Superyacht VIRTUOSITY has been delivered and will make her debut at the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show, in September. With naval architecture from Sanlorenzo and exterior design penned by Zuccon International Project , this magnificent 57m (187′) motor yacht really lives up to her name.

Superyacht VIRTUOSITY

Deck renderings show a tri-deck yacht with all the features owners could imagine; a glass bottomed swimming pool, 110sqm beach club further extended by fold-out doors at the stern on either side.

Luxury yacht VIRTUOSITY

The interior is expansive with space for 12 guests plus 12 crew and boasts a 54sqm owner’s apartment with its own deck and full beam VIP stateroom on the main deck.

Motor yacht VIRTUOSITY

Performance is delivered by twin Caterpillar engines which can achieve 16.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12.5 knots. She is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.

62Steel and Alloy: Sanlorenzo impresses at the Monaco Yacht Show

62Steel and Alloy took centre stage at the Monaco Boat Show 2022, where the Italian shipyard also celebrated the sale of its new flagship, the 73Steel.

62Steel and Alloy, comfort comes first

Sanlorenzo enjoyed huge success at the last Monaco Yacht Show.

The Ligurian shipyard also celebrated the sale of its new flagship, the 73m of the 73Steel line, finalised by the broker house Fraser, and scheduled for delivery to the client, already a Sanlorenzo owner, in 2026.

The two 62Steel and Alloy superyachts took centre stage among the Monegasque docks, thanks to their craftsmanship and attention to detail, innovative stylistic and technological research, which allow for a richly comfortable on-board life.

62Steel, a true superyacht experience

Five decks on 62 metres for a gross tonnage of 1,350 tonnes. The Sanlorenzo 62Steel is an impressive superyacht that the Ameglia-based shipyard unveiled in Monaco last year.

What caught the visitors’ attention was undoubtedly the owner’s suite, located on the upper deck, with a breathtaking panoramic view and an exclusive outdoor bow area: in practice an entire deck of over 140 square metres.

But if the owner can have all the privacy he or she desires, the 62Steel is also convivial, with the main deck area divided between saloon and dining room and opening out onto the large swimming pool with its transparent bottom that becomes a sunbathing area when necessary.

There are four units sold of this metal giant, one to be delivered in early 2023, while the design of one unit reaches 64 metres in length and will therefore be renamed 64Steel.

Alloy, a new concept of livability

Along with the 62-metre superyacht, the Sanlorenzo Alloy, winner of the World Superyacht Awards 2022, was also at the Monaco Show.

A fast-displacement model measuring 44.5 metres in length , it is built entirely in aluminium, as its name suggests.

It is distinguished by a distribution of spaces designed to improve liveability, both inside and out: for example, the master cabin is conceived as a private 147 square metre flat and organized on three interconnected levels , with an indoor and an outdoor area.

The collaboration between the Sanlorenzo team and Bernardo Zuccon , who took care of the exterior design , made it possible to conceive, design and build a three-deck yacht that maintains essential, sleek lines while offering megayacht solutions thanks to its large volumes.

73Steel, the ultimate comfort and technology

The Monaco Yachts Show was the perfect stage to announce the signing of the construction contract for the 73Steel, the fleet’s new flagship. She is scheduled to be delivered to her customer, loyal owner Sanlorenzo, in 2026.

With this latest contract, Sanlorenzo confirms its leadership in the metal sector: the 73Steel is the largest superyacht ever built by the shipyard and is the ninth metal unit to be sold during 2022, while there are 23 superyachts between 44 and 73 metres under construction.

There is no final design for the vessel yet, but Salorenzo anticipates a diesel-electric hybrid propulsion to minimize emissions, a refined design entrusted to the Zuccon International Project studio, linking interiors and exteriors, with a high technological level and perfectly balancing form and function.

“The design of the new 73Steel represents a fascinating new chapter in the yard’s history, not only because of its size, which is currently the largest ever built, but also because it is a testament to how strongly the company believes in the evolution and importance of a complex market such as the superyacht market “ states Bernardo Zuccon, Studio Zuccon International Project .

“As designers, we cannot but be proud once again to participate in this new adventure, basing our project research on the development of a design that, despite the large volumes available, is able to convey a principle of extreme dynamism, sportiness and contemporaneity. It is exactly this subtle dialogue between the search for a strong stylistic identity and a constant inspiration to stylistic features now consolidated within the brand’s DNA, that is the perfect interpretative key to this project.

Each line has been sculpted to emphasize the tension and plasticity of the forms, which seem to be in constant motion, without pause, modifying and adapting themselves with the aim of creating the perfect dialogue between interior and exterior spaces; a dynamic and incessant rhythm that aims at a formal evolvement able to reconstruct every time and in every detail that powerful identifiable language that has always characterized Sanlorenzo products”.

The new  Sanlorenzo 57Steel  incorporates the winning features of Sanlorenzo’s 52Steel, such as the float-in garage and beach club with a glass pool, in a larger yacht of 1050 GT.

SL 44 Alloy

The Sanlorenzo 44 Alloy is an all-aluminium fast displacement superyacht with a highly innovative layout offering live-aboard solutions never before seen on a yacht of this size. Alloy features a private owner’s suite spanning three levels, complete with sundeck, Jacuzzi and relaxation areas.

The  BGM75 , the first model of the Bluegame BGM range, does not actually enter the multihull market but creates a new, parallel segment away from other multihulls on the market. First and foremost, she is a luxurious, beautiful motor yacht that ‘by chance’ has not one hull but two.

Sanlorenzo jumped feet first into the expedition superyacht category several years ago with its 460EXP , a 138-foot explorer yacht that combined an intrepid, go-anywhere hull with the Italian builder’s flair for beautiful interior style. The yacht’s broad 31-foot beam also gave the designers huge amounts of internal space to work with, so the owners and guests could cruise the world in comfort. The boat accommodates up to 12 owners and guests, along with nine crew. It looks slow, steady, and tough, but its top speed of 16 knots is highly respectable for a displacement hull its size. Three models in the 460EXP superyacht series have been launched so far.

The new 500EXP shares many of the same features but looks even more impressive with the longer 155-foot length. The first yacht, Ocean Dreamwalker III , premiered in May at Sanlorenzo’s 60th anniversary celebration at its La Spezia shipyard. The yacht was blessed in a Buddhist ceremony with its young Chinese owner present. The steel-hulled yacht, with a much more curved superstructure than most boxy-looking expedition vessels, will have its public launch at the Monaco Yacht Show in September. Sanlorenzo incorporated a broad aft deck, which can hold several tenders or a small helicopter, with a voluminous forward section that is defined by floor-to-ceiling glass. There are exterior social areas on the main deck, upper terrace behind the main saloon and pilothouse, and a separate flybridge area protected by a hardtop. The bow also has some seats, though it’s designed more as a working space, with storage for two or three Jet Skis. The yacht’s indoor garage can house a tender that measures 25 feet. Ocean Dreamwalker III ’s interior is bright and spacious, with loose furniture in the saloon, contemporary wood joinery and furniture in the master suite, and all-white decor in the upper saloon, which is surrounded by full-height windows on all sides. It’s a beautiful interior with an unmistakably Italian touch that is not heavy or overdone. The yacht feels light and airy inside, almost like a Mediterranean pied-à-terre, but its tough, oceangoing hull can carry it anywhere in the world. Three more models of the 500EXP are being built by Sanlorenzo. The one for a Dutch owner will have an ice-class hull.

Press release, 26 September 2022  -  Sanlorenzo  lands at the  Monaco Yacht Show , the world's most important nautical event for vessels over 30 metres in length, on the strength of its latest success: the sale of the new flagship, the 73m of the  73Steel  line scheduled for delivery to the client, already a Sanlorenzo owner, in 2026. Staged  from 28 September to 1 October  at Port Hercules, the Monaco Yacht Show will once again see Sanlorenzo's  Superyacht Division  among the protagonists with two of the most successful models in the Superyacht fleet:  62Steel  and  Alloy .

With its five decks and a gross tonnage of 1350 tonnes, the  Sanlorenzo 62Steel  is one of the most esteemed superyachts in the entire industry. An impressive five-deck metal superyacht, first unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2021, the 62Steel boasts  interior spaces that ensure maximum comfort  for all guests. The special feature of this model is encapsulated in the owner's suite area, an airy space located on the upper deck that offers a breath-taking panoramic view and is connected to an outdoor bow area of over 140 square metres:  an entire deck for the exclusive use of the owner . 62Steel is as much about privacy as it is about conviviality, with the main deck area divided between the saloon and dining room and opening outwards onto the large pool with its transparent floor, that becomes a sunbathing area when necessary.  Four units  of this metal giant  have been sold to date , the third of which is scheduled for delivery in early 2023. 57 Steel reaches 16.5 knots of maximum speed and cruises at 12.5 knots. While cruising at economical speed, the range is 4000 nautical miles. Sanlorenzo shipyard delivered her in as 57 Steel model. Sanlorenzo 57 Steel has an exterior by Zuccon International Project and an interior by Vickers Studio. Event takes place in 2023-09-27 to 2023-09-30 in Port Hercule, Monaco.

12 Of The Best Superyachts Showing At The Monaco Yacht Show 2022

Once a year, the most glorious vessels ever floated gather in Port Hercule to the delight of thousands of superyacht fans from around the globe, and the Monaco Yacht Show 2022 is shaping up to deliver that and more. With no less than 100 of the world’s biggest and best superyachts set to descend on the Principality of Monaco from the 28th of September till the 1st of October, we thought would be a good idea to pick out a dozen of our favourite boats that are ready to leave jaws on the floor this year.

At more than 115m in length, the AHPO superyacht will be the largest vessel exhibited at the Monaco Yacht Show this year, meaning it’s sure to have crowds gathered around the marina just to catch a glimpse. Built by the team at Lürssen and designed by the Nuvolari-Lenard studio, the AHPO will be offering guests an insight into methanol reformed hydrogen fuel cell technology, which sits at the heart of this impressive superyacht.

If you’re one who prefers the unmistakable sound of rippling sails in the wind, the 45.3m Blush will get your blood pumping as one of the best performance sailing yachts in the game. When the wind dies down though, its luxurious fit-out will leave guests relaxed and ready for another day on the open ocean.

Borkumriff IV

First launched in 2002 after being constructed by the Royal Huisman boatyards in the Netherlands, the Borkumriff IV is one of the very best in its class as a truly classic example of a sailing yacht. Measuring just over 50.5m in length, its five sails and old-world luxury interior will leave true lovers of sailing ships sweetly satisfied.

Come Together

It might be named after the Beatles’ song, or its owner might just love good friends and great company, but the 60m motor yacht Come Together will have no trouble whatsoever attracting a crowd later this month in Monaco. At 60m in length and painted in a stealthy shade of grey, Come Together has all the amenities you might want, including a tender and parking, beach club, spa, gym and much, much more.

Constructed by the respected German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen, Soaring stretches more than 68m in length and boasts an interior design by Focus Yacht Design. As a custom design that was only delivered in 2020, Soaring is the leading edge of contemporary superyacht design, complete with guest cabins for up to 12 of your nearest and dearest, expansive deck areas and all of the amenities you could desire. It is also currently up for sale , with an asking price north of €98,000,000 (AU$146,208,440).

The 62Steel from the San Lorenzo Alchemist line is a quintessential example of contemporary Italian boatbuilding thanks to its design by the team at Officina Italiana Design. Arriving with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the 62Steel can accommodate 12 guests across six staterooms and 14 crew, while its 16-knot cruising speed comes from twin MTU diesel engines.

FB270 M/Y Triumph

As one of Benetti’s most recently delivered superyachts, the FB270 M/Y Triumph is a steel hull and aluminium superstructure vessel that features a truly timeless design and no less than six separate decks. Boasting a palatial owners apartment, 70-square-meter beach club, touch-and-go helipad, spa, sauna and more, this 65.4m superyacht is able to accommodate 12 guests and 15 crew.

First launched in 2022, the Tankoa S501 M/Y Kinda is one of the newest superyachts to be exhibiting at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, guaranteed to turn heads as one of the best-looking 50m builds we’ve seen in a while. Arriving with a pool integrated neatly into the bow of the vessel, it’s also compellingly fuel-efficient thanks to its hybrid power unit and six different running modes.

The Lusine is another 2022 delivery, with the exterior designed by the team at Omega Architects, while its interiors were another successful project for Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design. The result is an entirely customised 60m motor yacht that draws its power from a pair of MTU engines that deliver a cruising speed of 13 knots and a top speed of 17.5 knots.

Last, but certainly not least, is the Rio superyacht that was built in Italy by the CRN shipyard earlier this year. With a length of 62 meters and room enough for 14 guests and 15 crew, the Rio features a total of four decks across its sporty exterior, which are contained within the steel hull and aluminium superstructure.

VIDEO: Sanlorenzo Superyacht ‘Seven Sins’ Delivered to Monaco

The brand new 52m/171ft charter yacht ‘Seven Sins’ has recently been delivered to Monaco  where Sanlorenzo hosted an opulent preview party at the Yacht Club de Monaco and, caught on camera, a video clip provides a glimpse of the opulent action, as well as her salon and beach club.

The largest Sanlorenzo yacht to date, Seven Sins was launched in January this year at the yard’s La Spezia facility and undertook her delivery voyage just last month.

As the first in the yard’s 52Steel series, she has been subject of much attention particularly after it was revealed she would be joining the global charter fleet following her delivery.

The footage reveals her lined up in the Monaco port, with her main deck aft clearly in shot. Hard not to spot is the inviting rectangular pool which allows light to filter down into the spacious beach club below thanks to its transparent floor.

Also on show is her portside drop-down balcony, which forms part of the beach club alongside two further waterside terraces, a gym and sauna, and floodable storage space for an eight-metre tender.

Only renderings of the interior aboard luxury yacht Seven Sins have been revealed so far, but the film clip gives an insight into the work of Sanlorenzo and Officina Italiana Design, the duo behind both the interior and exterior styling.

A snapshot is provided of the modern main salon, which is flanked by an expanse of huge windows, and features a neutral colour palette and sleek finishes.

The master suite is located forward on the main deck and, with a further five guest cabins, she is be able to accommodate up to 12 guests on a private yacht charter . Other highlights include an internal staircase of Carrara marble and a glass exhibition case displaying the owner’s chosen artworks.

The motor yacht is available for charter in the Mediterranean until September and will be attending the Monaco Yacht Show 2017 .
