Annual White Marlin Open:

The White Marlin Open is the world's largest fishing tournament founded in 1974 and has been a major highlights of the summer season in Ocean City Maryland. This fishing event takes place in August every year and with prize money exceeding $1 million, it attracts more than 300 anglers every year. The event is exciting for the spectators as well as they root for their favourite angler and then attend the weigh-in of the day's catches in the evening. The weigh-in is open to the public and thousands cram into Harbour Island Marina for a chance to see a million dollar fish raised at the scale.

Annual Marlin Club Canyon Kick-Off:

The Ocean City Mdrlin Club Canyon Kick-Off, held each year on or around the Fourth of July weekend, is the first significant event of the season for the Marlin Club each year. This is a 2 of 3 day event. While it is open to all anglers, entry for the tournament is free to OCMC Boat Members. This is an offshore event with prizes for Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and Billfish Releases. Cash prizes are awarded for first, second and third place in the heaviest fish division. The weigh-in are the major crowd pullers as thousands cheer while the cash prizes change hands at the tip of a scale.

Annual MSSA Tuna-Ment:

The Maryland Saltwater Sports fishing Association holds the official offshore Annual Tuna-Ment Tournament benefiting the MSSA and their mission to protect the rights of sport fishermen, and enhance the fisheries' resources. As the name suggests, tuna is the targeted game for this event and more than 50 boats participate every year. The Tuna-ment is known for its laid back attitude and convenience with 4 Mid-Atlantic weigh stations – Indian River, Sunset Marina in West, Ocean City and Chincoteague. Dolphins are also allowed in special categories and there are additional skill levels for tuna and dolphin.

Annual Big Rock Blue Marlin:

The Annual Big Rock Blue Marlin tournament is the "Super Bowl" of fishing because of the way winner's feel after capturing the event. Hundreds of anglers participate, representing the best marlin fishermen in the world. Though the prize money of almost a million dollars is tempting, that is not the main reason why anglers from all of the world participate – they participate for the bragging rights that comes with a Big Rock victory. For the last 16 years, the competition has topped $1 million and continues to grow with increased sponsorship and participation.

The Ocean City Fishing Center is The Fishing Center for Ocean City, Maryland.  Hosting charter boats of all sizes and accommodating all budgets.  Our goal is to book you a fishing the experience of a lifetime.

We specialize in trip of all types.  For those looking to catch Big Game fish such as Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo and a wide variety of Sharks we have many offshore boats to choose from.  We also offer inshore trips for Sea Bass, Tautog, Flounder and Rockfish.

All of our boats are U.S. Coast Guard licensed and inspected annually.  Each boat is supplied with everything you need for your trip, Captain, Mate, bait, rods and tackle.  All you need to bring is food and beverages.  We’ll provide the fun!

• CANCELLATIONS (RESCHEDULES):
• Trip may be cancelled (rescheduled) 10 days prior to the date of the trip, resulting in a refund being issued. Any trips that are cancelled (rescheduled) less than 10 days will result in forfeited deposit. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• Weather cancellations may be rescheduled or a refund of all monies in full. The Captain reserves the right to cancel due to weather.
• No Shows – anyone that books a trip and does not show up will automatically forfeit all funds paid.
• REFUNDS: There will be NO CASH REFUNDS issued. In the event of a cancelled charter in which payment was made by cash or check, the accounting department will issue checks within 10 business days of the trip. Any credit card transactions will be credited to the card at the time of cancellation.
• DISPUTE: Any disputes regarding charter payment or charter policies must be submitted in writing to the Ocean City Fishing Center Administrative Office accompanied by a receipt obtained for any payment made to our facility.
• TIPPING: A customary tip is generally 15% – 20% of the total cost of the trip.

All Charter vessels in this Marina will hold no more than 6 persons, fishing or not, during each trip. Your trip will also include a Captain and a Mate. Please remember that you are required to bring your food, drink (NO GLASS and NO HARD LIQUOR) and a cooler for your catch.

The Ocean City Fishing Center is a charter booking service established for the convenience of the Charter Captains associated with OCFC. Each vessel is individually owned and operated. Ocean City Fishing Center assumes no liability whatsoever.

TAG AND RELEASE programs and conservation are encouraged by the Ocean City Fishing Center and the Charter Captains associated with OCFC. Our captains prefer and strongly suggest the release of all billfish and other species not intended for consumption.

We have some unsettled weather today but a pretty decent Southwest wind which will build… If there is a clearing, the sailing will be good out in the ocean, with minimum waves… The Best Bet today is to watch the radar with us and consider the 2pm (2 hour) sail or 4pm (3 hour) sail… Fingers crossed on sunset.

The Ocean City Girl is one of the longest running Ocean City Fishing Charters for Deep Sea Fishing in Ocean City MD.   Like so many of the other Charter Boat around we are a family owned and family operated business.   We cater to people who are looking to experience their first deep sea fishing adventure on an Ocean City fishing charter as well as seasoned anglers looking for a charter boat that produces results.   Where we differ from all the other Ocean City Maryland Fishing Charters is that Captain Jeff is a full time, year round professional fisherman and the OC Girl can carry charter groups up to 16 passengers.   Captain Jeff runs our charter boat for happy customers Spring through Fall and then fishes his commercial boat over the winter.

Welcome To RoShamBo Sportfishing.  We are one of the premier Offshore Charter Boats located in The White Marlin Capital of the World, Ocean City, Maryland.

The Weapon is a 2019 65ft. Custom Carolina Boat built by Terry Guthrie and Bluewater Yacht Yards.  The ammunition is top of the line electronics including the Furuno Omni Sonar, Garmin GPS and Fish Finder, and Seakeeper anti-roll gyro to eliminate boat roll.   The ammo will also include Custom Fishing Rods by Connley Rods topped with Shimano Reels.  This will all be fired by Captain Willie Zimmerman.  Willie has over 20 years of experience fishing out of Ocean City, Maryland.  The Boat will be docked at the Ocean City Fishing Center in West Ocean City.

We will be targeting many species of fish including Monster Tunas (Yellowfin, Bigeye, and Bluefin), Mahi-Mahi (Dorado), Wahoos, Shark, White Marlin, Striped Bass (Stripers, Rockfish), and the elusive Blue Marlin.

2020 will be our first year on this brand new boat running charters.  We plan on setting the bar for Charter fishing in Ocean City.  We are offering all-inclusive packages on your offshore excursion including all of your food and non-alcohol drinks, so all you have to do is show up and fish.

Here’s How it Works:

• Provide the office with a cell phone number where you can be reached while you are in Ocean City.

Great affordable option for a small-large group that wants to celebrate a special occasion, sight see OC, or have a fun time on the water!

The Calico Jack is a 48’ Coast Guard Inspected Custom Chesapeake Headboat offering 1.5 and 2.5 hour private cruises.

The clean and comfortable accommodations are great for parties, such as birthday, anniversary, bachelorette, and bachelor parties.

Food and drink (including alcohol) are permitted, but not supplied or served. We also have room on board for coolers and ice for sale in our tackle shop. Decorations are welcome and an 8-foot table is provided for your convenience. Due to the style of the boat you will not be able to get on and off of the boat to swim.

The boat is designed to offer you the most enjoyable experience with bench seating, restroom, and Bluetooth radio: so get your playlist ready!

During or at the end of your charter, you can request to the Captain to stop or drop you off at a local bar/ restaurant. The Calico Jack is a large boat and can stop/ drop off to locations such as Fishtales on 22nd and Sunset Grille in West OC. Unfortunately we cannot take you to Seacrets, or locations north of 32nd St.

The Calico Jack departs from 32nd street bayside, next to Jolly Roger Amusement Park and there is plenty of FREE parking along 32nd street.

Based out of Ocean City, Maryland, Boss Hogg is a 61ft Custom Carolina Sport Fish built By Blackwell Boatworks. She was completely retrofitted for its ribbon cutting in May of 2014. Powered by Twin Cat Diesel 3406s the customized Carolina Flare hull offers a comfortable ride and is set-up and always ready for charters and tournament fishing.

Boss Hogg is captained by Brian Porter and Alex Beane, two of the most renowned and most tournament successful captains on the East Coast.

Boss Hogg hails from Sunset Marina Resort in Ocean City Md. To make reservations, please call Captain Brian Porter at (410) 458-1164 . A deposit of $600 is required within 10 days of your reservation. If the charter is cancelled by the Captain due to weather, a new date will be provided.
