Description.

The Sunreef 80 Eco is a fully autonomous luxury catamaran using revolutionary green tech for fuel-free cruising in complete silence.

A launch of 2022, this sailing catamaran welcomes up to eight guests on board. Her starboard hull houses an opulent and light-filled master suite, fitted with a double bed, a walk-in dressing, a pop-up TV, sofa, and vanity desk. The generous ensuite bathroom follows the contemporary style of the master stateroom.

Her custom layout also includes a large VIP cabin in the middle section of the portside hull as well as two identical guest cabins in the bow portion of each hull. Portside of the main deck, the yacht’s galley provides plenty of storage options and is fully equipped with restaurant quality amenities.

The main deck saloon offers lots of lounging and dining space with two oversized settees and a convertible table amidships. Towards the bow, the Sunreef 80 Eco features a fully equipped bar with a piano and a pop-up TV.

This sailing catamaran’s flybridge boasts impressive lounging areas, big sunpads and, a wet bar. Inside the aft cockpit, guests enjoy a full-beam relaxation space with a large daybed, a dining table, and swim platform.

The Sunreef 80 Eco’s sail wardrobe includes a 200m² main sail, 155m² Genoa, 340m² gennaker and 70m² staysail. While under sail, the yacht produces green energy continuously with her technologically advanced hydrogeneration system.

Built by Sunreef Yachts, this electric catamaran ’s carbon mast was fitted with composite-integrated solar panels. Below the main deck, the yacht’s battery bank consists of custom-engineered batteries combining light weight with outstanding efficiency. Furthermore, the Sunreef 80 Eco’s air conditioning is the lightest and most efficient in the marine industry.

The Sunreef 80, the flagship of the Sunreef eco-friendly sailing catamarans, combines superyacht-like interior volume, intelligently designed living spaces, reliable sailing performance, as well as the latest in environmentally-friendly technology. With Sunreef's electric propulsion option and proprietary solar power system, luxury cruising has never been quieter or vibration-free.

The first Sunreef 80 launched, the 7X Split, is easily spotted from afar thanks to her graphite-colored hull that is striking in appearance. She sports a spacious 4-cabin layout, including a spectacular master stateroom, occupying most of the starboard hull along with the guest cabin. With a deliberately dim color scheme, the master suite features a massive bed, a desk, a sofa, and a dressing room hidden behind a custom-designed decorative partition. The salon is tremendous, offering stunning views, incredible space rarely ever seen on a yacht of this length, and the finest contemporary decor.

Thanks to Sunreef Yachts’ proprietary solar power system, the Sunreef 80 Eco can generate up to 32kWp. Covering a total area of 164m² solar panels can be integrated with various composite structures of the yacht including the mast, boom, superstructure and hull sides. The luxury catamaran is fitted with a state of the art, ultralight battery bank (30% lighter than the average batteries used in the nautical industry) with a density of less than 6kg / kWh for increased weight-efficiency and performance.

New in-build 24m Sunreef 80 power catamaran for sale

A new, in-build Sunreef 80 catamaran has been listed for sale with Betrand Vogele of Next Yachting . The 23.8-metre yacht is scheduled for delivery in April 2024.

Finished with dark blue hulls, the GRP catamaran is nearing completion at Sunreef Yachts , whose team designed both the exterior and interior.

Accommodation is for up to nine guests in four cabins comprising a master double and guest double in the starboard hull and twin and double guest cabins in the port hull. There are quarters for a crew of five in three cabins, situated aft in the port hull and forward in both hulls.

The expansive deck saloon, flowing seamlessly to the aft deck, offers open-plan seating and dining spaces with panoramic views. An internal helm station is positioned to starboard. The galley is found to port of the foredeck's central opening door, allowing the chef to enjoy similar views ahead. A composite Bimini, with opening top, protects the helmsman and guests enjoying open-air dining or lounging up on the flybridge deck, where they benefit from commanding views.

Twin 1,200hp MAN diesels power the 110GT yacht for sale at 14 knots cruising speed with a top speed of 24 knots. 

The Sunreef 80 is asking €8,800,000.

The 77 is the fifth catamaran in the Ultima range , joining the existing 44, 55, 66, and 88 models. A response to new owner demands, the cat is focused on sustainability, speed, and space. To that end, the newcomer is equipped with a high-tech diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system that is cleaner and quieter than traditional gas-powered setups.

Sunreef didn’t share any details regarding range or speed, but Ultima cats typically showcase the Polish yard’s signature “solar skin” that provides an endless supply of clean energy. Ultimas also pack ultra-efficient batteries that are 30 percent lighter than other systems that are commonly used in the yachting industry, according to Sunreef.

The slim hull has been optimized for cruising, with weight, aerodynamics, and balance carefully adjusted for greater drag reduction. The composite hull is also finished with ultra-slick bottom paint to help it slice through the ocean. Sunreef says the 77 can even be fitted with computer-controlled hydrofoils that will allow it to “fly” over the waves with less drag and more velocity than a traditional planing yacht.

With a beam of 27 feet, the yacht offers a generous amount of space onboard (about 3,272 square feet). The light, airy interiors can be customized by the owner, naturally. Options include a spectacular full-beam owner’s suite, according to Sunreef. Speaking of accommodation, the cat can sleep up to 10 guests in total.

The hard part will be deciding the best spot for sundowners.
