Concept simple et convivial, l' Apéro du Lac propose à ses membres et amis de se réunir un jeudi sur deux dès ce 27 avril 2023 à partir de 17h .



Vu la météo instable de ce début de saison, et l'arrêt décidé par nos amis de l'Offshore avec qui nous alternions un jeudi sur deux depuis 14 saisons, nous avons décidé qu'en cas de mauvaise météo à la date prévue, nous reporterons au jeudi suivant. N'hésitez pas à nous suivre sur nos pages et groupes Facebook & Instagram afin de suivre la situation de plus près! En outre, le Genval Yacht Club est ouvert les jeudis, même hors Apéro du Lac, et vous accueille volontiers pour un verre, un grignotage, une partie de pétanque, sorite en paddle, barque, pédalos, etc.!

Genval a rimé avec apéro cet été

L'afterwork de l'offshore a attiré la grande foule un jeudi sur deux au bord du lac. dernière de l'été ce soir. une seconde saison est en vue..

Pari réussi pour les trois comparses qui ont mis sur pied l'Offshore à Genval. David Hellebrandt, Alexia Martin et Matthieu Hallet ont réussi à attirer près d'un millier de personnes durant dix jeudis de l'été sur un bout de pelouse situé au bord du lac de Genval. Un concept nouveau dans la région et qui a séduit. David Hellebrabdt, comment expliquez-vous le succès de ces apéros ? Cela a répondu à un manque. Il n'avait rien le jeudi pour aller boire un verre après le boulot. Sinon à Bruxelles. Les gens attendaient donc en quelque sorte ce type d'événement pour se retrouver. Et puis, le phénomène de bouche à oreille a été très efficace. Nous avons fait peu de publicité. Enfin, je pense que le fait qu'il y ait chaque jeudi un apéro à Genval a permis de fidéliser les gens. Un jeudi sur deux c'était chez nous. L'autre jeudi, c'était au Yacht club (NDLR : nous y consacrerons un article lors d'une prochaine édition) . Une dynamique bénéfique aux deux parties s'est créée. Vous attendiez-vous à avoir autant de monde ? Nous avons été un peu surpris au début. Cela a duré une ou deux soirées. On s'est ensuite habitué. Il y avait à chaque fois entre 800 et 1 000 personnes. Les soirées se terminaient vers minuit. Satisfait des apéros thématiques ? Cela a ajouté un piment supplémentaire. C'était peu de choses, mais les gens appréciaient voir certaines différences au fil des semaines. Il y a eu un kicker géant, des concerts, des DJ connus, une paella au lieu de la traditionnelle restauration, une soirée Coupe du monde, etc. Cela a beaucoup plu. Des points négatifs ? Très peu. Même si nous avons dû déplorer du vol de matériel. Notamment la grande tente en étoile qui a été volée. Elle était dans un container lors du rangement et certains ont réussi à faire sauter le cadenas. Et puis, il y a aussi du mobilier comme des poufs ou des sièges. Pas trop de problèmes avec les riverains ? Très peu. C'est vrai que le stationnement pouvait gêner. Car il y avait parfois des voitures à l'autre bout du lac. Nous avons eu certaines remarques de riverains quant au bruit ou au stationnement. Mais rien de très problématique. Prêt à repartir pour une 2e saison ? Oui, bien sûr. On peut déjà l'annoncer. Nous sommes très satisfaits du concept donc peu de choses devraient changer l'an prochain. Nous sommes également en train de plancher pour mettre sur pied quelque chose cet hiver. Mais c'est encore un peu tôt pour en parler.
