The all-new Sunseeker 100 Yacht is the epitome of a luxury yacht. Powered by MTU 12V 2000 M96X as standard or MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines as an option, the 100 Yacht accommodates up to twelve guests and five crew in complete luxury, reaching speeds of up to 30 knots.

A striking Owner Stateroom forward with a private bow terrace, sunbathing hideaways, a breathtaking single-level exterior deck from flybridge to foredeck, a beautifully proportioned open-plan interior and generous ‘Beach Club’, just a few of her magnificent features. 

The revolutionary Sunseeker ‘Beach Club’ provides an exceptional area to relax at water level. The tender garage can accommodate a Williams 460 Sportjet and GTX255 jet ski, with plentiful stowage for SeaBobs, diving equipment and paddleboards. The innovative X-TEND™ system offers several seating arrangements, facing aft in its lowered position or, at the flick of a switch, forward at cockpit level.

The vast flybridge on board the 100 Yacht flows seamlessly into the foredeck with uninterrupted walk-around access on both sides. The foredeck provides a social space with two separate seating arrangements plus an oversized sunpad. The essential raised pilot house, central to this yacht’s innovative design, incorporates a glazed sliding door aft, allowing uninterrupted views forward from the flybridge.  

Its unique main deck, penthouse-style saloon and luxurious staterooms offer a new-found design direction and material selection providing elegant interiors to enchant any owner. The layering of textural elements and the mix of furnishings and fabrics feels timeless with a modern twist that exudes simplicity and sophistication. Floor-to-ceiling glazing floods the generous saloon with natural daylight, complemented by sliding doors to starboard, helping to bring the outdoors in. A stunning feature wall forward of the dining room showcases exposed and seemingly floating stair treads leading to the wheelhouse above on the port side and lower deck access to starboard. The large, fully equipped galley forward is concealed behind a feature bulkhead, and offers plentiful space and direct side deck access for crew.

The unique main deck layout includes the Owner's Stateroom forward for even greater flexibility and freedom on board. This full-beam stateroom offers a large lobby entrance, walk-in wardrobe with feature shelving, an office and generous en suite. Bathed in natural light courtesy of expansive panoramic glazing, owners can access a first-in-class bow terrace for ultimate privacy through a cleverly sculptured, fully-glazed sliding door forward.

The yacht can be specified as a four or five cabin boat, ideal for the charter market. In either case, the twin amidship cabins can be fitted with Pullman berths for added flexibility. The crew cabin is also worthy of mention, featuring a Captain’s cabin with en suite, two twins each with en suite, a highly specified crew mess.

The Sunseeker 100 Yacht is set to usher in what the British yard calls a “new era” in flybridge design. We jumped on board during its Cannes 2022 debut...

Aggressively styled, with an unbroken window line that seems to separate the superstructure from the hull, the new 100 Yacht’s potent three-dimensional aesthetic generates huge visual impact.

But what really sets the new Sunseeker 100 Yacht apart is not so much its style as its thought-provoking reinterpretation of the tri-deck layout.

By creating a full-beam walkaround upper level with easy fore-and-aft access to the foredeck lounge, the new Sunseeker’s flybridge is able to encompass almost the entire boat’s length.

It runs, obstruction-free, all the way from the main deck transom steps to the owner’s forward terrace, providing complete walkaround access from bow to stern.

It looks well equipped in terms of entertaining options too. In addition to the flybridge ’s central dinette, there’s plenty of space for an optional helm station, free-standing loungers, wet bar and Jacuzzi.

And the foredeck itself also offers two separate seating arrangements, as well as the option of a laser projector and a 140-inch cinema screen for lazy evenings at anchor. Back down on the main deck, the forward owner’s suite leverages the full scale of the yacht’s beam.

In addition to floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides, it also includes a sliding glass door that leads out onto the owner’s private foredeck terrace. And for everyone else, the lower deck provides lavish ensuite accommodation for up to eight guests.

The crew have their own space in the bow with separate access to the galley and three small ensuite cabins.

Other key features include a raised pilothouse with a glass aft bulkhead that allows guests an uninterrupted view forward from the flybridge, and a ‘penthouse style’ saloon with floor to ceiling windows formal dining for eight, an impressive aft lounging area to port, plus an optional sliding door to starboard.

And when you step out into the big aft cockpit, the recreational flexibility is equally well considered. While the floodable tender garage is large enough for a Williams 460 Sportjet, plus jetski and Seabobs, it can also be converted into a decadent Beach Club with built-in barbecue, rain shower and sunlougers, similar to the recently-launched Sunseeker 90 Ocean .

Available either with MTU 12V 2000 M96X engines or MTU 16V 2000 M96Ls, the Sunseeker 100 Yacht has an estimated top speed of around 29 knots.

The 100 Yacht will sneak in just below the 24m waterline length, ensuring it is classed as an RCD Category A leisure vessel rather than having to meet the more onerous regulations for a superyacht .

This Oyster 565 is borne from 43 years of experience building over 120 Oyster 56 and Oyster 575 blue water sailing yachts. From long-distance liveaboard sailing to coastal family cruising, the Oyster 565 makes it all possible. What’s more, with contemporary interiors that can be modified to suit you, you’ll have your pick of joinery, leathers and fabrics to become your on-the-water home. OYSTER 565 EXTERIOR

We understand our owners’ visions to create to perfect yacht. That’s why the Oyster 565 can be built with a variety of different rig configurations and two possible deck plans.

A standard Oyster 565 sail plan for short-handed sailing includes in-mast furling and 105% blade headsail, allowing for easy manoeuvring and sail-handling wherever you are in the world, from relaxed cruising to a global circumnavigation, such as in the  Oyster World Rally .

There is also the option to configure the yacht with a ‘sports pack’ for performance cruising, optimising your Oyster 565 for fast long-distance cruising or sailing events such as the Oyster Regatta.

Keel Options

The Oyster 565’s twin rudder hull form can be combined with a supershoal centreboard for safe shallow-water sailing.

There is an also option for an extended transom which provides large and open aft-deck space for entertaining. This also creates greater storage space ideal for long-distance blue water sailing.

The sailing yacht design of the Oyster 565 can also be customised with a large hydraulic bathing platform, providing quick and easy access to the water when the yacht is at anchor.

Our traditional layout positions the master cabin aft, with the two guest cabins forward and a utility cabin which can be lengthened to include an additional berth.

In addition to the midship Seascape windows, which come as standard on all of our G6 range, you can choose to add Seascape windows into the master cabin.

Layout 2 - Master Cabin Forward

The Oyster 565 can be configured with the master cabin forward - a first in Oyster’s yacht design history. This format means the aft section can either stay as one large cabin or be adapted into two double cabins, depending on the number of guests you envisage to have on board with you.

AB Yachts’ Speedy Superyacht

Dating back to its founding 30 years ago, AB Yachts has focused on high-performance yachts equipped with water jets. Given that AB Yachts is an Italian shipyard, that emphasis on speed comes packaged with sleek styling. The builder continues to add larger models, and when it launched Hull No. 1 of its 100-foot AB 100 series in 2016, it announced a 52-knot top-end speed. Other semicustom maxis existed in this size range, but none clocked on the radar gun quite like this one did. Advances in engine technology and lightweight construction have since allowed the shipyard to make the yacht even faster. The same series is now reportedly capable of a 54-knot maximum speed.

Which wasn’t enough for one particular customer—or for AB Yachts.

Together, they created the AB 100 Superfast, with what the yard says is a 59-knot maximum velocity and a cruising speed of 53 knots. This makes the AB 100 Superfast not just the fastest boat in the builder’s range but also a boat that’s faster than most, if not all, other yachts of its size from any shipyard. In fact, the AB 100 Superfast’s top speed is about 25 knots higher than that of other high-profile maxis in the 100- to 110-foot range.

The owner and shipyard shared the belief that an invitation to customize a semicustom yacht should indeed mean customization. AB Yachts allows clients to tailor exterior styling and interior design, and the AB 100 Superfast differs from its predecessor in several ways. The avid cruiser wanted to take his personal bond with the sea to a higher level. “That was the key goal that we interpreted in the interest of our owner,” says Gennaro Candida De Matteo, the CEO of AB Yachts’ parent company, Next Yacht Group.

The first hint is seen in the AB 100 Superfast’s profile, which has more glass than the AB 100. Along the main deck, the glass is nearly sole-to-ceiling, complemented by glass insets in the lowered bulwarks. The dark tint lends the illusion that the glass wraps uninterrupted from one side of the yacht and around to the other. Belowdecks, the small oval ports are gone, replaced with two long stretches of glass to port and starboard.

Aft, like any large yacht, the AB 100 Superfast has a table and settee. The setup seems unassuming enough for enjoying alfresco meals or the spirited ride. But at the press of a button, both the table and the settee’s backrest lower to ensure that the owner and his guests truly have uninterrupted views when they’re seated inside the open-plan main deck. (On a related note, the owner opted to increase the perception of volume inside by eliminating the bulkhead between the helm and dining area.) A similarly lowering settee backrest is on the flybridge too.

Two more cruise-enhancing surprises are at the waterline. The first: The yacht has a nearly full-beam settee nestled against the transom, providing the ultimate front-row seat to the swimming and water-toy action. Consider it a permanent open-air beach club. The second surprise is how the toys launch.

“This is one of the most interesting features of this boat,” De Matteo says. At the press of a button, the backrest rises up to reveal the garage. The transformer-type swim platform rises too, so a RIB or other toys can slide directly into the water.

When peace and quiet are what the owner and his guests want, they can retire belowdecks, where there are accommodations for eight. This owner chose two twins, a VIP and a full-beam master stateroom. While some maxi opens look and feel tight below, the AB 100 Superfast doesn’t—even with its 22-foot-3-inch beam being comparable to that of slightly larger maxis from other builders. Adding to the owner’s comfort, a port within the picture window in his stateroom opens.

Even with the emphasis on his own enjoyment, the owner and AB Yachts didn’t overlook the practical needs of the four-person crew. For example, stairs by the inside helm—which the owner designed with the shipyard to achieve an automotive-type look in carbon fiber and leather—lead directly down to the Corian-outfitted galley and crew mess. The laundry area is right here as well. The foredeck leisure area, meanwhile, has significant stowage beneath the equally sizable sun bed.

Most people who end up seeing the AB 100 Superfast cutting across the horizon will probably consider the yacht to be a maxed-out maxi. Yes, it is an unabashedly fast yacht—and one of the fastest superyachts in the world to boot. But from the American walnut soles and furnishings to the view-enhancing features and re-imagined use of space, the AB 100 Superfast also reflects a clear, custom vision.

One that just happens to be capable of nearly 60-knot speeds.

Power Punch

The AB 100 Superfast gets its head-turning performance from triple 2,600 hp MANs with water jets. The AB 100, by comparison, had three 1,900 hp MANs and water jets. Kevlar and carbon-fiber construction keep weight down, part of the shipyard’s practice across its models.

American Success Story

While AB Yachts’ American clients are similar to European counterparts in being attracted to speed, the AB 100 series’ 4-foot-3-inch draft has more specifically led to sales stateside. Clients who regularly cruise between South Florida and the Bahamas need the shallow-water access.

Next Yacht Group’s Next Move

GB Investment Holdings, which has interests in artificial intelligence and luxury properties, is AB Yachts’ parent company. It named its yachting division Next Yacht Group to reflect a future focus. It plans to leverage its AI and resort knowledge to improve the yachts and customer experiences.

Ferretti is going bigger and better than ever before. The Italian superyacht builder has revealed its new 100-foot flagship, which will become the largest vessel launched by the team.

The Ferretti 1000 was first floated as a concept at the Boot Dusseldorf boat show in January, but now we’re finally getting the full monty. Well, some more pictures, at least. The 1000 features a sleek, sporty outline, with lateral glass structures aft and amidships that are akin to the other models in her range. But this vessel will set a few Ferretti firsts.

For starters, it will be the shipyard’s first 100 percent wide-body vessel as well as the first to feature a substantial amount of carbon fiber. All of the superstructure, including the hardtop, will be forged from the lightweight material, which means despite the vessel’s size, she’ll still be plenty agile.

The 1000’s exterior was penned by Filippo Salvetti, while her interiors were designed by IdeaeItalia. Inside, the vessel aims to flips the script when it comes to life onboard. Thanks to the revamped stern, there’s 430-square-feet of living space, which have been designed to optimize flow for all you Feng Shui adherents.

“The new concept for onboard flow that has been introduced here is set to become an iconic part of all of the large vessels in the range,” Salvetti said. “Designed with the future in mind, this new creation takes things to the next level for faithful Ferretti Yachts customers.”

The modern interior is highly versatile thanks to a modular layout, which can be customized to suit each owner’s needs. Italian taste shines through in the use of refined hard materials, such as teak and marble, which are juxtaposed by soft furnishings. Meanwhile, large floor-to-ceiling glazed windows promise to saturate the interiors with natural light.

The 1000 can sleep up to 10 seafarers across an owner’s suite on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck, as well as five crew. Elsewhere indoors, there’s a large 100-square-foot galley—which features an electric wall that opens onto a bar, because why not?—and an expansive lounge that overlooks the ocean.

Meanwhile, outdoors, you’ll find an aft beach area complete with a swimming platform and wellness area, along with a spacious flybridge that is connected directly to the forward section. On the starboard side, there’s a generous garage that can accommodate a Williams Sportjet 445 tender, a personal watercraft and two Seabobs.

As for power, the 1000 will be fitted with twin MTU 16V 2000 M86 engines that will see her reach a top speed of 28 knots and cruising speed of 24 knots. Optional extras include a gyroscopic stabilization system and stabilizing fins, which will keep the vessel dead quiet while at anchor and at sea.

100 foot yacht guide: navigating the purchase process.

Superyachts come in a myriad of shapes and sizes, but the 100 foot yacht (just over 30 meters) is a common size range for new buyers. The superyacht category can be characterized by various size ranges depending on who you ask, but  BoatInternational.com  tracks superyacht sales for vessels that are at least 24 meters (78.74 feet) in size. Of course, since superyachts can be over 100 meters in length, a 100 foot yacht is on the smaller end of the category.

Whether you’re seeking to skip from island to island at high speeds or are more interested in leisurely cruising along the coast, there is indeed a yacht that suits your needs and wants. For new buyers, walking through the typical process of narrowing down options based on budget, use cases, guest accommodation requirements and more will be quite useful as you start the buying process. Experienced yacht owners often jump right into the buying process by choosing a shipyard or designer. Either buyer can benefit tremendously by partnering with an experienced yacht broker or salesperson who has intimate knowledge of the yacht category under consideration. 

How should new buyers navigate the buying process? Budget is always a consideration, and buyers should understand that there is always a bigger and more expensive yacht. Understanding total cost of ownership will aid in establishing an accurate budget range.

Next, planned use cases will often help narrow down the yacht type. What is the ideal day on the water for you? Where do you plan to go? What are the necessary amenities or toys onboard? If these questions are difficult to answer, the buyer might benefit from chartering a similar sized yacht to gain experience. While stepping aboard yachts at shipyards and boat shows can be beneficial, nothing can match the experience gained by a week at sea aboard a similar yacht being considered for purchase. 

Yachts in the 100 foot size range will often boast spacious indoor and outdoor living spaces, four or five staterooms accommodating up to 10 guests as well as crew quarters.

Today’s yacht buyer demands a constant connection to the water. As such, interior spaces often include large windows to create an open feel with views of the water always present. Outdoor spaces are designed for luxurious relaxation while enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of the ocean. This furnished contemporary on a deep-water and wide canal with easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean offers a private dock with plenty of room for a 100-foot yacht. There’s also a 500-bottle wine cellar and a waterfront pool, spa and fire pit.

The home is in a subdivision known as the Sanctuary that features 24-hour gated security, private roads and a marine patrol, said listing agent John Poletto, of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty. “People who live here love their privacy and their security. It’s very private, very exclusive.”

Community amenities include 24/7 security and private roads, tennis courts, a children’s play area, a bird/wildlife preserve and a 20-slip boat dock for residents and their guests.

The owners bought the home, which is on a cul-de-sac, as a new spec house and then “renovated it completely and redesigned it,” he said. “The furnishings are exquisite. They know how to finish the details.”

The home is being offered fully furnished, including the artwork and “down to the kitchenware and linens,” Mr. Poletto said. “It fits a lot of what people are looking for today, to have immediate occupancy of a furnished home.”

The entry foyer opens to a double-height great room with a two-story fireplace that overlooks the expansive outdoor space and an island wildlife refuge off in the distance. Other first-floor spaces include wine and bar areas, an office/club room, a dining room and an open kitchen, with a center island that services the family room and a dinette overlooking the pool. 

The home has an “open floor plan that moves easily from room to room,” Mr. Poletto said. 

The upstairs primary bedroom suite features a sitting area, an exercise area with a double steam shower and access to a balcony that overlooks the pool. Other second-floor spaces include a secondary family room and four en-suite bedrooms. 

“The home has always been exceptionally well maintained—and you could easily fit a 100-foot yacht at this property,” Mr. Poletto said.

The upstairs primary bedroom suite features a sitting area, an exercise area with a double steam shower and access to a balcony that overlooks the pool.

The 7,683-square-foot house has five bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and two partial bathrooms. It sits on a 13,698-square-foot lot.

Amenities  

Amenities include a heated pool, a spa that holds 12 people, a poolside fire pit that seats 14, multiple decks and balconies, a 500-bottle wine cellar, a pool table, a double steam shower room with a fitness area, 108 linear feet of dockage, and a three-car, double-height garage.

Community amenities include 24/7 security and private roads, tennis courts, a children’s play area, a bird and wildlife preserve and a 20-slip boat dock for residents and their guests.
