Welcome to Minneford Marina; a home for you and your boat. We are an award winning 15-acre marina with the highest quality dock system of any marina in the City of New York that offers several options for storing your watercraft, including boat and jet ski slip rentals, dry rack storage, wet & dry rack storage, winter storage and transient dockage.
We offer a welcoming environment where boaters can spend time with their family and friends and meet others in the community, while also providing a full-service shop to make keeping your vessel in top shape convenient and easy.
We have plenty of on site amenities to make your stay safe and more pleasurable including 24/7 security and dockhands, gated parking lot, gated marina entrance, a large lounge area BBQ deck with ready-to-use grills and picnic tables, children’s play area, and much more, all with views of Long Island Sound.
The marina is located at the western end of Long Island Sound, giving you direct access to Long Island Sound and to New York City through the East River. Access to fishing and cruising grounds is straight forward. Leave your slip and you are ready to begin a wonderful recreational experience!

Nice place to hang out if your friend has a boat. They have a hang out area with seats and grills for members to use.
Superb customer service. Evelyn was so welcoming and her stories are most welcomed while waiting for a quote from Josephine. It is a well maintained marina with experience working on boats of all dimensions. The docks and slips are clean and in good condition.
Beautiful views, good food at the bar/ grille across the water. Literally EVERYONE says hello or greets you when you’re coming in & leaving. That’s nice. Makes it feel “homey”.
If you’re looking for a great time great relaxation and you just want to be on the water come out and have some fun and relaxation.

Staff and dock assistance is outstanding! Captain Frank (marina owner) is a storehouse of nautical/sailing knowledge. The office staff is friendly and accommodating to our quirky transient slip needs (Josephina is da-bomb!)

My good friend has a boat here. Decent facilities with competitive pricing for slips. The only issue is that last year, the breakwater was removed next door, and during a strong system, severe damage was experienced on many boats, including my friend's. Repairs on the boat took a really long time there as well.
My husband and our family were looking forward to this local spot. Unfortunately, we experience nothing but a huge disappointment and dissatisfaction within North Minnieford Yacht Marina! Management is unprofessional and a bunch of rip offs!! I wouldn't recommend this marina due to their Overly priced services,unprofessional, and none family business.

| The facility occupies the site of the old Minneford Shipyard, which was established in 1926 and turned out palatial yachts for millionaires. It also built many of the great America’s Cup racers, including Constellation, Intrepid, Courageous, Freedom and Enterprise, and during World War II it built torpedo boats, mine sweepers and seagoing tugs. The yard was closed around 1980 and became the current marina in 1985.

Weekly stay (7 days) $1.50 per foot. The above rate is for all boats up to 60′ in overall length. The rate includes water and electric to single 50 amp service.
