ABOUT CATAMARAN BOATS

Catamarans have two hulls and can be either sailing or power boats. With a wide beam, they are very spacious, as well as stable, safe, and fast, making them popular bluewater cruisers. Search for new or used catamarans for sale by all the top brands, and refine the search by price, length, or location. 

Main Characteristics of Catamarans

Catamarans are easily identified by their double hulls (and in the case of trimarans, triple hulls), which make them stand out among more traditional monohull vessels. Catamarans can be either sail or motor vessels, and vary widely in size from beach-launched and dinghy-style beginner catamarans up to superyacht luxury vessels. 

Catamarans have many positive attributes, which are helping them gain popularity throughout the world. Due to their overall wider beam, they offer much more space than a monohull of the same length; for example, a 40-foot catamaran often offers the same space as a 50-foot monohull. They have a unique layout, with larger boats featuring cabins in both hulls and a spacious living space on an above-the-waterline bridgedeck in between the hulls. Many catamarans are also capable of high speeds, especially in a straight line, which makes them popular to race as well as cruise for long distances.

When it comes to safety, catamarans are highly regarded as being virtually unsinkable thanks to having two hulls, a characteristic valued by bluewater cruisers. While they are extremely stable boats and heel far less than a monohull, in storm-force winds and waves they can capsize. Even then, they are much less likely to sink than a monohull.

Types of Catamaran

Sailing catamarans.

Sailing catamarans dominate the multihull market and have been in production for decades. Sales are seeing a huge boom, however, as sailors realize the safety and space advantages they typically hold over monohull yachts. Sailing cats can be as small as a dinghy, sailed off a beach, such as the one- and two-person Hobie Cats. From there they can range up to multi-cabin vessels with huge above-water living spaces designed for long-range voyages.

Power Catamarans

Also rising in popularity are power catamarans , as owners realize the vast living space that they offer. With their wide beam, they allow for multiple cabins between the two hulls and a light-filled, above-water bridgedeck and cockpits that allow for multiple couples or large families to cruise on a vessel that can also be handled by just two people. 

Cruising and Bluewater Catamarans

There is considerable crossover between bluewater and cruising catamarans, with many suitable for both coastal weekend cruising and around-the-world ocean voyages. When it comes to either, the positive attributes of the catamaran shine through. Both power and sailing catamarans offer dramatically more space in the same length of boat as a monohull, with huge amounts of living space, wraparound views, full-sized galleys, multiple cabins and heads, and spacious decks. They’re fast and sturdy, too, and don’t heel like a standard monohull under sail, offering incredible stability.

Luxury Catamarans

Beautiful examples of luxury catamarans (many of which are semi- or custom-built) are becoming more commonplace, with some classifying as true superyachts. At a smaller scale, luxury catamarans can offer high-spec living spaces, high performance, green propulsion, renewable energy, and the latest innovation. 

Best Catamaran Brands

The catamaran industry is still relatively small compared to that of monohulls, with some key brands paving the way in design and development. As catamarans are favored by many charter companies, some brands such as Lagoon and Leopard produce models for both the charter and private owner market with different layouts. These are big names in the catamaran industry, with a fleet of sturdy, well-designed sailing and motor cats in the 40-60-foot sector. 

Within the competitive 40- to 60-foot sector the French company Fountaine-Pajot has been in the industry for over four decades and is also highly regarded for its bluewater cruisers. Other notable brands include Outremer , Catana , Beneteau Excess , Antares, and Xquisite , all designed for long-term livability as well as bluewater cruising. So too are HH Catamarans and BALI Catamaran s, known for their clever use of interior space. 

On the smaller end of the cruising catamaran sector are top brands with moderate-sized models such as Seawind , Nautitech and Comar . Their models run the gamut from high-performance cats to smart, modestly priced cruisers.

When it comes to motor catamarans, the market is still relatively small but growing year on year. Many of the brands mentioned above also build excellent motor cats to add to their line-up, while brands such as Invincible Boats , Freeman Boatworks , and Aquila Power Catamarans are specializing in fishing and cruising motor cats. 

Why Choose a Catamaran?

Catamarans offer a huge amount of extra space than a monohull of the same length thanks to their wide, double-hull beam. They are also renowned for their stability under sail, and do not keel much. This is ideal for those wanting to cruise gently with friends and family aboard, sail around the world, or for those prone to seasickness.

Although the principles of sailing are the same for both catamarans and monohulls, there are some enormous advantages to safety and comfort for sailing catamarans.

If you are unsure what to look for when inspecting a catamaran, consider hiring a sailing expert or a marine vessel surveyor. They will help you conduct a deep analysis to ensure you settle for the best.

Here are some of the essential features to check out during your inspection:

The Keel, Rudder, and Hull

For effective viewing and inspection, the catamaran should be on land . Although this limits the chances of a sail test, it allows you to inspect the features below the waterline, such as the keel, rudder, and hull .

To conduct your inspection on the outside of the cat, step back and view it from a distance. Does it appear to be well supported by its keels and rudders? Now, move to the front and visualize lines from below the keels to the mast. Is this imaginary triangle in line with the rest of the cat? Walk to the sides and inspect the hull. Is it in good shape, devoid of any distortions that could indicate repairs or weak points?

When inspecting the keel and the rudder, a damage or repair job at the keel’s leading-edge could indicate grounding . 

Grounding is common when sailing, especially in shallow waters, and this should not be a major issue of concern. However, it is important to have such damages inspected by a professional who’ll be able to note their severity depending on the impact of the grounding and the cat’s mode of construction.

Additionally, be sure to check the hull-minikeel joint. If it appears cracked or damaged near the keel edge, it could indicate that the cat was involved in grounding. This may portray other underlying issues.

For the rudder, give it a good shake to study the condition of its hinges. Are they firm enough? Additionally, swing it back and forth; a good rudder should move freely. However, it is important to note that rudders in most older cats are often waterlogged, following several years of use. As a result, they may require rebuilding for the cat to be considered seaworthy.

When inspecting the hull, check out for cases of osmosis blistering . Osmosis blistering manifests as small pockets of water on the fiberglass’ hull surface. However, severe osmosis blistering cases can be an issue of concern as they affect the cat’s seaworthiness. They often interfere with the integrity of the hull as they get worse year after year. Osmosis blistering is not a deal-breaker, but it often diminishes the value of the cat.

Deck, Mast, and Rigging

The deck holds the cat’s hardware, and here, you should be on the lookout for any soft decks. You can inspect the deck by walking around and using your weight to feel any soft or mushy areas under your feet.

A little softness is common in many used catamarans. However, you can easily tell if there is an underlying issue if a given area on one side of the deck feels soft while the corresponding area on the other side is stiff.  

For further inspection, you can use the back end of a screwdriver to tap the suspected areas to assess the damage. If the tap produces a crisp, sharp sound, the deck is probably okay. However, if the sound is dull and thump, there might be an underlying issue.

Take your time and walk through the deck as you inspect the condition of the hardware. Watch out for cracks, crazing, and some weak or stress points on the hardware elements. Also, check  the cockpit where your crew will spend much of their time. Watch out for the stiffness of the seats, locker covers, and the condition of the floor.

Depending on a particular marina or club’s off-season practices, you may find the mast and rigging in place or pulled down and stored. Whichever the case, check out for any cracks or bends on the mast. Also, check for any corrosions and bends on the rigging lines. Do not forget to check the metal hooks and the winch.

The Engine and Sails

When inspecting the engine, make a point of starting it to verify that it works. Look at its general condition. If it seems new and stainless, it may be trouble-free. However, if it’s old and messy, it may indicate a lack of proper maintenance.

You can also check the condition of the engine oil. Is the oil clean? Is it sluggish, or does it have a burnt smell? Dirty oil with a burnt smell may indicate engine problems that may cost you a fortune to repair in the future. Make sure you check the engine hours and if regular maintenance has been done.

You can have a mechanic or sailmaker help you with engine inspection.

As for the sails, ensure that they are not worn out. If they feel crisp and stiff, they are in good condition and have a long lifespan. However, if they have a soft and limp feeling, they may have been overused and in need of replacement. Also, check for rips or stains indicating spilled fluids that could hurt the longevity of the sail.

Electrical Systems and Plumbing

Inspect the electrical system wiring. Check out for potential short circuits by looking for loose wires, frayed wiring, and exposed electrical panels. Ask about the output voltage and any power backups. Ask how old the batteries are, and when they will have to be exchanged; if they are lithium batteries, this can cost multiple thousands of dollars.

With plumbing, take a closer look at the freshwater piping and the waste systems. Are the pipes efficiently installed, or are they blocked or clogged? Do they need repairs? Check out for any leakages, cracks, and possible signs of previous repairs.

Inspect as many cats as you like until you find the one that perfectly suits your needs. Do not be in a rush; take your time!

Make an Offer

After identifying and inspecting a potential pre-owned catamaran, the next step is to make a purchase offer. The purchase offer is often dependent on the status report of the survey. However, there are instances where you make an offer before physically inspecting the cat.

In the Moscow region there is a small cozy town Elektrostal. Its sights for the most part have no historical value due to the fact that the city has a relatively small history. Today the population of the city is 158 thousand people. Until the beginning of the 20th century there were several small workers' settlements here. After the opening of the electrometallurgical and equipment factories, the place began to be called the natural boundary of Calm. The construction of the railway made this settlement accessible, and workers and families flocked here to earn money. In 1925, the station was named Elektrostal, and the rapid increase in population allowed the village to receive the status of a city.

The founder of the city is a prominent Russian industrialist Nikolai Vtorov. It was he who opened the plant here, creating, in fact, a city-forming enterprise that is still operating. In Soviet times, it was a closed facility, and it was not easy to get to work here.

The appearance of the historical and art museum made it possible for residents and guests of the city to learn a lot of useful information about their native land, the formation of the production process, and the difficult years of the war. The exposition consists of paintings by local artists, historical artifacts, household items, documents, books and much more. The collection is updated regularly. Rolex achieved perfection when it turned its attention to redefining the purpose and functionality of the bezel. Typically, a bezel operates independently from the internal mechanism; however, the Ring Command bezel in the Yacht-Master II regatta chronograph operates in conjunction with it.

As a mechanical component linked to the movement, the bezel literally acts as the key to the programmable countdown, allowing it to be set and synchronised to the sequence of race start times. Complex in design, but simple in use, it is functionally beautiful.

A characteristic aesthetic

The Yacht-Master II is equipped with a new dial, and new hands that are characteristic of Rolex Professional models, enhancing legibility and sharpening its aesthetic appeal. The dial now features a triangular hour marker at 12 o’clock and a rectangular hour marker at 6 o’clock for more intuitive reading of the watch.

A luminescent disc on the hour hand clearly distinguishes it from the minute hand. The Yacht-Master II’s countdown can be programmed for a duration of between 1 and 10 minutes. The programming is memorized by the mechanism so that at a reset it returns to the previous setting. Once launched, the countdown can be synchronized on the fly to match the official race countdown.

While it's tempting to opt for the V8, our own testing and that of other outlets tells us the V6 is a refined powerplant with solid durability, and the newer eight-speed transmission is a much better choice than the less reliable six-speed.

Best used car under $20,000: 2016-2019 chevrolet volt.

Move up one price bracket and you can score a second-generation Chevy Volt instead of the first-gen. The bodywork got swoopier, the noise pointier, the engine downsized and the overall package got more efficient in 2016. Electric range improved from 38 in 2015 to 53 in 2016, meaning more of your miles will be on battery power instead of using more expensive gasoline.

Best used car under $20,000 if you don't want a Chevy or don't want to plug in: 2015-2018 Toyota Prius

We'd argue that the Volt is more stylish and more fun to drive than the Toyota Prius , but it's hard to argue against the hybrid's overall efficiency and expected reliability. The Prius was into its fourth generation by the 2015 model year, and the overall package was more refined than ever. Don't expect to find a plug-in Prius Prime (which debuted in 2017) in this price range, though.

Best used car under $20,000 that's more fun to drive: 2018-2021 Mazda6

The Mazda6 may have ended production in 2021 as the compact crossover took over from the midsize sedan as the vehicle design of choice for the majority of Americans, but it's still an excellent vehicle worth pursuing on the used-vehicle market. It had long been the best-driving car in its segment, its four-cylinder engine options were strong enough to have fun but efficient enough not to break the bank.

Best used electric car under $20,000: 2017-2018 BMW i3

The BMW i3 is nothing if not interesting. Its Lego-block styling isn't to everyone's liking, and even the upgraded 94ah battery the BMW EV got in 2017 won't offer the kind of capacity that makes range anxiety disappear completely, but if your daily commute is 100 miles or less, the i3 may be an interesting option. The boxy hatchback is surprisingly roomy inside, and the interior is almost Scandinavian in its design. Much of the car's structure is made from lightweight carbon fiber, which is pretty exotic for an urban runabout like the i3. Potential buyers should be aware that the German BMW will likely carry higher repair and maintenance bills than a comparable American or Japanese car.

Best used SUV under $20,000: 2017-2018 Honda CR-V

It's hard to go wrong with a Honda CR-V that's been well cared for by its previous owner. The fifth generation of Honda's compact crossover debuted for the 2017 model year with more room, more comfort, more efficiency and, importantly, more safety equipment than ever before. The 1.5-liter turbocharged engine is the most efficient choice, while a 2.0-liter engine is less common. The automatic is a CVT, but it's better than most competitors and not really a hindrance.

Best used SUV under $20,000 if you need three rows: 2016-2017 Mazda CX-9

Need something larger? Consider the Mazda CX-9 . Not only does it offer three rows of reasonably sized passenger space, it's also pretty fun to drive. In fact, we think it's the best-driving seven-passenger crossover on the market. It's powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, and while it's not quite as powerful as some vehicles it competes with, it's plenty sufficient.

Best used pickup truck under $20,000: 2016-2018 Chevrolet Silverado

Pretty much any of the American pickup trucks of the late 20-teens will serve buyers well, but GM's mainstream truck is slightly more affordable than its competitor from Ford, which went to a lightweight aluminum body for the 2015 model year. The Toyota Tundra would also be a solid choice, but fewer were sold each year and they tend to trade at higher prices compared to the ubiquitous Detroit trucks. That's why we're pointing our digital finger at the Chevy Silverado. As the second-best-selling truck, they are very easy to find, so prospective buyers ought to have a few options to choose from. Their V8 engine options are all very solid and have well-earned reputations for durability.

Best used pickup truck under $20,000 if you want something smaller: 2009-2019 Nissan Frontier

Don't need a full-size truck? The Nissan Frontier that seemingly sold for eons is a solid pickup. It boasts a powerful V6 engine, rugged good looks and a rugged chassis to boot. We didn't have to look hard to find late-model Frontier trucks with reasonable mileage in the $20,000 range. Going back a few years should still result in a bevy of choices in various cabin sizes and with or without four-wheel drive. The 2020 edition got a new engine, but buyers in this price bracket may want to consider sticking with the tried-and-true 4.0-liter V6 of previous years. A six-speed manual was even available, a boon for buyers who prefer to shift for themselves.

Best used car under $25,000: 2019-2022 mazda3.

The Mazda3 is a great car. It's offered in either sedan or our preferred hatchback form, and it has a perfect blend of driving enjoyment and practicality. There's a reasonable amount of room inside for people and cargo, but buyers who need more space may want to look for something bigger (like the Subaru we'll mention shortly). Since it's a late-model option, the 2019-2022 Mazda3 offers pretty much all the latest safety tech a buyer could wish for (but no self-driving functionality, of course), and should prove reliable for years to come.

Best used hybrid car under $25,000: 2020-2022 Toyota Corolla Hybrid

If saving money at the gas pump is of prime concern, we'd suggest taking a good hard look at the Toyota Corolla Hybrid. Toyota has been the undisputed king of hybrids for decades now, and all their best Prius-based tech can be had in a more normal-looking and feeling package in the form of the compact Corolla. Expect fuel mileage in the mid-to-high 40s for most Corolla Hybrid models.

Best used car under $25,000 with all-wheel drive: 2020-2022 Subaru Legacy

The Subaru Legacy is also a solid choice for buyers looking for a nice car for less than $25,000. You may know that the hot-selling Subaru Outback is based on the Legacy, but you may not know how much more an Outback costs on the used market until you take a look at the online classifieds. In reality, though, the Legacy is fitted with standard all-wheel drive and offers just as much all-weather dependability and spaciousness as the pricier Outback, and because it's lower to the ground, it's more fuel efficient.

Best used hot hatchback under $25,000: 2015-2019 Volkswagen Golf R

You can really have some fun in the $25,000 price range. The Volkswagen Golf R is a blast  with 290 turbocharged horsepower and all-wheel drive catapulting a little German hatchback at breakneck speeds. It's the hottest version of the quintessential hot hatch, and it's a riot. You can also save some cash and get a GTI, which is also a fun choice.

Best used muscle car under $25,000: 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T

If your tastes run a little more muscular, now would be a good time to take a look over at the Dodge lineup. For $25,000, buyers can snag a lovely Challenger R/T — yes, it's got a Hemi — or if they need a bigger back seat and two more doors, a Charger. Now, we should mention that these Dodge twins are riding atop very old underpinnings and are anything but fuel efficient. But that's kinda the point. If you're more interesting in laying rubber than slicing fuel bills, the Challenger and Charger are there for you.

Best used SUV under $25,000: 2014-2019 Subaru Outback

We know. You'd really rather have an SUV than a sedan. It's a common refrain, and we get it. The added utility of a crossover and the promise of all-weather capabilities is appealing. We still think you should take a look at the most recent Subaru Legacy, but if you'd rather have an Outback, that's OK. Just know you'll have to go back a generation to snag an Outback in this list's budget price category.

Best used SUV under $25,000 that really is an SUV: 2010-2016 Toyota 4Runner

Of course, we've already explained that the Outback is basically a Subaru Legacy underneath. If what you want is a real traditional sport utility vehicle, the Toyota 4Runner is one of the best out there. It's super rugged underneath and is powered by big, burly 4.0-liter V6 engines. Five occupants fit comfortably, and some models have a mostly usable third row, too. Do be aware that the 4Runner doesn't just look like a proper SUV, it is a proper SUV. That means it rides like an SUV and guzzles fuel like and SUV.

Best used crossover that won't kill you on fuel bills: 2018-2020 Toyota RAV4 and RAV4 Hybrid

A more traditional compact crossover experience can be found in the Toyota RAV4, and the 2018-2020 edition is a much nicer overall package than the models that came before. The ride is good, the handling is solid, and the powertrains offer a solid compromise between performance and efficiency. There's a lot to like in these RAV4s. If you want to reduce your fuel bill, the RAV4 Hybrid also falls into the price range we're considering.

Best used pickup truck under $25,000: 2015-2019 Ford F-150

For around $25,000, the best used pickup truck is the Ford F-150. We'd specifically look for a 2015 or later model to take advantage of the lighter weight and great capability offered by the aluminum-intensive construction Ford switched to starting that year. There are capable V6 engine options, up-level EcoBoost sixes in two sizes, and a durable 5.0-liter V8 engine to choose from. Naturally, buyers can pick between multiple cab and bed lengths, two- or four-wheel drive, and from all manner of trim levels that range from work truck-spec to full-zoot cowboy. If you're on a budget, aim for an XLT model for a solid compromise between price and equipment levels.

Best used pickup truck under $25,000 if you want something smaller: 2016-2019 Toyota Tacoma

The Toyota Tacoma is the best-selling midsize truck in America, and that means there are plenty to choose from. A redesign for the 2016 model year brought about welcome changes inside, out and underneath that make it a better truck than the models that came before. It's known to be a reliable machine with legitimate off-road capabilities when properly equipped, but it's not very comfortable. We'd suggest taking the Tacoma for an extended drive before signing on the dotted line, just to make sure you fit well in its low-slung cockpit and seats.

Best used pickup truck under $25,000 if you want a car-like experience: 2017-2019 Honda Ridgeline

If we had to pick one smaller truck to drive every single day and didn't need to tow more than 5,000 pounds or so, we'd go with the Honda Ridgeline. Unlike the similarly sized and priced Toyota Tacoma, the Honda Ridgeline uses a unibody chassis design that shares a lot of components with the Honda Pilot crossover. It's a lot more comfortable and quite a bit more efficient than most other trucks, and it can do more work than some would-be buyers give it credit for. Well worth a look if you're a casual pickup user.

1 Magnificent Artificial Intelligence (AI) Stock to Buy in May

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a new tool for most companies, but not for Lemonade (NYSE: LMND) . It has used the technology to transform the insurance industry since 2015, and it's resonating with consumers who are fed up with traditional practices.

Lemonade uses AI to autonomously write quotes, process claims, calculate premiums, and even to determine where it should invest its marketing dollars. The end result is an insurance platform that is both more convenient and cheaper (in many cases) for customers.

The stock is trading 89% below its all-time high set during the tech frenzy in 2021. Its valuation was a little irrational back then, but the company has grown significantly across all metrics ever since. In fact, after it recently reported financial results for the first quarter of 2024, the stock immediately popped 10% in after-hours trading.

Here's why Lemonade could carry that momentum through the rest of May -- and beyond.

Recreating the insurance experience with AI

Lemonade had nearly 2.1 million customers at the end of Q1, which represented an increase of 12.9% from the year-ago period. Studies show it is incredibly popular among younger consumers, including those who might be taking out insurance for the first time. However, the company also pulls many of its customers away from traditional, entrenched insurance giants, which highlights the appetite for change.

Uptake has been rapid considering Lemonade was only founded nine years ago and operates in only five countries: the United States, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and The Netherlands. Lemonade also offers just five products at the moment, including renters' insurance, homeowners' insurance, life insurance, pet insurance, and car insurance. In other words, there is plenty of scope for this company to expand both its product portfolio and its geographic footprint.

As I mentioned at the top, AI is a huge proponent of its success to date. Lemonade's AI chatbot , Maya, can present a quote to a potential customer in under 90 seconds, and its other AI bot, Jim, can pay claims in three minutes without human intervention. It's a welcome departure from the traditional claims process which often involves multiple phone calls and lengthy waiting periods.

But Lemonade's use of AI runs much deeper than the customer experience. The company launched its Lifetime Value 6 (LTV 6) model in 2022, which predicted things like customer churn rates, the likelihood of a claim, and the likelihood of a customer buying multiple policies, in order to price premiums more accurately. Plus, it analyzed the performance of products and geographic markets to help Lemonade pivot its marketing strategies more quickly. The company is now using LTV 9, with each new version more accurate than the last.

AI also helps Lemonade manage core metrics like its loss adjustment expense (LAE) ratio, which measures the cost of managing claims. An LAE of 10% is typical across the insurance industry, but Lemonade's is just 7.6% thanks in part to its highly automated claims process. In fact, Lemonade was able to shrink its headcount by 11% over the past year even though its insurance book surged 22%, which is a testament to the power of AI.

Growing revenue and shrinking losses are a recipe for happy investors

Lemonade's in-force premiums (the total value of all active policies) hit a record-high of $794 million in Q1, which was up 21.5% year over year. At the very same time, its gross loss ratio fell eight percentage points to 79%, and it's on a clear trajectory toward the company's long-term target of 75%.

The gross loss ratio measures how much Lemonade pays out in claims as a percentage of the premiums it takes in, and 75% or below tends to be the sweet spot for a thriving insurance business. There will be bumps along Lemonade's journey to that target when it enters new countries and releases new products, because it takes time to achieve scale.

Lemonade's average premium per customer also hit a record high of $379 in Q1, and it has climbed consistently over the past couple of years as more customers opt for multiple policies.

All of the above translated to record revenue of $119.1 million in Q1, which represented growth of 25.1% compared to Q1 2023. Considering the company's operating costs only increased by 2.7%, Lemonade managed to reduce its net loss by 28.1% to just $47.3 million.

Reaching profitability has been a focus for Lemonade's investors, and management now expects it could be cash flow positive by the end of 2024. That was brought forward from the prior guidance that suggested Q1 2025, and it's a key reason Lemonade stock popped 10% following its earnings report. The milestone will ensure the company can stand on its own two feet without requiring further capital injections.

Why Lemonade stock is a buy now

As I touched on earlier, Lemonade stock is down 89% from its all-time high of $164. Investors carried its valuation to unrealistic heights during 2021 amid a frenzy in the tech sector, but its subsequent decline might present a golden opportunity considering the strong progress in the company's underlying business.

Plus, Lemonade's opportunities in the insurance business are gigantic. The U.S. car insurance industry alone is projected to bring in $364.9 billion in revenue during 2024, so the company has barely scratched the surface of its addressable market.

Based on Lemonade's trailing-12-month revenue of $453.7 million and its current market capitalization of $1.3 billion, its stock trades at a price-to-sales (P/S) ratio of just 2.8. That's nearly the cheapest level since the company went public four years ago:

Insurance is a product most people buy forever, and Lemonade's focus on technology is attracting younger customer cohorts who could have the highest lifetime value. Plus, the company has barely penetrated the markets in which it currently operates, and there are so many others it hasn't even entered yet.

As a result, Lemonade stock might be a great buy right now, especially after its strong Q1 report.
