&I YACHTS FAMILY
Irfan Basar’ s love of yachts was started in childhood while making wooden yachts models with his father during summer breaks. He was graduated from Fevziye Mektepleri Vakfı Isık Lisesi. He received a Bachelor of Naval Architect and Marine Engineer degree from Istanbul Technical University. He worked for RMK shipyard respectively as Project Engineer, Project Manager and then Production Manager. Then he joined CMB Shipyard located in Antalya and was in charge as Production Manager. Lately he started as Business Development Manager and became General Manager of Mengiyay Yachts. After 20 + years of experience at the sector, in 2022, he started his own business and founded B&I Yachts which aims to address the design and production of high end yachts across the world.
B&I Yachts has been governed by an experienced workforce whose responsibility it is to ensure B&I Yachts employees’ interests as well as their personal growth which is essential to redefine the perfection and uniqueness.
With expertise in engineering, exterior and interior design and yacht building, our research-oriented team create projects that are modernist, innovative, fit to purpose, and uplifting for the end user. RED Yacht Design
RED is a multi-award winning yacht design studio founded in Istanbul in 2017 by architect Cana Gökhan and naval architect Fatih Sürekli. It is currently based in London and Istanbul. Its founders come from different backgrounds thus have managed to bring together multidisciplinary personalities.
The RED team of 10 people, each specialized in their own field, has undertaken projects in varying lengths and works with the prominent shipyards of the sector. The company raises the bar of success in each new project with the strength coming from the ethical values it has adopted, its pursuit of excellence, its multidisciplinary team and the unique experiences it hopes to both live and keep alive.
Cana Gökhan graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Architecture, in 2003. Fatih Sürekli graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Naval Architecture, in 2006. Okan ÇINAR, Naval Architect & Marine Engineer
He was born in İzmir, spend his entire childhood close to sea life. These little experiences turned into a passion and affected his career selection. He graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Naval Arc. & Marine Eng. Department in 2016, first degree of faculty.
According to his attention in yacht industry, he started working Karatas Yacht Design, Tuzla. He took advantage of working relatively small firm via getting involved in projects directly and requiring knowledge in each stage of design. In that period, completed several new built and refit projects, worked with different class societies and yards.
In 2020, he founded Nautic Design & Engineering, based on İzmir.
Studio house designed and built by us in 2021. Feeling the spirit of green life, dancing with modern architecture, p rovides nice environment to design limitless products.

INTRODUCING
Bosphorus Sunset Yacht is one of the best designed Motor Yachts in Istanbul, luxuriously equipped, stylishly designed and exceptionally spacious. Powered by two MTU 1050HP diesel engines, our yacht is capable of impressive speeds as well as offering a wide cruising range .
The yacht is licensed by the Port of Istanbul Authority which permits the charter of the yacht on the Bosphorus Strait.
YACHT EXTERIOR
The sleek design, sharp edged and impeccable finishing of our yacht makes it a delight to behold, as you approach it where it is moored at the Bosphorus.
As you step aboard onto the teak deck, you will behold inviting seats with comfortable upholstery, open cockpit seating and tables. The seats at the stern allow for fantastic views of Istanbul’s landmarks as the yacht is cruising up and down the Bosphorus.
The flybridge features seating and front side of the yacht has sunbathing cushions as well as seating area with 360 degrees’ view of the Bosphorus.
A STUNNING INTERIOR
The stunning interior of the yacht boasts a spacious lounge area which splits into an upper and lower saloon where you can relax with your friends, enjoying music played through our state of the art sound system.
The lower saloon’s pleasing ambience is accentuated by teak floor, heating and large windows for a better view of the sights along the Bosphorus. The lower saloon features TV/ DVD player and curved seating around a design table. The upper saloon houses two dining tables, curved seating and 180 degree windows that allow you to admire the Bosphorus stunning landmarks as you cruise along in comfort.
