Genshin Impact: Specter Locations
Players need to farm Specter drops as character and weapon ascension materials, and materials for talent level-up.
Specter locations in inazuma, specter locations in enkanomiya, specter locations in sumeru.
First introduced during Genshin Impact' s Inazuma Arc, Specters are common enemies that players can encounter during their exploration in various regions, including Inazuma, Enkanomiya, and Sumeru. While they are relatively easy to defeat, given that they float above the ground and are immune to elemental damage, players may find them to be annoying opponents in certain situations.
Related: Genshin Impact: Top 20 Support Characters And How To Use Them
Specters in Genshin Impact also build up a Fury meter, which can increase their attack strength. Additionally, when defeated, they will explode, dealing AoE damage. Upon defeating a Specter, players can obtain a set of rewards, namely Spectral Husk/Heart/Nucleus, based on the enemy's level and the player's luck. These materials are commonly used for leveling up characters and their talents, such as Kokomi , Kirara, or Gorou, as well as certain weapons of different rarities.
Most Specters in Genshin Impact are located in Inazuma, primarily in Seirai and Watatsumi Islands. Interestingly, there are no Specters in Narukami , Yashiori and Kannazuka Islands.

Specter Locations in Seirai Island
Seirai Island is cluttered with sets of Specters, all of which are easily accessible through nearby teleport points except for the few locations at the south part of the island clusters near the Amakumo PeaK. For the Specters at the southeast island part, players can simply first defeat the Specters at the east side of the Amakumo Peak near the teleport location there, move south to the southwest shore to defeat the Specters there, and lastly swim to the nearby island shore to defeat the remaining ones on this section of the island.
For the west and south sections of the island, players can simply begin their farming route through the central teleport point at Amakumo Peak, near the Thunder Manifestation, and glide down to farm the Specters at the southwest. Then, they can move towards the northwest to defeat the remaining ones at the west side of the main island clutter before passing through the small land connection to clear the remaining ones at the semi-connected island section in the west. Lastly, to reach the Specters at the southernmost island, players can simply teleport back to the same teleporter and glide towards the south shore of this island.
Specter Locations in Watatsumi Island
Most Specter locations in Watatsumi Island are even easier to reach than the ones in Seirai Island, as they are conveniently located around the teleport points. Players can follow any route they prefer, primarily circling the outer perimeter of the island with a few deviations. Statue of Seven is also quite helpful to reach many of the nearby points.
Related: Genshin Impact: Vishap Locations and Bone Shard Farming Routes
Specter Locations in Tsurumi Island
There are also 3 Specters on Tsurumi Island near the teleport point at the southernmost part of the island, ensuring that players do not miss a single Specter.
Like in Inazuma, Enkanomiya is another area where players can find plenty of Specters to farm. While players can find many Specters at The Serpent's Bowels and a few near the Evernight Temple, most of these Specters are actually located on the Hidden Islands, which are accessible after picking the "Erebos' Secret" quest at The Serpent's Heart area.
Specter Locations in The Serpent's Bowels
Specters are located at three locations in The Serpent's Bowels. The first set of Specters are one of the more difficult ones to locate, since they are hidden in a semi-cave location. To access to its entrance, players need to go to the shore marked on the map from the south teleport point, and afterwards go up and turn left. After a short climb, they can find the Specters. Alternatively players can also climb from the other side, which is accessible near the Electro Elemental Puzzles and climbed up passing there. The climb location is near the below Ruin Guard.
Related: Genshin Impact: Fatui Mirror Maiden Locations
The other two sets of Specters are easily accessible from the middle teleport point of this island. Players simply need to head north from this teleporter and follow the waterway. They will come across the first set of Specters, and shortly after, they will find the Pyro Specters nearby (which are also visible from this location).
Specter Locations in Evernight Temple
The Specters in Evernight Temple are initially hidden , until players get close enough. In order to find them, players need to teleport from the middle teleport point and not the one at the north west since they are located above the unique rock formations. These Specters will appear near the special Enkanomiya light mechanism that allows players to change between Evernight and Whitenight.
Specter Locations in Kunado's Locus
Kunado's Locus is the southern hidden island in Enkanomiya. Once players teleport to the teleportal, they should pass through the semi-broken bridge. Instead of following the trail to reach the temple area, they should climb the hill ahead after a short glide. Once on top, players can see the first set of (Pyro) Specters. One level lower on the hill, players will be able to see the second and third set of Specters, both of which consist of only Geo Specters.
Specter Locations in Yachimatahime's Locus
Yachimatahime's Locus is the northeast hidden island in Enkanomiya. Compared to Kunado's Locus, there are more Specter locations to find, with 4 sets instead of 3. They are relatively easier to find, even though they are more scattered. For the first two sets, players simply need to follow the trail and go through the portal, where they will come across Hydro Specters. On the other semi-island slightly below, connected by a broken bridge, players can find the Anemo Specters.
Related: Genshin Impact: 15 Rarest Local Specialties And Where To Find Them
For the remaining sets, players simply need to glide down from the most northern point of the formation with the Hydro Specters towards the next island with wide stairs, where they will find another set of Hydro Specters. Lastly, by climbing the nearby hill with the broken temple structure, players can find the remaining set of Anemo Specters. Players will not need to go to the last mini island in Yachimatahime's Locus for Specters since there aren't any.
Specter Locations in Yachimatahiko's Locus
Yachimatahiko's Locus is the last hidden island in Enkanomiya and is located in the north of the map. Players will come across the first two sets of Specters by simply following the trail and gliding. Once players have defeated the second group (Hydro Specters), they need to climb the nearby rock structure to find the Geo Specters. Afterward, players can simply glide towards the south to a lower rock formation to find the remaining five Anemo Specters.
In Sumeru, there are only a couple of locations where players can find Specters. If players have not explored Sumeru yet, or are otherwise short on time, they can skip farming the locations here since the number of farmable Specters is quite negligible.
Specter Locations in Vissudha Field
The primary location for Specters in this area is accessible through either the Vissudha Field Statue of Seven or, otherwise, the teleport point at the river's end near Fane of Ashvattha. The Specters are located at the bottom of the waterfall.
Additionally, there are 3 more Specters in Vissudha Field, accessible through the teleport point on the hill (as shown on the map). Players simply need to glide down and follow the trail to find them.
Specter Locations in Hypostyle Desert
The last location for Specters is located near The Dune of Elusion. Players can simply travel towards the north and will be able to find them near the cacti on the trail that goes towards the Dune of Magma.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.

Genshin Impact: Specter locations and Spectral Heart farming guide
Remember those Geovishaps that you used to fight all over Liyue? Remember how they tend to be very annoying? Well, these new mobs are bound to make you pull your hairs out. They’re called Specters, and they’re quite a nuisance. Here’s our Genshin Impact Specter locations guide to help you farm their drops such as the Spectral Husk, Spectral Heart, and Spectral Nucleus.
Note: For more information about the game, check out our Genshin Impact guides and features hub , as well as our version 2.1 overview .
Genshin Impact: Specter locations – Spectral Husk, Spectral Heart, and Spectral Nucleus farming guide
One of the main reasons why fighting Specters in Genshin Impact is quite annoying is that they float and flutter in mid-air. They tend to be hard to reach if you’re using characters who wield swords and claymores. At best, you might hit them with certain skills or bursts, but you’re better off with bow and catalyst wielders. If you have Ganyu , then she can make quick work of them.
There are also a couple of minor problems that you’ll face. The first is that most of their projectiles tend to home in on your characters. Second, they don’t immediately die when their HP is fully depleted. Instead, they might explode or leave behind an AoE field that causes damage. You’ll probably wait a few seconds before you pick up their drops. Ah, but those drops are important. Specters are the only enemies in Genshin Impact that provide you with Spectral Husk, Spectral Heart, and Spectral Nucleus. These materials are needed if you wish to ascend Aloy and Sangonomiya Kokomi .
So, where exactly can we farm Specters in Genshin Impact ? Well, the first location is Seirai Island. You can see the spots marked on the map below:
Specters are plentiful here, and they all tend to spawn in clusters of two to three mobs. That makes farming them dangerous if you’re low-level, but the process is still rewarding since you can take out more of them in a short span of time.
If you’re farming Specters on Seirai Island, beware of the central area called Amakumo Peak. This place has unceasing thunderstorms and lightning can strike you down. We suggest completing the Seirai Stormchasers world quest to make things smoother.
Watatsumi Island all the way to the west also has several Specter farming locations in Genshin Impact :
You’ll find many of them on the small landmasses or shallow water.
While you’re here, you might as well finish the Moon-Bathed Deep quest and unlock the Suigetsu Pool domain .
Genshin Impact is available via its official website . For more information, check out our guides and features hub .

Genshin Impact added new ascension materials: Spectral Husks , Spectral Hearts , and Spectral Nucleus . You can find them by killing Specters around two islands in Inazuma.
Our Genshin Impact guide will show you how to find Specters and collect their materials.
Specters are found on both Seirai Island and Watatsumi Island , mostly on the shores around the water. They normally sit in packs of about three, so once you find one, you’ll find a handful of them. You can see where they are, courtesy of Genshin Impact Interactive World Map .
Specter drops depend on your world level and the level of the Specters you fight.
- Specters below level 40 only drop Spectral Husks
- Specters from level 40-60 drop Spectral Hearts and Husks
- Specters at level 60 or higher drop Spectral Nucleus, in addition to Hearts and Husks
If you’re having rotten luck with Genshin Impact drops, you can always use an Alchemy Table to craft the higher rarity drops. It takes three Spectral Husks to make one Spectral Heart and three Spectral Hearts to make a Spectral Nucleus.
Specter elemental affinities
As of writing this, Specters have three different elemental affinities: Geo, Anemo, and Hydro. They’re all immune to their respective elements. As they take damage, they’ll get bigger and stronger, until they eventually die and explode.
So far, the only character that needs Spectral drops to ascend is Aloy and the only weapon that needs them is The Catch.

Genshin Impact 2.1 Specter locations: How to farm Spectral Husk
With the Genshin Impact 2.1 update , the developer miHoYo added a tonne of content, from new characters such as Aloy , Kujou Sara and Baal , brand-new Archon quests , a Fishing system and much, much more. There are also several featured events throughout September 2021, and powerful new weapons to acquire. Not to be forgotten, however, are the new Specters enemies which players can defeat in order to farm the highly important Spectral Husk items.
Specter locations in Genshin Impact 2.1
A big part of the content in Genshin Impact 2.1 can be experienced on the two new islands, Watatsumi and Seirai.
In case you haven't figured it out, that's where the new Specter enemies reside, and they hold, among other things, the Spectral Husks ascension material, alongside Spectral Heart, and Spectral Nucleus!
Simply check out the maps for the Specter locations in Genshin Impact 2.1 below for both the Watatsumi and Seirai islands.
Watasumi island Specter locations:
Seirai island Specter locations:
Now that you know all the Specter spawn locations in Genshin Impact 2.1, we have a little tip to share. These enemies can be a bit difficult to kill, and sometimes you will get that "immune" notification on attacks. There are Anemo, Geo and Hydro Specter types.
We recommend you compile a diverse team with different elemental attacks to get farm Specters efficiently. They also explode when they die...
What are Spectral Husks used for?
To put it mildly, Spectral Husks are important for most travellers to farm. Spectral Husks is ascension material, used to level up weapons and characters.
Importantly in the Genshin Impact 2.1 update, Spectral Husks are used to level up The Catch polearm which is great to use with Raiden Shogun (Baal) and it is also a material used to level up both Aloy and Kokomi .
So there you have it, all Specters locations on both new islands in Genshin Impact 2.1 so travellers can farm those Spectral Husks with ease.

Genshin Impact: All Specter Locations
Specters are one of the recently introduced enemies in Genshin Impact that players can farm to get character and weapon ascension materials, including Spectral Heart, Spectral Husk, and Spectral Nucleus.
In terms of appearance, the Specters draw a lot of resemblance to slimes. They also come in different varieties based on their element.
Specters are one of the difficult-to-deal mobs in Genshin Impact . They have high resistance, and the most annoying thing about them is that they grow stronger when hit by high damage dealing attacks.
In this Genshin Impact guide, we will talk about all Specter locations. It will help you in farming those ascension materials for characters like Kokomi and weapons like “ The Catch .”
All Specter Locations in Genshin Impact
The best location to farm Specters is Seirai Island. Specters are common enemies that are found all across Seirai Island. Our Specter farming route starts from either “ Seiraimaru ” or “ Fort Hiraumi. ” From there, make your way towards Amakumo Peak.
Once you reach the base of Amakumo Peak, stick to the beachside and circle around the Amakumo area. You will find the Specters floating near water.
The second location for farming Specters is Watatsumi Island. Teleport to the waypoint located left of “Suigetsu Pool.” Jump down and move towards Sangonomiya Shrine. Once you reach there, circle around the Bourou Village and make sure you stay in the mountains. You will find a decent number of Specters.
Genshin Impact is a free-to-play gacha-based role-playing game currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, Android, and iOS.
