Company History

Friends from College, engineers Stephan Constance and Xavier Desmarest shared a common dream of a long journey under sail. To implement the planned you need to find the right yacht as from the point of view of the limited budget, and a number of other parameters. After a long search and questioning other travelers, it turned out that the yacht that meets all the needs of dreamers, simply does not exist. This was the reason for the creation Allures Yachting in 2003.

In 2004 was established the management company of Grand Large Yachting, which was engaged in business development. In 2007 was acquired by the Outremer shipyard that produces cruise catamarans. This was followed by the Garcia shipyard, specialized in high-end aluminum yachts of large size and manufacturer of aluminum boats for fishing Aluboat. In addition, were open service, Charter and brokerage direction. 2013 Grand Large Yachting is actively working in the U.S. market. In 2016, the company acquired the odious American manufacturer chic >catamarans Gunboat.

Range of models Allures traditionally does not strike wide. The company is betting on opportunities in customised yacht. This was made possible thanks to the robust enclosures made of aluminium, which does not require additional reinforcement bulkheads. Two versions for the same passion

Allures Yachting doubles its offering and widens the range of possibilities for its best-selling yacht. Performance and low draught have always been in the DNA of each model created by Allures.

The new lifting keel version available today along with the legendary centreboard version offers an additional variation on the same theme. As safety is paramount for our customers, the stability of both versions is rigorously identical. With identical sail surface and mast height, the lifting keel version features a 2280 kg lighter ballast, when centreboard allows it to beach in total autonomy.

Constantly aiming for excellence...

With its centred winches on the cokpit, positioned at ideal height, the ergonomic cockpit allows easier and safer manoeuvring, perfect for sailing with a small crew. The entirely composite deck ensures better weight distribution, thereby optimising performance and seafaring experience.

Key elemens of blue water yachts, favoured by our seafaring customers are the standard spacious forward sail locker forming the crash box and technical room at the back. Accessible from the interior and from the deck through a watertight hatch, the technical room comes equipped with a standard number of storage cupboards.

Constantly aiming for perfection, the smallest details receive just a much attention:

- Large capacity water and fuel tanks,

- Aluminium sea-cocks below and above the waterline

- Technical locker between the two cabins suitable to accomodate a power generator + a washing machine,

With the Allures 51.9, designers were given the task of bringing Allures Yachting into the prestigious world of the ocean cruising yacht. If all the functions usually required are found on such a boat in general, and more particularly on an Allures of course, then an increase in length makes it possible to even offer more.

More performance at sea thanks to an increased waterline length. More comfort thantks to a large cockpit and easy access to the side-decks, a large sunbathing area and a retractable bathing platform on the sugarscoop. More protection with an optional rigid bimini to secure the watchkeeper in all condition. And more hergonomics with station grouping all the manoeuvres necessary for sailing with a reduced crew, in particular thanks to the positioning of the winches near the helmsman.

On board the Allures 51.9, the seamanlike nature and the practicality of the fittings compete with the purity of the lines and elegance of contemporary design furniture, initiated by Isabelle Racoupeau. Ergonomics of the different functions, fluidity of movement, and multiple living areas offer a place for everyone, and for every moment:

Description.

This boat can be built to order for delivery. The Allures 40.9 is a lifting keel yacht with aluminium hull and composite superstructure. Created from very strict specifications and prepared on the basis of feedback from numerous circumnavigators, this vessel brings together all the characteristics of a genuine blue-water yacht.

The Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design studio has perfected a modern hull, wide, powerful and with the maximum waterline length. A guarantee of speed in the water which opens all horizons: smooth sailing under the trade winds to heavenly islands or tacking in Scandinavian fjords. Its significant load capacity and its large diesel tank ensure complete autonomy to let you discover new horizons, without limits.

Aluminium hull, ease of manoeuvring, performance, twin helms, visibility from the saloon, lifting keel, faired superstructure, large storage spaces, technical room, separate shower, dual chart table, deck lockers, saloon with ocean view… All the arguments are there.

A guarantee of safety, all manoeuvres are controlled from the cockpit. Spacious and deep, the cockpit offers optimum ergonomics both at rest and during manoeuvres. Thus, the placement of the winches allows ideal positioning regardless of the speed or the sea conditions.

Inside she sports a very roomy light and well thought out interior given all the quality creative touches as usual from a manufacturer who is catering for comfort, performance, looks and practicality.

Accommodation is fresh and modern. The standard layout is a 2 cabin version with a large technical/equipment locker/cabin. A 3 cabin version is an extra option along with a second bathroom.
