Description.

Especially requested by the Owner, Seazen II represents Japanese style design, the essential aspect of which are simplicity and minimalism. Frugal forms are kept in brown and cream with touches of muffled red. Visible structural geometry is achieved by the combination of the traditional layout of Tatami mats and decorative elements imitating indigenous Shoji screens and sliding doors. The overall outline is accentuated by the horizontal line of the furniture arrangement: low-level tables and bar, surrounded by separate sitting cushions placed in wooden frames, platform-like simple beds. Sparse and carefully selected decorations greatly replenish this posh, yet minimalistic interior – a stylish contrast between wenge and white oak wood, and combination of such materials as alcantara and skai – chocolate, cream and red color

The 21.34m/70' catamaran yacht 'Seazen II' by the Polish shipyard Sunreef Yachts offers flexible accommodation for up to 9 guests in 4 cabins and features interior styling by Polish designer Sunreef Yachts.

Offering well-appointed deck areas, Seazen II grants freedom to cruise breathtaking shallow anchorages in style and comfort.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 2008, Seazen II offers guest accommodation for up to 9 guests in 4 suites comprising a master suite, two double cabins and one twin cabin. There are 5 beds in total, including 1 queen, 2 doubles and 2 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Seazen II benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter such as Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. Guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

Seazen II is built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure. Seazen II comfortably cruises at 8 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 10 knots. With a shallow draft of 1.52m/5' Seazen II can anchor closer to coves and sheltered bays overnight.

Seazen II has a good selection of water toys and accessories to entertain you and your guests whilst on charter. Principle among these are towable toys offering fun and adventure. Also there is a waterski that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. In addition there is a SEABOB, that allow you to skim along the surface or steer under the crystal water and see a variety of aquatic sea life. If that isn't enough Seazen II also features wakeboards, kayaks, fishing equipment, paddleboards and snorkelling equipment. Seazen II also sports a 4.6m/15'1" Capelli Tender to transport you with ease.

Seazen II is available upon request for charter this winter. She is already accepting bookings this summer for cruising in the Mediterranean.

CAPTAIN - Philippe Di Renzo (Belgian) Sail and Work Experience: Philippe has been an entrepreneur since the age of 20 and holds the firm belief that every closed door has led to an improved version of himself. He has achieved remarkable success in his yachting career, having already worked as a Captain on prestigious yachts in exotic locations for 6 years. Philippe is also a qualified kitesurfing, wakeboarding, and diving instructor - showcasing just 3 of his numerous talents. He is highly skilled, enthusiastic, personable, and multilingual! Job Description: Philippe oversees the navigation, general operations, and financial management of the vessel, as well as the well-being and safety of both the crew and guests. He maintains the yacht´s efficient functioning at all times, ensuring strict compliance with hazard protocols and regulations. He further takes care of adhering to flag regulations, port state laws, and local regulations, managing the crew to guarantee full comprehension and compliance with the vessel´s policies. We really enjoyed this trip. The staff were beyond amazing. We ate amazing food and we will miss it very much. This trip was so peaceful and never stressful. Throughout the whole vacation, we felt very close to the staff and we even learned a few sailing tips from the captain. We have been on a few boat charter vacations in the past but this one was the best and the most fun by far! Thank you very much team!!! Without you guys our trip wouldn’t have been fun! Seazen II is a 2008 Sunreef catamaran that was refitted in 2019. This spacious yacht has room for 8 guests in a master suite, two double cabins and one twin cabin. The saloon is spacious and offers plenty of space to relax with family and friends out of the sea breeze. When not cruising, Seazen II has a great selection of water toys and accessories for all guests to enjoy from snorkelling equipment to waterskis.

Main features

WEEKLY CHARTER RATE 2024: High Season (July and August): €38,000 + VAT + APA 25% Mid Season (June and September): €35,000 + VAT + APA 25% Low Season (October to May): €30,000 + VAT + APA 25%

Crew Gratuity: Although discretionary, a crew gratuity of 10-15% of the charter fee is customary.

CYBA/MYBA terms will apply.

APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): APA is an estimate (usually 20% - 30% of the charter rate) paid with the balance for covering running costs during the charter (food, drinks, fuel, mooring fees, and anything else that guests might need while on charter). Final accounts will be produced by the Captain at the end of the charter and any unused funds will be refunded in full to the Charterer directly. If the funds are not sufficient, the Captain will advise the Charterer accordingly and bills will be settled upon disembarkation.

Payment conditions: 50% of the charter rate within 7 days of signing the charter agreement, remaining 50% plus VAT plus APA, at least 5 weeks before the beginning of the charter.

SEAZEN II features a +10m width to ensure space for sunbathing, entertaining and dining while onboard, as well as a swim platform for easy access to the water. She is uniquely designed with a Japanese minimalist style in her saloon which features a traditional layout of Tatami mats and decorative elements imitating indigenous Shoji screens and sliding doors. Her 4 cabins are spacious and beautifully furnished for up to 8 guest's maximal comfort. Above deck, SEAZEN II offers an abundance of space for socialising. Her width of just over 10m is exceptional and her shallow draft of 1.90 allows access to shallow waters, meaning you can explore without restrictions. The vast aft deck leads to the swim platform, ensuring easy access for all members of the family to the balmy Med.

Get to know the experienced and highly trained individuals who make your sailing experience unforgettable. Our crew members are dedicated to ensuring your comfort, safety, and satisfaction during your journey.

• What's included in the Charter Rate? The charter rate includes the yacht provided in full commission and with all necessary equipment, properly insured for marine risks and managed by a crew, whose wages, food and clothing are paid by the owner. All operating costs will be at your own expense and include (but are not limited to) fuel provisioning of food and drinks, communications, custom clearance, local taxes, port fees, motorized water activities.
• I've chosen a yacht based in Italy but I want to embark in France, who pays for the delivery? If you are planning to embark and/or disembark in a port which is not the yacht's home port, delivery and/or redelivery fees may be applicable based on the fuel consumption of the transfer
• I have completed my part of the job and selected my yacht, now I don't want to lose it, so what do I have to do next? Once your personal charter planner has confirmed the availability of the yacht you've chosen and that we have agreed on your port of embarkation/disembarkation, you will receive a charter agreement to sign along with a request for payment to secure the booking
• I tend to be quite picky as regards to what I eat and drink, what can I expect to be served onboard? Once your charter is confirmed, your charter planner will invite you to fill in a questionnaire which outlines all details of your charter: food and drink preferences, allergies, dietary and medical requirements but also travel plans, guest list, itinerary, activities. When complete, we will pass it on to your Captain and crew so that they can start arranging the best charter for you.
• Is it allowed to Smoke on board? Smoking is only allowed outside on deck and in the case of some yachts in dedicated outside areas only. Please consult Seabird for verification. For safety reasons, smoking in cabins and staterooms is prohibited on all yachts.
• I am so excited to try the water toys, am I allowed to use all the equipment onboard? The recreation equipment listed for the yachts is believed to be correct but cannot be guaranteed as they are liable to change at short notice. Should changes become necessary, the owner of the yacht will make every effort possible to comparably replace the equipment. Personal watercraft (jet-skis, wave-rumers, sea-bob etc) may be restricted in certain cruising areas and guests will also require an appropriate operating licence. Please check with Seabird first for any guidelines or if you have any specific requirements in this regard.
• I may consider rewarding the crew if they are super nice, what do you think? Crew gratuities are discretionary, although it is customary for a charterer who has enjoyed the kind and attentive service of an obliging crew to extend a gratuity. Crew gratuities are normally approximately 10 per cent of the charter fee, but can be adjusted up or down according to your level of satisfaction. The best way to ensure that all crew members receive equal recognition is to entrust the distribution of gratuities to the captain. In this way, inconspicuous crew members such as engineers and culinary staff, who make an important contribution to your enjoyment, will not be overlooked.
• I have chosen my yacht, I now understand that I have to pay, how does it work? A deposit of 50 per cent of the total charter fee is payable by bank transfer immediately on signature of the MYBA Charter Agreement. The remaining 50 per cent, plus an Advance Provisioning Allowance, together with any taxes, delivery fees and any additionally agreed charges, is payable by bank transfer five weeks before the commencement of the charter.
• Please explain what APA means? APA stands for Advance Provisioning Allowance. The APA is requested at the final payment to cover operating expenses such as fuel, food, drinks, port fees... These funds will be given to the Captain before the start of your charter so that he can fuel and provision the yacht for your specific needs before you step onboard. During your charter, you can ask the Captain for an up-to- date summary of the accounts at any time-there is no mark-up so you pay everything at cost and you can check the receipts. H. during the charter, the expenditure exceeds the sum already paid, additional funds will be required. Of course, any APA left at the end of your charter will be reimbursed to you in full. The APA is usually calculated at 25% of the charter fee.
• Do I really have to pay the VAT? Please note that due to European Union tax legislation, Value Added Tax may be charged on the gross Charter Fee and delivery costs for charters taking place in European Union Waters. Local taxes may also apply in other countries and our brokers will provide any prevailing rates according to your chosen cruising destination and itinerary.
• I would like to book some extras, can you help? We are always happy to suggest cruising itineraries, activities, restaurants based on your tastes, desires and plans. We will liaise daily with your Captain to ensure everything runs smoothly and you have the best time onboard. A private concierge service is available for all clients of Seazen II and our team takes care of all the arrangements you need whether it is a restaurant booking. an airport transfer, VIP meet and greet
• I am very much looking forward to my charter but what for some reason I just can't make it? The cancellation policy varies from one contract to another. As per MYBA, if for some reason you have to cancel your charter, the owner of the yacht may retain the full amount or just the deposit. The amount retained depends on the timing of your cancellation. For instance, if you cancel after payment of the deposit but before payment of the second installment, the owner is entitled to retain the deposit paid. If the entire charter foe has been paid, the owner is entitled to retain the entire amount-only the APA will be returned in full. Talk to our team to examine all options.
• Could you please explain what a MYBA charter agreement is? MYBA is the Worldwide Yachting Association which was founded in 1984 and requires yachting professionals to hold a particular insurance and abide by specific terms and conditions. By chartering with us, you benefit from the best procedural safeguards available across the industry.
• Insurance Seabird strongly recommends charterers take out Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance to protect their investment unforeseen circumstances prevent or curtail their charter. Additionally. All members of the charter party should be covered by Personal Accident and Medical Insurance, and their personal effects should be insured against theft, loss or damage. Other forms of insurance, such as Charter's Liability may also be prudent. Our brokers will be pleased to assist you with additional advice in this matter.
