Blue Paradise

Blue Paradise is custom designed and equipped for East Island Excursions Inc. for charters in the rough waters of the east end of Puerto Rico. The layout features multiple seating areas inside, outside aft, forward, and on the top deck to accommodate up to 125 passengers. The main cabin is fully air-conditioned with a bar, food service, and plenty of booth seating for guests enjoy a bite to eat. The roof is open to passengers for sunbathing and lounging. Guests can enjoy the water with two stern swim platforms, a water slide on the rear, and a stairway to the sea forward, which also allows for beach loading.

East Island Excursions offers tours to Culebra , Vieques, and the Virgin Islands on a powerful and fast catamaran.

2. Afternoon Sail and Sunset — Salty Dog Catamaran

The Salty Dog offers tours to Palomino Island, Icacos Cay, and Lobos Island.  

Snorkeling, snack variety, and rum cocktails are included.

The excursion departs from Villa Marina in Fajardo. Transportation to Fajardo has to be arranged separately.

3. Bareboat Catamaran Charter — Sail Caribe Yacht Charters

Sail Caribe offers catamaran charters to Vieques, Culebra, Cayo Icacos, Palomino Island, and Culebrita.

The difference they offer is a charter where you can sail, and sleep aboard without a captain and crew.  

The service is called “bareboat” and can be very attractive if you’re an experienced sailor.

Charters depart from the Marina Puerto de Rey in Fajardo. Charters are sold by the week. Ground transportation is not included.

Castillo Tours operates its own boats, vehicles, and staff. They specialize in corporate groups.

The tour includes snorkel equipment, beach toys, boxed lunch, and refreshments. 

The differentiating factor is they will provide beach toys to play volleyball, football, or beach paddles .

The trip departs from Villa Marina in Fajardo. You can arrange transportation for an additional charge.

5. Beauty of Fajardo Day Sail — Catamaran Spread Eagle

The Catamaran Spread Eagle has been providing tours from Fajardo for decades.

The difference factor with Spread Eagle is that they have a larger variety of lunch options.

They also provide you with a brand-new snorkel included in the tour. This is a nice touch, as opposed to a used one.

The Spread Eagle catamarans depart from Villa Marina in Fajardo.  

The tour is 5 hours, and if you’re departing from the San Juan area you should leave 2 hours earlier. This charter company does not offer transportation with the tour.

If you would prefer to see the sights of Old San Juan , this morning mimosa tour is an option.

10. Morning Snorkel Sail — Katarina Catamaran

The Katarina Catamaran sails on the west coast of Rincon.

The boat is a 32-foot catamaran that can accommodate 17 guests. They include rum punch, lunch, refreshments, and snorkeling.

The Katarina Catamaran is moored in Rincon. You will need to board a small watercraft from the Balneario of Rincon, which transports you to the bigger boat.

This tour might be challenging for people staying in the San Juan metro area. It’s recommendable to stay on the west coast so that you can arrive on time.

Luminous One- La Parguera Bio Bay Boat Ride with Swimming

The Luminous One is a boat ride to the original bioluminescent bay in La Parguera, where guests are able to swim in the bioluminescence. The total tour time is about an hour. Guests are allowed to swim for 20 minutes to preserve the organism and habitat. La Parguera is a quaint fisherman's village with restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops. Culebra Snorkeling and Beach Tour

Upon departing marina Puerto Del Rey, we head straight out to Culebra along the Cordillera Islands. After about 45 minutes on our high-speed catamaran, we arrive at one of Culebra’s beautiful reefs and anchor for about an hour and a half of snorkeling. Depending on water condition our captains will take you to the best stop. We then move on to our beach stop. Occasionally due to water conditions we may choose Culebrita, Playa Tortuga or another beautiful beach that will be the best to enjoy the rest of the afternoon. At either location you can swim into the beach or do some more snorkeling. We depart Culebra around 2:15 pm, returning to the marina around 3:00pm.

Important Information

Family-friendly tour. All ages can participate! Infants 3 years and younger are free but need to be included as passengers.

For private tour we can accommodate up to 80 passengers (coast guard certified), but for non-private we only accommodate 70.

What's Included

Embark on a tropical paradise escape to Icacos Island and enjoy great views, crystal clear waters and underwater wonders.

This tour includes:

• Lunch (deli-style buffet with cold cuts, cheeses, fresh bread, pasta salad, bean salad, and chicken salad)
• Snacks (chips and fresh fruit)
• Beverages (rum drinks like Piña Colada and Rum Punch, Medalla beer, assorted sodas, juices, and water)
• Waterslide, snorkeling equipment, and floating devices.
• Underwater windows and nets upfront to sunbathe

Transportation

Roundtrip transportation is offered at an additional fee per person from any major hotels in the Old San Juan, Condado or Isla Verde area.

If you’re staying in Puerto Rico’s northeast coast, Rio Grande, Rio Mar, Luquillo, Fajardo, and Palmas del Mar in Humacao, call us for transportation minimum and pricing at +1 (787) 860-3434.

Cancellation Policy

For individual reservations of 1-9 passengers, there can be cancellations until 10:00 am the day before the scheduled trip with no penalty. Reservations for 10 or more passengers require cancellation at least two (2) days in advance.

“NO SHOW” if you don’t arrive on time, the ticket is NOT REFUNDABLE and NOT REUSABLE unless (and only if) we have space available to reschedule on a future date. Reschedule must be made on the day of the original trip, base on availability and a rescheduling fee of $25 + tax per person will be applied.

*All marine activities are subject to water conditions. Please call the day before your trip for an update. Cancellations or change of destination due to water conditions is at the Captain’s discretion. These decisions will be informed at check-in.

Recently booked a snorkeling tour to Icacos and it was amazing. The prices were fair and they were able to provide transportation from Viejo San Juan for an additional cost. The crew was amazing and took care of us. They were very attentive and they kept the drinks coming. The water conditions weren’t the best for snorkeling but they did their best to find us s spot. Accessing the beach required to swim from the boat. It wasn’t ideal but made it fun. I intend to book again on my next trip to PR. Next time it’ll be Culebra. Keep up the good work. I would love to hear more reguetón and more Latin music next time.
