Why Charter in Greece?

The Greek Islands are any sailor's dream destination: warm weather, azure Mediterranean waters, and friendly people. The 6000+ islands are seemingly scattered by the Gods themselves. The Aegean and the Cyclades bring you exciting new experiences every day.

About our Location

Our base is located about an hour south of Athens, and easily accessible from Athens airport.

The ideal time to sail around the Greek islands is from April to October with the high season stretching from June through September. Expect lighter winds in spring and fall, stronger winds at the peak of summer.

Our base in Greece is closed from early November until mid-March.

Local Considerations

The currency in Greece is the Euro.

Fleet Size / Boats Offered

The Navigare fleet in Greece consists of nearly 50 sailing yachts:

• Sailing catamarans 40 to 56 ft from Bali, Fountaine Pajot, Lagoon, and Nautitech
• Monohulls 44 to 62 ft from Jeanneau, Beneteau, and Bavaria

Charter Services Offered

• Bareboat charters • Cabin charters • All-inclusive charters • Luxury crewed charters

Check-in Days

The minimum charter duration is 7 days, with check-in & checkout on Saturdays.

Check-in: 5:00 PM

Checkout: 9:00 AM

Carefree Pack

Navigare Carefree includes damage waiver insurance with full coverage, welcome package, final cleaning, bed sheets & towels, dinghy, outboard engine & fuel, propane gas, full water tanks, and Wi-Fi.

Yacht Fuel is not included – the fuel tank will be full when your charter starts and you are responsible for topping off the fuel tank at the end of your charter. The price of the Carefree Pack varies by boat size and is a flat fee for bookings up to one week. A surcharge applies for bookings of 2+ weeks.
