Mrs Traveller and I opted for Yachtsman Grill for a romantic dinner to celebrate our anniversary and I genuinely believe we couldn't have found anywhere better on Nevis. We arrived early to enjoy a sundowner cocktail or two and were welcomed by the staff who... were friendly and attentive but never overbearing. The house cocktails here are both inventive and delicious (you have to try the "Ring 'um, Ding 'um, Sting 'um" just to say that you have!) as is the potent rum punch. Food-wise, I had the crispy calamari to start while Mrs T went for the coconut shrimp: both were excellent. For mains we had BBQ pork ribs and pasta with shrimp and again each was beautifully presented, cooked to perfection and super-tasty. I was flying solo for dessert, but the server brought us two spoons (damn!) with my lava chocolate cake and Bailey's ice cream. Armed with a spoon, my wife couldn't resist the tempatation. I couldn't blame her - this a was a fantastic end to the meal. We truly had the perfect annivesary meal at Yachtsman Grill and I would highly recommend a visit to anyone staying on Nevis. More

We enjoyed a delicious dinner and wine at the Yachtsman Grill last night. It was Friday night and the restaurant was offering low-priced, incredible specials (until the end of January) on lobster rolls, fried seafood platter, pizza, etc. The service was excellent and Denzil and... the entire Yachtsman Grill staff were friendly and attentive. Drink specials were on from 5 pm to 7 pm including two for one Carib beer and select wines. A talented, steel pan musician provided lovely Caribbean music while we dined. We and our fellow customers toasted our good fortune at being in such a peaceful, spectacular, Covid-free location while watching the glorious sunset from our table in beautiful Nevis. More

It's nice to take a break from fine dining to enjoy a pizza, especially when the pizza turns out to be fine dining! Turning out a perfect thin crust pizza in a wood oven is an art, and the woman at the oven is an... artist. The service and ambience were great, so we decided to come back to sample some of their other dishes. Another great meal! Congrats to Yachtsman Grill - keep up the good work. More

I ordered a vegetarian pizza plus BACON, (this was a takeaway) When I opened the box I asked my husband where is the bacon? Guess what,? silly me, there were miniscule crumbled and shredded bits of cooked bacon fat on the pizza, almost invisible to... see but bad, bad, bad, for your health. Next time when you are asked for bacon or advertise bacon as an extra (not free, I might add) Put BACON on the pizza and not crumbs of fat. Never eat them again. More

My wife and our friends ended up here shortly after Covid as it was the only place open and had AMAZING vegan options. We were not let down in any capacity and continue to come back here. The food is absolutely delicious. The vegan options... are the best I’ve in a long time. The vegan’s delight pizza and the spaghetti and beyond meatballs are our go to’s. They also have vegan donuts and breads you can order ahead for and dairy free ice cream that’s delicious The seasoned fries are delicious too. What keeps us coming back though is more than the food. We come back for the outstanding service we receive from Nykiesha, the best wait staff ever! She is so friendly and accommodating even when we ask her to get us 100 different dipping sauces and drink refills. We always come back and hope she’s working, sometimes we will even call ahead to make sure she’s there. Nykiesha is wonderful, I highly recommend asking to be seated with her when you arrive, you will be so happy you did! I can’t say enough good things about her! More

Four of us enjoyed fast, friendly service and a wonderful lunch and dinner at the Yachtsman Grill in Nevis this week. The Yachtsman Grill is located on the beach at the Hamilton Beach Villas in Nevis just down the road from the Four Seasons resort.... The Yachtsman's thin crust "Meat-Lovers" pizza and the cheese and pepperoni pizza. were delicious. We also had fresh, yummy salads, chicken soft tacos and fish tacos and the mahi-mahi special with grilled vegetables . Everything was excellent. More

...on this beautiful Friday night under the full moon in Nevis. The two of us sat down at one of the outdoor tables in clear view of all of the wait staff. The restaurant was not very busy (maybe 15 other customers in all some... of whom had already been served). We waited about 10 minutes for service with no one on staff even acknowledging that we were there and then decided to go home and open our own bottle of wine instead of waiting for the Yachtsman staff to take our order. We had a great meal. Large salad and bruschetta to share. The Mrs. had the Mahi and me the Wahoo, both served similar and with tasty sauce. Mine was a little on the overdone side, but still good. Great server and even spent some time... with the resident cat! Next time we will come back for the pizza, which looked great while peaking into their open kitchen. More

Eight of us ate at Yachtsman Grill twice in our stay on Nevis - first as a takeaway on our first night and then lunch on our last day. Very good thin pizzas and lobster mac n'cheese. Good service, nice atmosphere.

Decided a few years ago that we would not go back to this restaurant. There are so many other options on island but we decided to return after a long hiatus away - again because of the price of some of the items and the... lack of staff ability to read the situation and recover. Had the steak at $45 and my friend ordered the whole snapper @$32. We waited for our orders and received them. My steak was just ok, and my friend’s whole snapper was about 9” long including the head and tail fins. If you know whole snapper then you can appreciate how terribly small that is. A total rip Off for the price. More effort to eat it than it provides in meat. We commented the same to the server at the end of dinner. The server came back 5to the table after having cleared away dinner plates, to ask if my friend wanted another snapper. At that point after having already eaten, it wasn’t a feasible or desirable solution for us to wait again for another snapper to be prepared. We declined and I asked for another glass of red wine for my friend. It Would have been a nice gesture if they had comped that glass for my friend but it was not offered and everything appeared on the bill. We paid in full but have decided we will give this place a pass in future. More

We came to lunch, informed them we were meeting someone they sat us and never came back till like 15 mins after to ask if we are ready to order or continue to wait. We were never offered water or a drink while waiting. We... ordered there was scales all on and inside of my grilled snapper, there was no seasoning, the waitress said thats how its cooked and you season your own fish with salt at the table. Crazy. Mind you im into hospitality as well, holding a position. While still eating the bill we brought to the table without asking which was very weird. There were empty glasses on the table which was never cleared even after sitting there for 30 xtra minutes chatting. A waiter came to the table 5 mins after the bill was dropped off and asked if we took the necessary steps to paying the bill. Please note someone on the table is still eating. We asked why dont you try clearing the table with all the empties, he responded the bill is more important. Up to this day no one cleared the table. We left with everything still on the table. I expected better. I used to love this place. Will not return More

We ate at Yactsman on our holiday for all meals, breakfast was included in our booking, this was fresh and poached eggs just made perfectly. The lunchtime pizza was delicious, and made in their own pizza oven. Dinner was fantastic, great flavours and good quality... ingredients. The only thing I would say is that it is pricey, however I think a lot of the nicer places on the island are comparable More

Some of my favorite dishes include the Lobster Roll, Island Caesar Salad with Scallops, and the Caribbean Pride pizza. I enjoy the wide selection of wines and drinks. The bartenders are well versed in knowledge and can always offer solid advice on a good drink... depending on what you're feeling for. The staff is hospitable and always problem solving oriented. A group of friends and I decided to go for Brunch. Silly ole me forgot to make the reservation for our table of 8. Thankful the restaurant manager, Kisean, was kind enough to ensure that our plans weren't ruined. More

For part of our vacation we stayed at the Four Seasons. The best thing you can do is get off property and explore. One evening we ate at the Yachtsman Grill and I were so happy we did. The fish is wonderfully prepared, not chewy... or dry. Wine selection was decent and not too expensive. The meatball appetizer was not that great. The coconut lime sorbet was a perfect way to end this memorable meal. Come just before Sunset to get the full effect! More

This is by far the most incredible turnaround a restaurant has ever had. The owners have put their hearts into the menu, wine list, decor, and service. The vibe is amazing and the menu keeps getting better every year. On New Year's Eve, they put... off fireworks at 9:00 so people could enjoy before the Four Seasons show. Every year I look forward to going to Nevis because of this restaurant and the friendly faces I see there. Thank you! Katie More

On vous rétorque : attendez deux minutes… puis … puis… puis le café de mon mari sera froid.... Bon heureusement il a été fait par une autre dame t’es gentille. », ce qui rattrape. Par contre les prix sont dignes d un 5 étoiles, mais sans les étoiles… bon ok à présent nous avons pris l habitude d aller dans restaurants locaux où tout simplement à la maison. Super bien localisé, ce restaurant est loin d'un simple restau au bord de la mer. L'ambiance est super et il y a un je ne sais quoi qui fait qu'on a le goût de s'y retrouver. Par contre, la nourriture n'a pas répondu aux attentes.... J'ai eu droit à un plat de pâtes aux fruits de mer beaucoup trop épicé et ma conjointe a pris un burger correct, sans plus. Je suis venu dans cette belle île de Nevis plusieurs fois et jamais pris dans tous les restaurants. Rien ne peut se comparer avec le déjeuner le service à la clientèle et délicieux plats à des prix très raisonnables des vues sur la plage sont... à couper le souffle par nuit et jour et ils pourront toujours aisément faire que de prendre un verre ou un repas l'ambiance est formidable. Quel endroit ! Je suis allée à la grilladerie Yachtsman avec ma famille et nous n'aurions pas pu être plus satisfaits. Le menu propose des choses à rendre plaisir chaque membre de ma famille individuel. J'ai particulièrement aimé le grand choix de vins. Il était... merveilleux que Lisa. J'ai réussi à m'aider à choisir un bouteille de vin pour mon mari et moi-même. Les fruits étaient très frais et délicieux, et décorées avec élégance dun. La pizza était délicieux et le service était parfait. La grilladerie Yachtsman est bien plus qu'un magnifique bar/restaurant de la plage, c'est un délice culinaire. Four of us enjoyed fast, friendly service and a wonderful lunch and dinner at the Yachtsman Grill in Nevis this week. The Yachtsman Grill is located on the beach at the Hamilton Beach Villas in Nevis just down the road from the Four Seasons resort.... The Yachtsman's thin crust "Meat-Lovers" pizza and the cheese and pepperoni pizza. were delicious. We also had fresh, yummy salads, chicken soft tacos and fish tacos and the mahi-mahi special with grilled vegetables . Everything was excellent. More

The restaurant was not very busy (maybe 15 other customers in all some... of whom had already been served). We waited about 10 minutes for service with no one on staff even acknowledging that we were there and then decided to go home and open our own bottle of wine instead of waiting for the Yachtsman staff to take our order. We had a great meal. Large salad and bruschetta to share. The Mrs. had the Mahi and me the Wahoo, both served similar and with tasty sauce. Mine was a little on the overdone side, but still good. Great server and even spent some time... with the resident cat! Next time we will come back for the pizza, which looked great while peaking into their open kitchen. More

Eight of us ate at Yachtsman Grill twice in our stay on Nevis - first as a takeaway on our first night and then lunch on our last day. Very good thin pizzas and lobster mac n'cheese. Good service, nice atmosphere.

Decided a few years ago that we would not go back to this restaurant. There are so many other options on island but we decided to return after a long hiatus away - again because of the price of some of the items and the... lack of staff ability to read the situation and recover. Had the steak at $45 and my friend ordered the whole snapper @$32. We waited for our orders and received them. My steak was just ok, and my friend’s whole snapper was about 9” long including the head and tail fins. If you know whole snapper then you can appreciate how terribly small that is. A total rip Off for the price. More effort to eat it than it provides in meat. We commented the same to the server at the end of dinner. The server came back 5to the table after having cleared away dinner plates, to ask if my friend wanted another snapper. At that point after having already eaten, it wasn’t a feasible or desirable solution for us to wait again for another snapper to be prepared. We declined and I asked for another glass of red wine for my friend. It Would have been a nice gesture if they had comped that glass for my friend but it was not offered and everything appeared on the bill. We paid in full but have decided we will give this place a pass in future. More

We came to lunch, informed them we were meeting someone they sat us and never came back till like 15 mins after to ask if we are ready to order or continue to wait. We were never offered water or a drink while waiting. We... ordered there was scales all on and inside of my grilled snapper, there was no seasoning, the waitress said thats how its cooked and you season your own fish with salt at the table. Crazy. Mind you im into hospitality as well, holding a position. While still eating the bill we brought to the table without asking which was very weird. There were empty glasses on the table which was never cleared even after sitting there for 30 xtra minutes chatting. A waiter came to the table 5 mins after the bill was dropped off and asked if we took the necessary steps to paying the bill. Please note someone on the table is still eating. We asked why dont you try clearing the table with all the empties, he responded the bill is more important. Up to this day no one cleared the table. We left with everything still on the table. I expected better. I used to love this place. Will not return More

We ate at Yactsman on our holiday for all meals, breakfast was included in our booking, this was fresh and poached eggs just made perfectly. The lunchtime pizza was delicious, and made in their own pizza oven. Dinner was fantastic, great flavours and good quality... ingredients. Some of my favorite dishes include the Lobster Roll, Island Caesar Salad with Scallops, and the Caribbean Pride pizza. I enjoy the wide selection of wines and drinks. The bartenders are well versed in knowledge and can always offer solid advice on a good drink... depending on what you're feeling for. The staff is hospitable and always problem solving oriented. A group of friends and I decided to go for Brunch. Silly ole me forgot to make the reservation for our table of 8. Thankful the restaurant manager, Kisean, was kind enough to ensure that our plans weren't ruined. More

For part of our vacation we stayed at the Four Seasons. The best thing you can do is get off property and explore. One evening we ate at the Yachtsman Grill and I were so happy we did. The fish is wonderfully prepared, not chewy... or dry. Wine selection was decent and not too expensive. The meatball appetizer was not that great. The coconut lime sorbet was a perfect way to end this memorable meal. Come just before Sunset to get the full effect! More

This is by far the most incredible turnaround a restaurant has ever had. The owners have put their hearts into the menu, wine list, decor, and service. The vibe is amazing and the menu keeps getting better every year. On New Year's Eve, they put... off fireworks at 9:00 so people could enjoy before the Four Seasons show. Swapping the frigid landscapes of America’s Midwest for the rain-forested idylls of Nevis, adventurous aeronaut and prolific traveler Greg Slagon arrived on the island with no real plan as to how he would invest himself in the tight-knit Nevisian community. Launching the Yachtsman Grill some seven years ago, he and his wife Evelyn have created a vibrant, nautical-inspired hideaway serving wholesome American favorites to visitors and locals alike.

A bold menu of big burgers, steaks, and fresh seafood, coupled with what Greg believes to be the island’s most comprehensive wine cellar and selection of bottled and on-tap beers, gastronomes will be in seventh heaven when dining at the Yachtsman Grill. Pick-your-own local or Maine lobster from a tank by the bar, or sample one of their famous wood-fired, thin-crust pizzas that boast all-Italian ingredients from the flour in the base right through to the pepperoni on top. Head out onto the manicured beach-front and relax on one of the comfy sunbeds, or work up an appetite playing beach-basketball, volleyball, and the bean bag toss.

What would you recommend to first time diners? Greg says, “For a true taste of the Caribbean choose from our collection of rums and ask our bartender Denzel to mix a cocktail of your choice. Our righteous lobster mac and cheese is a real hit with diners young and old, and the wood-fired pizzas are a must-try from our menu!”

Tell me something interesting about yourself: “I’m a really creative guy. I design and make a lot of graphic signage for companies all over the island. I made our Yachtsman Grill sign out there on the road, pretty cool don’t you think?”

What is your favorite place or activity on Nevis? “I’m probably biased, but I think there’s no better way to see the island than aboard a Funky Monkey Tour . We offer small group adventures in open-air Polaris 4x4s and showcase the island’s best on and off-road sights; from beach and bush, to resorts and ruins.”

Mrs Traveller and I opted for Yachtsman Grill for a romantic dinner to celebrate our anniversary and I genuinely believe we couldn't have found anywhere better on Nevis. We arrived early to enjoy a sundowner cocktail or two and were welcomed by the staff who... were friendly and attentive but never overbearing. The house cocktails here are both inventive and delicious (you have to try the "Ring 'um, Ding 'um, Sting 'um" just to say that you have!) as is the potent rum punch. Food-wise, I had the crispy calamari to start while Mrs T went for the coconut shrimp: both were excellent. For mains we had BBQ pork ribs and pasta with shrimp and again each was beautifully presented, cooked to perfection and super-tasty. I was flying solo for dessert, but the server brought us two spoons (damn!) with my lava chocolate cake and Bailey's ice cream. Armed with a spoon, my wife couldn't resist the tempatation. I couldn't blame her - this a was a fantastic end to the meal. We truly had the perfect annivesary meal at Yachtsman Grill and I would highly recommend a visit to anyone staying on Nevis. More

We enjoyed a delicious dinner and wine at the Yachtsman Grill last night. It was Friday night and the restaurant was offering low-priced, incredible specials (until the end of January) on lobster rolls, fried seafood platter, pizza, etc. The service was excellent and Denzil and... the entire Yachtsman Grill staff were friendly and attentive. Drink specials were on from 5 pm to 7 pm including two for one Carib beer and select wines. A talented, steel pan musician provided lovely Caribbean music while we dined. We and our fellow customers toasted our good fortune at being in such a peaceful, spectacular, Covid-free location while watching the glorious sunset from our table in beautiful Nevis. More

It's nice to take a break from fine dining to enjoy a pizza, especially when the pizza turns out to be fine dining! Turning out a perfect thin crust pizza in a wood oven is an art, and the woman at the oven is an... artist. The service and ambience were great, so we decided to come back to sample some of their other dishes. Another great meal! Congrats to Yachtsman Grill - keep up the good work. More

I ordered a vegetarian pizza plus BACON, (this was a takeaway) When I opened the box I asked my husband where is the bacon? Guess what,? silly me, there were miniscule crumbled and shredded bits of cooked bacon fat on the pizza, almost invisible to... see but bad, bad, bad, for your health. Next time when you are asked for bacon or advertise bacon as an extra (not free, I might add) Put BACON on the pizza and not crumbs of fat. Never eat them again. More

This is by far the most incredible turnaround a restaurant has ever had. The owners have put their hearts into the menu, wine list, decor, and service. The vibe is amazing and the menu keeps getting better every year. On New Year's Eve, they put... off fireworks at 9:00 so people could enjoy before the Four Seasons show. Nevis: Yachtsman Grill unveils special Valentine’s Menu for 2024

This exciting Valentine's Day special menu has come up with a decadent three-course platter for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at a starting price of $65 Per person, along with a glass of wine included.

St Kitts and Nevis: Yachtsman Grill, a Famous Caribbean restaurant with beautiful and delicate beachfront dining, has unveiled a special menu for this Valentine’s Day for the young and lovely couples and families looking for a perfect date plan to spend on February 14.

This exciting Valentine’s Day special menu has come up with a decadent three-course platter for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at a starting price of $65 Per person, along with a glass of wine included.

The Menu also includes a Sweetheart-shaped pizza with enriched flavours, which will be served to the visitors at 12 PM.

The Regular Menu will also be available with the “sweetheart pizzas.”

These delicate and mouth-watery cuisines will be served to the customers with the soulful collection of music by St Kitts and Nevis’s well-known singer and Artist Venelle Powell.

Powell’s melodious voice is expected to enhance the surrounding environment for couples with the soothing touch of love and romance from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Here’s the complete Valentine’s Day Menu for 2024:

STARTERS (Choose one)

• Lobster Bruschetta with charred garlic bread, sauce verge
• Garlic Mushroom Soup with Garlic Parmesan crostini, fresh herbs and vegan
• Roasted Beetroot Carpaccio with goat cheese, organic greens and raspberry vinaigrette.

ENTREES (Choose one)

• Butter Poached Atlantic Salmon with spiced mashed potato, asparagus, passion fruit and caper sauce
• Oven Roasted Cornish Hen with grilled sweet potato, glazed carrots and garlic parmesan glaze
• Seared Rosemary Scented Lamb rack with truffle Parmesan fires, greek salad and mustard rhyme sauce
• Vegetable stuffed charred Red Bell Peppers with Tofu Vodka Sauce and basil vegan.

DESSERTS (Choose One)

• Raspberry Hearts Cheesecake served with white sauce drizzle and fresh berries

Fantastique et très bel endroit pour se détendre et se relaxer. Vous pouvez prendre un bon repas et boissons dans cet hôtel juste à côté de la plage. Jouez au volley-ball ou cornhole pendant que vous attendez d'être servi. Il y a même une douche... d'extérieur pour se laver de tout le sable et mer. On ne peut pas monter à dos choisir la boisson spécialité, bière ou un grand choix de vins délicieux. Tous les repas sont de très bonne qualité. J'ai eu le plat de poulet florentine pizza cuite au feux et mon mari a pris le burger King. Les plats principaux étaient super. Comme nous sommes Américains et nous avons eu du mal à trouver de bons hamburgers et pizzas sur l'île. Il y... avait un groupe de musique (Caraïbes) et le service était rapide. Nous avons adoré le Yachtsman, nous y sommes retournés deux fois pour la plage super emplacement et la proximité de délicieux produits frais et les cocktails étaient bons. Il y avait un super sandwich, du poisson frais grillé avec des frites, un bar complet, etc.... Le service était un peu lent, mais après tout c'est la façon dont elle est dans les îles. On peut avoir des chaises de plage pour s'allonger dans la journée il faut amener des en-cas, écouter votre propre musique, jouer dans l'eau et admirez un beau quai des catamarans sur la plage. Nous avons eu le plaisir de dîner ici. Il n'est pas loin du port des ferries, donc on peut prendre le déjeuner avant de partir explorer ou après. Le service était aimable et rapide. Un bon choix de plats bien présenté. Excellentes pizzas. Le seul inconvénient c'est un peu cher. La directrice est très gentil et très informés sur l'île.

La nourriture est bonne avec un très bon chef. Ce n'est pas le moins cher, mais bon rapport qualité prix en comparaison avec le reste de l'île.

Des sandwiches, du poisson frais, excellents vins fins, pate fine pizza, de chaises longues, magnifique plage, le décor charmant, que dire de plus ? Toujours très bien mangé, le déjeuner et le dîner. Nous y avons mangé plusieurs fois, bien situé.

La nourriture était bonne et l'ambiance excellente. Très propre bar sur la plage, bonne nourriture. Nous avons commandé le poisson-frites et le rôti de bœuf panini.
