You need to be a member or guest of a member for admittance. Excellent, friendly waitstaff and bar tenders. The top floor "Crows Nest" has a large bar, outdoor seating, and a large pub food menu. The menu changes often, has a good selection, a wide price range. The soups, particularly the seafood chowder, are always excellent.

Love this place. The sunset will take your breath away. The beverages are well priced. You do need to join the club or be a guest of a member to come here. I store my kayak here and have used the club kayaks as well. It's a great place to launch from. I am going to try some sailing lessons some time before the end of the summer. The people are nice and the staff is very accomodating. They strive to know everyone's name. I am definitely glad I joined, the dues are relatively inexpensive, but there is a very long waiting list. We were on it for two years and we just got in at the beginning of the summer of 2014.

One of the worst dinners ever! Although the servers are very pleasant, they are inexperienced and incompetent. We were never given a napkin, silverware or water until after the food was served and then we had to ask for it. No salt or pepper provided until we flagged down someone to request it. Our drinks were served without a napkin or coaster and the moisture leaked all over the table. Every one of the wines we selected were sold out and the glasses we selected were served about 15 minutes too late. We were never given rolls which were supposed to part of the menu selection. I ordered the prime rib medium rare and was given a big grey slab of beef - not even sure it was prime rib - chewy and not edible. The views are spectacular but not worth the mess. If you want a view, go to the Beach. If you want dinner, go somewhere else.

The Yacht Club of Sea Isle City 5 anchors 4487 Venicean Rd, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243 The Yacht Club of Sea Isle City New Jersey is excellent! The food is spectacular, and the service is amazing! It is a very kid and family friendly restaurant with a deck that overlooks the beautiful bay. You must be a member to dine at the Yacht Club, but it is definitely worth it! It is an affordable restaurant. The employees are super nice and care about their customers! I definitely recommend getting a membership and dining at the Yacht Club of Sea Isle City. There is a great mix of people there and everybody is kind and friendly! There are weddings and special events held there sometimes! There is also seating on the deck so you can enjoy the beautiful weather and view! The Yacht Club is my favorite restaurant and for a very good reason! The food is beyond amazing and the chef takes pride in his job! I enjoy the inside and outside of the Yacht Club because it has a very homely feel. It is nice to step outside to either eat or get some fresh air! I recommend getting a membership and eating at the Yacht Club of Sea Isle City! It is my favorite restaurant!

Jason Kelce took over Sea Isle again. Here are some highlights from his celebrity bartending event.

W earing an Eagles green luchador wrestling mask and a crop-topped jersey with a fanny pack wrapped around his waist, retired Eagles center Jason Kelce was ready to tend the bar in Sea Isle City, N.J., on Wednesday afternoon. Kelce was in town for his fourth annual celebrity bartending event to raise money for the Eagles Autism Foundation.

Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham had an early part to play in the festivities, joining NBC Sports Philadelphia’s livestream of the event mere seconds after it went on air. Graham talked all things Kelce and shouted out the Philly faithful.

“They’re showing up in a big way for us right now,” Graham said. “They go everywhere.”

Kelce’s wife, Kylie, was in attendance and also made an early appearance on the livestream, displaying her appreciation for the event.

“We’re just so excited to have everyone out again,” Kylie said. “Just so awesome to see all of the people come together; it’s such an amazing cause. So many people are impacted, so many people have a personal connection, and so to be able to see how people come together to cheer on the Birds and also cheer on the autism community … it feels so good in your heart.”

Lines of fans formed around the block as early as 4:30 a.m., before Kelce and his former teammates even arrived to begin serving drinks at the Ocean Drive. Attendees piled into the bar while cheer after cheer rang out as they waited for fans to arrive.

“I’m not spelling out Eagles again until I see an Eagle,” one fan joked.

Finally, at 4:15 p.m., the Birds made their grand entrance, filing in one by one with trays of green Jell-O shots and whipped cream, sporting custom “Shore Birds” jerseys.

While Travis Kelce was not in attendance after both brothers spent the weekend in London taking in Taylor Swift shows, there were plenty of big guests on hand. The list included other current Eagles players Landon Dickerson, Jake Elliott, Avonte Maddox, and Dallas Goedert, as well as former Birds Fletcher Cox, Beau Allen, Trent Cole, Tra Thomas, and Todd Herremans. Beloved Eagles chief security officer Dom DiSandro, who added a new title this offseason , also strolled out to a roar of applause. But the biggest applause was for the host.

“I just show up and drink beer and hang out with people, so I got the fun part,” Jason told reporters before the event. “Kylie and the entire Eagles Autism Foundation team, they put a lot of countless hours of time and work and sponsorships and everything in setting today up so that the players can just come here and have fun. It is by far the most unique and fun event that I’ve ever been a part of from a charity standpoint. Every guy that comes, we get a lot of retention, of guys doing it another year because it’s just a good time. Everybody’s down at the Shore. They’re looking for an excuse to have fun, so it’s not too hard. Just give them a reason to have fun and they’re on board.”

Guests who got their own introductions included New York Giants center Jimmy Morrissey, retired NFL players Carl Nassib and Chris Myers, media members Mike Garafolo and Ross Tucker, and, of course, Kylie Kelce. Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie and Donna Kelce, Jason’s mother, were also in attendance but were not officially introduced.

Jason had the final introduction and emerged carrying a tray of green Jell-O shots, spraying them with whipped cream while screaming at the top of his lungs. He handed the drinks out and signed autographs for rabid fans before moving behind the bar, where he settled in and eventually led the charge in a rendition of “Fly, Eagles Fly.”

Fans quickly fought to get to the outdoor bar to meet their favorite Eagles. Those who could push farther to the front took photos and signed merchandise with players like Dickerson and Graham and even Big Dom.

Other Eagles set up shop inside at the indoor bars to spread out the crowd. For those who could plow through and make it inside, the atmosphere was much calmer (and air-conditioned).

Goedert, making his second straight appearance at the event , noted his efforts at a more pragmatic approach to partying than he displayed in 2023.

“Last year … I was out for at least a full day, maybe half of the next,” Goedert said. “I’m hoping to pace myself a little bit better, you know, it’s my second year here. I’m going to have a great performance but I’m here for the long haul, not the quick sprint like last year.”

He also took a step back to appreciate the larger reason for his presence on Wednesday.

“First of all, it starts with Jason,” Goedert said. “He’s an unbelievable guy, he’s an unbelievable teammate that I’ve been fortunate to play with. And then second of all, we’re supporting a great cause that’s important to our owner, important to so many people here. … So it’s just a great way to give back and spend a lot of time with people that you don’t get one-on-one time with.”

On Thursday, Kelce will host the second annual $50,000 New Heights Beer Bowl at the Sea Isle City Yacht Club, which will again raise money for charity.

The owner, his captain, and a representative at Technical Marine UK worked with Alia, Azure Yacht Design, and Diana Yacht Design to bring the Sea Club 53 to fruition. The Azure team spearheaded the exterior design and layout, while the Diana designers are responsible for the naval architecture underpinning the hull. The yacht was initially constructed in three parts—the hull, superstructure, and helideck—that were joined together late in 2022. Alia Yachts president Gökhan Çelik says an ambitiously rapid build “brought the project from dream to floating reality in a little over two years.”

Alia Yachts Sea Club 53

Sea Club 53 is one of the most capable and flexible superyachts in the sub-500 GT size range, according to Alia. The 174-footer combines the space and capability of a support vessel with the luxurious amenities of a modern cruiser. “The launch of project Sea Club marks the start of a whole new concept in the yachting industry,” explains Onne Logger of Azure Yacht Design. “A unique combination of luxurious guest accommodation, enormous storage for tenders and toys, and an unparalleled number of entertainment possibilities.”

The newcomer will be capable of storing a helicopter, a submersible, a 43-foot tender, a 26-foot crew tender, two sailing catamarans, two dinghies, two Waverunners, and other dive gear and equipment. In addition, there is a giant storage space on the lower deck for water toys and a dedicated water sports center. The yacht also carries over 20 modular water park elements, allowing the crew to create an inflatable oceanic playground for guests on demand.

Featuring a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, the SeaClub 53 offers a generous internal volume of 499 GT. Designed for entertaining, the yacht showcases huge interior and exterior decks ideal for parties and social gatherings. She is also outfitted with one lavish owner’s suite and two generous guest cabins. As for grunt, the cruiser is powered by twin Caterpillar engines that enable a top speed of 15 knots.

The SeaClub 53 will undergo final outfitting and sea trials before it is delivered in August.

Smooth Sailing at Summer Camp in Sea Isle

yacht club menu sea isle

By DONALD WITTKOWSKI

Mac Brogan has ambitious plans for someone so young.

The 9-year-old already envisions himself becoming a competitive sailor at an advanced level.

“I want to race,” he said, confidently. “Eventually, I want to race a bigger boat.”

For now, Mac is taking beginner lessons at the Yacht Club of Sea Isle City in tiny, dinghy-like sailboats that ply the calm waters of the idyllic back bays.

Ever since the Yacht Club was founded in 1940, it has taught generations of young people, from ages 8 to 18, the art of sailing in a summer camp at the Jersey Shore.

“We’re talking about multigenerational sailors,” said Jesse Price, the Yacht Club’s sailing coordinator.

yacht club menu sea isle

As it does every summer, the Yacht Club sponsors a camp that introduces children to sailing in an exciting and safe way. Hoping to draw as many children as possible, the camp is also open to nonmembers of the Yacht Club.

“They come from all over the place. Name a state or one nearby and they probably come from there. Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Delaware …” Price said of the young sailors enrolled in the camp.

Mac Brogan actually comes from another country. His parents, Joe and Aileen Brogan, are living in Switzerland while Mac is spending the summer in Sea Isle with his grandmother, Mary Anne McCarthy, who is Aileen’s mother. McCarthy lives in Langhorne, Pa., and has a summer vacation home in Sea Isle.

While watching Mac sail around the channel next to the Yacht Club on Friday, McCarthy recalled the reaction her grandson had the first time he was in the sailing camp last year.

“When I picked him up on the first day of sailing last year, he told me that it was the best day of his life,” McCarthy said, smiling. “He’s only 9. For a guy who is so young, it’s pretty amazing.”

yacht club menu sea isle

When he brought his sailboat back to the dock Friday, Mac talked about how much fun he had on the water.

“I like to drive the boat and pull in the sails,” he said. “I like to go fast.”

The Yacht Club of Sea Isle City is a participating member of the Mid-Atlantic Yacht Racing Association and hosts a regatta each summer. Participants in the sailing camp can showcase their skills by competing in other races during the summer, Price said.

“The racing environment is a great place to show what they’ve learned,” he said. “It’s a very friendly environment.”

This summer, the sailing camp started on June 13 and will end the week of Aug. 8. The cost is $300. The Yacht Club supplies the sailboats to keep the camp affordable, Price noted.

Price caps the number of sailors at 40 per week – 20 for the morning sailing lessons and 20 in the afternoon.

“For a lot of the kids, like the ones we have today, this is their first year of sailing. One of the things I like to focus on is team-building. Then I like to focus on responsibilities,” Price said of some of the main points he emphasizes to the children.

yacht club menu sea isle

Price, a former Ocean City resident who now lives in Marmora, formerly taught sailing lessons at the Ocean City Yacht Club and the Ocean City Sailing Foundation.

During their lessons in Sea Isle, the young sailors are under the watchful eye of the sailing instructors as well as safety crews that are out in boats.

Price explained that all instructors are certified in first aid and CPR. They also carry cellphones and radios to remain in constant contact.

As a further safety precaution, the kids are limited in how far they can sail out in the back bay, based on their experience level.

“The big thing is having a safe place to sail and having other people to sail with,” Price said.

“We take safety very seriously,” he added.

yacht club menu sea isle

As part of its promotional literature, the Yacht Club says that the sailing camps “teach sound basic seamanship skills, build confidence and help our students become proficient recreational sailors, or go all the way to be award-winning competitive sailors.”

“The Yacht Club of Sea Isle City has had a longstanding commitment to promoting sailing lessons along the Jersey Beaches. Since our club’s beginning in 1940, the club has kept sailing lessons and recreational sailing for young people its main focus,” it says on its website.

Some families have been participating in the sailing camps for years. Price noted that some of the children of the sailing instructors have become instructors themselves after growing up.

Ocean City resident Emery Hurst, one of the Yacht Club instructors now, first began taking sailing lessons in the summer camp when she was just 7 years old. She fondly recalled those times Friday.

“When I think of my childhood, everything happened with sailing,” she said.
