This band is a blast! The dance floor was always full. It was like being back in the 'Dancing Days' of my late twenties. Gino's voice is perfect! Go. . .you'll feel very happy.

EZFM is comprised of some of the Chicago areas finest, in demand musicians, performing the widely known, but seldom heard live, yacht rock/soft rock hits of the 70s and 80s, with a splash of Motown/r&b, and even some folk rock. You will be transported back in time, as you will recall the memories of your youth. A true nostalgia trip, guaranteed to have you singing and dancing along with the band, and wanting more!

Ambrosia, the band known and loved by a multitude of fans since the 1970’s, is now more alive and compelling than ever. This 5-time Grammy Nominated ensemble is exploring new musical territory and bringing an exceptional musical performance to stages everywhere. Always exploring the possibilities of progressive, classical, and world influences – with tangled roots of soul, rhythm, and blues – Ambrosia is continuing to entertain their original fans while still engaging newer audiences.

Originally labeled as America’s answer to the progressive invasion of English acts Yes and King Crimson, the group quickly proved itself with a unique blend of aural landscapes. Their musical styles attracted the collaboration with cultural icons Leonard Bernstein, Kurt Vonnegut Jr., Alan Parsons, Bruce Hornsby, Michael McDonald, Edgar Winter, Dave Mason, Gary Wright, Al Stewart, and others. Ambrosia had toured extensively with Fleetwood Mac, Heart, and the Doobie Brothers.

Event Details

Mark your calendars! The Concerts on The Village Green return for a new season, every Thursday at Burr Ridge Village Center. June 1st - July 27th.

THE DETAILS

The concerts will be held outside on The Village Green from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Plus, this year, we have a special treat of two concert showcases instead of one for the final two weeks of the series. Arrive early these Thursdays to grab food from area restaurants, enjoy our opening band at 6:30 p.m. and stay for the headliner at 8:00 p.m.!

Tickets are not required, however RSVPs are encouraged in order to receive event updates and more. Walk-ins are welcome and encouraged. You may arrive as early as 6:00 pm to grab your spot and relax before the music begins. Seating is not provided, so please bring your own chairs, blankets, etc.
