Luxury Motor Yacht INDIA (ex Dry Spirit), was launched by the famous Italian shipyard Benetti in 1982 and completed a refit in 2022. INDIA boasts a large sundeck complete with chaise lounges, full beam outdoor sofa, ample space for entertaining and a further alfresco dining table with optional Bimini cover.

Amanda, just got home from Paris and I am finally able to respond. We all had a great time and had an incredible experience. Every member of the crew was wonderful and a real pleasure to be around. There was not one of them that was not a pleasure and they made the trip even better for all of us. The yacht, itself, was fine and we were all very comfortable; especially those of us in the bigger rooms. The itinerary was very good and although we started out thinking that we wanted to spend time in the larger places, like Positano, Sorrento, Capri, etc...; in fact we enjoyed the smaller places much more. Bruno spent just the right amount of time in each place and we are thinking about next year, perhaps in Sicily or somewhere south of Amalfi. The 49.9m/163'9" open yacht 'Force India' (ex. Salvaje) was built by Overmarine in Italy at their Viareggio shipyard and she was delivered to her owner in September 2007. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Stefano Righini and she was last refitted in 2017.

Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks, she has impressive speed and great efficiency thanks to her planing hull. Powered by 3 x diesel MTU (16V 4000 M90) 16-cylinder 3,647hp engines running at 2100rpm, she comfortably cruises at 28 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 40 knots with a range of up to 691 nautical miles from her 40,337 litre fuel tanks. Her low draft of 1.6m/5'3" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Her water tanks store around 3,997 Litres of fresh water. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) ✠A1, Commercial Yachting Service, Ⓔ, AMS classification society rules.

The Dali was less than 30 minutes into its planned 27-day journey when the ship ran into the Francis Scott Key Bridge on Tuesday.

The ship, which was sailing under the Singaporean flag, was on its way to Sri Lanka and was supposed to arrive there on April 22, according to VesselFinder, a ship tracking website.

The Dali, which is nearly 1,000 feet long, left the Baltimore port around 1 a.m. Eastern on Tuesday. The ship had two pilots onboard, according to a statement by its owners, Grace Ocean Investment. There were 22 crew members on board, the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore said in a statement. There were no reports of any injuries, Grace Ocean said.

Before heading off on its voyage, the Dali had returned to the United States from Panama on March 19, harboring in New York. It then arrived on Saturday in Baltimore, where it spent two days in the port.

Maersk, the shipping giant, said in a statement on Tuesday that it had chartered the vessel, which was carrying Maersk cargo. No Maersk crew and personnel were onboard, the statement said, adding that the company was monitoring the investigations being carried out by the authorities and by Synergy Group, the company that was operating the vessel.

“We are horrified by what has happened in Baltimore, and our thoughts are with all of those affected,” the Maersk statement said.

The Dali was built in 2015 by the South Korea-based Hyundai Heavy Industries. The following year, the ship was involved in a minor incident when it hit a stone wall at the port of Antwerp . The Dali sustained damage at the time, but no one was injured.
