Nobiskrug and Messerschmitt Yachts to become partners

German shipyard Nobiskrug GmbH has announced that the company is to become partners with Messerschmitt Yachts GmbH in the construction of yachts over 60m. Messerschmitt Yachts designed the MTT-Conqueror superyacht, available in a 70m and 90m version.

The MTT-Conqueror is the first yacht of this size designed by Messerschmitt Yachts. The design has a straight-lined, masculine and sporty silhouette with a subtle military look.

Nobiskrug , in realizing these projects, is exclusively responsible for the engineering and construction of the Messerschmitt yacht designs longer than 60m in length. Due to this exclusive commitment to Nobiskrug, Messerschmitt Yachts is certain that the use of innovative, top-class materials and the high-quality construction of the Messerschmitt yachts are guaranteed.

The new 79m design concept Mitt-Shield comes as a collaboration between Messerschmitt Yachts and Nobiskrug

Nobiskrug and Messerschmitt Yachts present 79m MTT-SHIELD concept

Nobiskrug has teamed up with Swiss design studio Messerschmitt Yachts to reveal renderings for a 78.8-metre superyacht concept named MTT-SHIELD.

The design, by studio founder Felix Messerschmitt, takes inspiration from the automotive industry and is conceived as a "long bonnet racing car on the sea" designed for long-range journeys in total comfort. Its minimalist profile makes use of clean lines with bands of dark floor-to-ceiling glazing, and is based on the same naval architecture as the 77-metre Project Black Shark.

Guests can board at the stern thanks to a large swim platform and twin staircases ascending to the main deck aft, while a hydraulic foldable gangway provides a second point of entry on the starboard side.

Various amenities have also been included in the design to elevate the onboard experience of guests, such as a fully-equipped spa area comprised of a hammam, plunge pool and sauna, and as many as three Jacuzzis with the largest positioned forward on the sundeck serviced by a bar.

A central elevator connects each of the four levels on board, connecting the five guest cabins found on the lower deck with the owner's stateroom on the main deck, complete with a private office and balcony. Elsewhere, a secondary staircase and elevator for the crew to operate out of the way of guests optimises the yacht for both private and charter.

Additional highlights onboard will include a helicopter pad on the bridge deck, a formal dining space for 12 beneath the shade of the sundeck overhang and ample storage space for three tenders and two Sea-Doos concealed beneath the helideck. At a cruising speed of 12 knots, the yacht's 6,500-nautical-mile range contributes to its ocean-crossing capabilities.

Work is currently underway on three separate projects at Nobiskrug, including the 77-metre Project Black Shark expected for delivery later this year.

German shipyard Nobiskrug and Messerschimitt Yachts will become partners in the construction of yachts over 60m. Nobiskrug will be responsible for the engineering and building of the Messerschmitt designs.

This partnership guaranties that all Messerschmitt Yachts above 60m will be built using innovative, top-class materials and the high-quality construction.

The MTT-Conqueror is the first yacht designed by Messerschmitt of this size. She will be available in 70 metre and 90 metre version. Her design features straight, masculine lines and sporty and military silhouette.

Other projects are currently in the design phase.
