Her interior styling, designed by the famed Alberto Pinto, is comfortable and casual. Her layout provides for plenty of private areas, but is also built to entertain large amounts of guests. The talented Espen Oeino created the flowing lines and distinctive exterior styling. TV will surely be a vessel that is admired for many years to come.

Video: First Look of Lürssen's 130m+ Superyacht DEEP BLUE

Emerging from her construction shed for the first time, onlookers reveled in the sight of the 130m+ Lurssen superyacht DEEP BLUE as she moved from the shipyard's Lemwerder facility.

Transported to a floating dock outside the Lurssen Aumund facility, DEEP BLUE was transferred to enable the attachment of her bow, with the previous construction shed simply not being long enough to accommodate her full LOA.

Anticipating a gross tonnage of around 9,000GT, first impressions of the Lurssen motor yacht indicate extensive exterior liveability with walk-around decks, a large infinity pool on the upper deck aft, plus potentially dual helipads on the foredeck and top deck aft.

Now set to undergo finishing stages, DEEP BLUE is not expected to emerge again until she embarks on her sea trials in the North Sea. It is not yet known whether she will become available for  luxury yacht charters .

At first glance, the yacht TV's eye-catching design and grey hull clearly set her apart from her peers. Once onboard this Lurssen yacht you easily feel that this also applies to her interior and makes her a wonderful yacht for charter. On the one hand, the huge private area on the owner's deck with its own Jacuzzi and sunbathing spaces underlines the privacy of this yacht. On the other hand, she is also built to entertain a large amount of guests with plenty of space for different salons, dining and relaxation areas. The dedicated spa area expands onto a large fold-down sea terrace which allows the guests to go from a swim to the sauna, on to massage treatments and to the hammam inside/outside gym activities, all in a matter of seconds. The Master Suite is Located forward on the owners deck with a forward panoramic view it features a king sized bed with his & her baths, a private owner's office and private Jacuzzi area forward.  Just aft of the owner’s suite is a double guest room with an ensuite bathroom featuring a shower.  The main deck features 5 king-sized VIP Suites all with full height windows and 1 twin convertible twin cabin also with full height windows.  In addition there are 2 single staff cabins on the bridge deck. Special features: On the lower deck there is health sap featuring a fully equipped gymnasium, beauty salon, sauna and massage room On the sundeck there is a 16 person Jacuzzi and contra flow pool, a cinema is located on the main deck that can be converted into a children’s playroom if necessary

SuperYacht ROCINANTE (ex TV, Madsummer) is a celebrated 78.33m (256' 11") Lurssen-built and Espen Oeino-designed, full-displacement, high volume luxury yacht which was launched in 2008. ROCINANTE is an exceptional vessel that was formally known by the name TV. She is a very large private yacht which provides her lucky guests with everything they could desire and wish for. An often admired yacht, ROCINANTE is interesting, unique and identifiable with her custom exterior design and sheer size. She provides a total of 9 staterooms for 12 guests.

NOTABLE FEATURES: ~ large owner deck with beautiful master suite, office, lounge area and Jacuzzi ~ lovely guest suites ~ plenty of areas to dine both indoor and outdoors ~ entertainment areas including cinema ~ gymnasium ~ swim platform/beach club ~ hammam, spa and massage facilities ~ great selection of toys

Her interior design was created by Alberto Pinto and it could be described as is clean and fresh, yet colourful and ambient. Alberto Pinto has worked on hotels, residences, yachts and jets and he typically borrows from various cultural influences and "has built his works on the interbreeding and mixture of genders from more than baroque to less than bare".

As is increasingly desirable in a modern superyacht of this length and volume, ROCINANTE has a full owner suite which is situated forward on the yacht (for panoramic views) on the owner's deck. In this private area, which is separated from other guests, there is a large master bedroom with a king-sized bed and his & hers ensuite bathroom. There is also an owner's office and private balcony and Spa Pool area forward.

ROCINANTE Specifications

While ROCINANTE offers intimate privacy if desired, she has been specifically designed by naval architect Espen Oeino for socialising and entertaining for a large number of guests. She offers plenty of space for different uses in her common area saloons, dining and relaxation areas, and her outdoor areas are very impressive. For further entertainment on her main deck, an indoor cinema can also be converted into a children’s playroom where required.

The vessel's sundeck area features a large outside Spa Pool pool with a capacity of 16 persons and a contraflow swimming pool. The yacht's lower deck accommodates a health spa facility including a beauty salon, a sauna and massage room and a fully equipped gymnasium for health and fitness. This dedicated health and spa area expand onto a large fold-down sea terrace on the aft for guests to enjoy a relaxing sauna or to receiving massage treatments, unwind in the hammam or engage in gym activities.

One of the world’s largest superyachts just hit the water.

Lürssen’s mighty new 525-footer, christened Blue , left the Bremen yard in Germany on Saturday, July 2, after successfully completing her sea trials in late June. The behemoth is now the fifth-longest superyacht in the global fleet and one of the biggest in the world in terms of volume. In fact, she offers a giant interior of 14,785 GT.

Size isn’t the only thing that matters, though. The shipyard says Blue was designed to be as efficient and eco-friendly as possible. She is equipped with a diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system that was developed in-house. In addition, the behemoth vessel is fitted with a high-tech exhaust system that reduces noise, vibrations and emissions, according to the yard. She also sports an innovative wastewater treatment plant that allows treated wastewater to be safely disposed of in “drinking water quality.”

The team from Terence Disdale Design worked with Lürssen to create the yacht’s sleek, contemporary exterior and traditional interior. You can, of course, expect a laundry list of amenities, including not one but two helipads and a huge swim platform aft that connects to a beach club. Lürssen did not share any details regarding Blue ‘s exact layout, but there will no doubt be cabins and lounges aplenty.

“We are very proud of Blue as yet another statement of Lürssen’s ability and desire to build yachts that meet all of our exacting owners’ requirements, guided by our core focus of expert engineering, beautiful design and being a proud market leader in developing sustainable technologies,” managing partner Peter Lürssen said in a statement .

Of course, Lürssen has proven itself adept at delivering sizable superyachts. In fact, the German yard is responsible for 13 out of the 25 top builds in the industry. That includes the world’s longest superyacht, Azzam , which measures just shy of 593 feet and offers a volume of 13,136 GT.

Blue is now en route to the Mediterranean where she will enjoy her very first season with her new owners.

The 160-metre yacht BLUE has been given a contemporary exterior and a traditional, fresh interior design, both by Terence Disdale Design. Efficiency and the desire to be as environmentally friendly as possible were key drivers for the technology on board. BLUE is equipped with a highly efficient Diesel-Electric Hybrid Propulsion Concept developed by Lürssen’s own engineering specialists. The yacht also has an electric Azimuth Pod Drive, which in electric mode can be used separately, or when the PTI units are engaged, with the two propeller shafts. In order to generate less noise and vibration and reduce nitrogen oxide levels, BLUE is completed with a state-of-the-art exhaust after-treatment system. Furthermore, the wastewater treatment plant is equipped with new membrane technology that allows the treated wastewater to be safely disposed of in ‘drinking water quality’.

Lürssen's 82m Project Cali officially christened Haven

Lürssen 's Project Cali has officially been christened Haven . The 82-metre superyacht was last seen snaking down the Kiel Canal in northern Germany in preparation for sea trials, with delivery imminent.

Designed in-house by Jim Robert Sluijter, Haven is characterised by a reverse bow and expansive deck spaces that place a "great emphasis on outdoor conviviality".

Speaking to BOAT International at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show , Sluijter said the project had been designed for a family-orientated and active client. While full details are yet to be disclosed, her interiors will be RWD -designed.

Haven 's sundeck spans an impressive 30 metres, while her beach club benefits from fold-down platforms that create sea terraces port and starboard. Other highlights include an al fresco dining area with a barbecue, pizza oven and outdoor cinema. Key numbers include a draught of 3.5 metres and beam of 12.5 metres.

According to BOATPro , Lürssen has nine yachts currently under construction. This includes the 122-metre Kismet , which is expected to see delivery any day now.
