  1. Dunhill (or Peterson) Royal Yacht, A Brief Review

Royal Yacht was sort of a jokey blend on Forums, or discussed that way, a few years ago. Royal Yuck, etc. Others approved and strongly defended it. I let a tin age for several years, and mentioned that on Forums, and a member encouraged me to try it, maybe with some levity. My experience of it was different than I expected.

  5. Royal Yacht, A Short-Short Review

My sister sent me a tin of Peterson Royal Yacht for Christmas, and I opened it for my January 1 first smoke of the year. Yes! The Peterson version is just as I remember the Dunhill version, logically because it is being blended by the same outfit, and I enjoy it every bit as much. I know, I...

  7. 9 Mixtures For Dunhill Devotees

Full strength with a rich, fruity note, the origins of Royal Yacht's unique topping have long been argued, but the general consensus is that it's derived from plum. Royal Yacht has long been one of my favorite tobaccos, and it was the one I cellared deepest when the announcement was made that Dunhill tobaccos would be leaving the market.

  8. Peterson The Royal Yacht Mixture Tobacco (Formally Dunhill)

The Royal Yacht Mixture from the Peterson company is the tobacco world's epitome of a pure and full flavored Virginia blend. Made from a combination of sweet, heavy, and cool Virginia leaf, this blend enters the palate and assaults it with an almost overwhelming flavor. Blended for those who know how to enjoy tobacco on a higher level, this Dunhill blend is one for the record books.

  14. Peterson Royal Yacht Less Aromatic?

I was gifted with a tin of the newly branded Royal Yacht by Peterson, after Dunhill ceased to sell the blend under their brand, with all their other blends.
